I replaced mine. A pro-owned from the junk yard and after installing it. The vehicle wouldn’t start. So, I put the original back and it wouldn’t start either. After a while Googling. It looks like it needs to be programmed to your vehicle. Well after leaving the key on for a while (-20 minutes) before giving up. I turn the key on and the vehicle started.. thank goodness. So now, I am just going to drive the vehicle to a reprogram shop.
Thank you for video. 44000 owner and mechanic have seen this video. Maybe all cluster need replacement from these cars. I think the quality is not same high as prices are of these cars.
Thanks for this. Very useful. I had a bit of trouble getting the unit to break free at the top over the gauges. It seemed to need lots of pry tools and some effort but finally it came loose then slid right out towards the drivers door.
What did you do to reprogram/flash the cluster? Can I buy a program to do it. I replaced cluster, got a couple of faults, suspension and car won't crank or start. and now it needs to be reprogrammed and only the dealer can do this where I live or so I have been told.
No the 2010 is different and will need alot of programming and updates to retrofit the cluster especially, programming the vehicles immobilizer and computer.
