Thanks for the video. Did the fault come back? Simply clearing faults won’t fix the original problem but hoping in your case it was a glitch like you said. Just diagnosing the exact problem on my 2004 L322, same exact symptoms, switches aren’t activating, dash cluster fault warning etc. Haven’t driven it much and let the battery run down thinking it would clear when resetting steering sensor....didn’t so about to bridge at the relay to see if I can power up the pump.
Hi Alfred, No the problem has not come back YET! my particular issue is random. i'm aware that a low / dodgy battery can throw up lots of little gremlins, although I drive my car everyday, the journeys are very short i.e. 3.5 miles each way (approx. 15 minutes) so the battery does get a battering, but touch wood, no problems at the moment...
Tried that didn't work for me . However if I disconnect the battery then reconnect , the dash lights up like a Christmas tree, then doing the full lock thing you mention does clear all the warning lights
Morning it's proper name I'm not sure of sorry, but if you Google range rover EAS reset tool I'm sure you will find one. If you watch the video again, on the dash just after I remove the gadget (I think) it says rangerovereas.com I was a member of a range rover online forum, another member had one for sale, so I bought it. Please remember, the gadget will not fix mechanical problems. My one tripped out every now and then (perhaps a software glitch)
I bought it second hand from a member on a range rover forum. if you want one just google range rover eas rest tool, they are about £80 on e-bay. just make sure you choose the right one for your car, mine is L322 02-05 year
@@northernlad8142 Sir, when the indicator have a information "Air Supension Inactive" the light on the compartemen is on or off ? Also the air suspension is off right ?
@@demajorsTV Hi demajorsTV, yes when the 'Message center' on the dash shows the "Air Suspension inactive" message, the light on the centre console, by the switch that controls the raising / lowering of the car, is off! and the suspension does not operate at all. this also includes the button on the drivers door, which is used for easy access to the vehicle for individuals who may struggle getting into the car at standard ride height, or for loading heavy / bulky objects. I would like to mention, the gadget I use, will not reset the EAS (electronic air suspension) if there is a Mechanical / Hard fault, that will need to repaired by a mechanic etc. mine seems to be a 'Glitch' that shows it's self on a random basis!
