Been following Gil Morales and found this entry tactic. I use this primarily and what he calls Volume Dry Up or VDU. I really like how immediate the trade happens after one of these entries.

Surprised seeing this. Finally someone talks about proper initial entry. Buying breakout often incorrect. That is where smart money selling some. Buying counter trend or shakedown that is a way to buy. Second way buy retest after breakout. Have to buy with smart money and sell with them too.

This is my favorite strategy. I do it well by instinct. The question is how to find these stocks or which scanner setup does bring us such stocks? It works better than buy at breakout or pullback. Thanks

And something else, This Blue Dot (or Red as in Mr Minervinis presentations) pointing is just perfect for pointing out the chart parts. Is it possible to make it standard in this channel and also ask your guest to use this or equally good ones too ? I have experienced some difficulties in following a few of your guests presentations that otherwise have prepared a very well thoght presenatation. Thakn you again for all you efforts.

This is my fave setup, but I will play the higher low/higher high as long as it is back inside the range rather than wait for the move through the range.

You guys don’t teach short trade? O’Neal has one book about shorting. I read it. I’m looking for shorter time frame approach than his.

I made many mistakes buying at down down down. That`s being said never catch a falling knife. But that`s part of the game.

This essentially happened to me back at the end of April on AA. It had tightened up on the converging 10/21 and started to break, failed and V'd out at the bottom of the range, set up a nice handle and broke from there. Failed to notice the follow-up setup so missed the trade. :( Another lesson learned tho and wouldn't have even seen that this had happened had I not been doing long-term postmortems on my trades to see what the action was well after the trade completed.
