Manufacturing footage from the Jaguar Land Rover plants in England, building the Range Rover (L405), Range Rover Velar (L560) and Range Rover Evoque (L538). Filmed at Solihull, Castle Bromwich and Halewood.
Picking up my 12th LR RR at the end of the month. Have never had a serious issue. Ppl love to give them a bad wrap-Ive noticed most touting their unreliability have never owned one.
The crates willbe identified with the supplier names and part description, so please educate me further.. By the way, Goodwood is the home of Rolls Royce not Land Rover.
You mean a car with a proper hand break, no auto windscreen wiper, no auto this no auto that the list goes on and on, yes back in the day when so less to wrong.
So if Land Rover, which is an Indian owned company who build family people carriers can have a UK based manufacturing plant, why can't a British vehicle maker Ineos build the rugged off road utility vehicle in the UK as well?
@@agt155 Not quite. He was offered a Mercedes plant in France producing the Smart car that was going to be closed with production shipped to China. Mercedes offered the plant to Ineos to build their car and to continue building the Smart car under contract for Mercedes. It was courtesy of Mercedes not French or German Gov support. Wales on the other hand spent over £20million supporting Ineos on the project to support the Welsh plant, money that is now lost. Post Brexit Bojo boasted that UK could now have the "freedom" to support UK industry, but typically, he did not put his money where his mouth is.
@@Hattonbank How much grant cash did Mercedes get for the factory in the first place? I'd wage it probably wasn't their factory in reality anyway. BREXIT? The UK automotive sector has been criminally underinvested by the EU for 40 years. How many new factories from EU manufactures have there been? A mini assembly plant and...?
This video editing doesn’t make any sense. At 07:50 you see a lad driving off with the finished product and then 10 seconds later you see a car going though some sort of wash with half of its bits missing
Just imagine if LR could get a reputation of being a reliable vehicle, the sales would go through the roof. It's now written in folk law, don't buy a Land Rover and expect reliability.
Hope they sell it with a 10 year warranty otherwise don’t waste your time biggest disappointment on the market don’t see any in the Paris Dakar rally mine over landing in Aussie none on 4x4 adventure in nz total waste of money
