The King has decided to train the 2 branches to remake The Factions, the name of what used to be a group of the most powerful battalions. *P.S. The King has decided to participate in battles, and has become the head of the melee military branch.* *Part 2* The Alliance and the Empire have decided to try to join forces to make another threat similar to the Snake Summoner. As it went last time, they will most likely attack right when we start to recover from the battle. However, we have a plan. The king has a formation set in stone, where the Ranged Unit will sit behind the enemy base to ambush the soldier(s) and support the Melee Unit. If it turns out to be more than just a single soldier the neighboring nations create, we will have to send out the Reapers and Super Boxers. Maybe even the Super Peasant. If this doesn't work, the King will have everyone (including citizens) silently retreat into an underground city underneath the Kingdom.

When the king showed up the balance of power greatly shifted towards melee, as now they had a tank they could get behind to close the gap on the enemy (and said tank also scored quite a few kills themselves).

Let's be honest, if the ranged units included siege weapons like the ballista and hwacha the ranged units would've dominated because they have two units who can kill almost every unit in a single reload. Plus the catapult for aoe against the weak and smaller units.

I'm sorry but the king should have been the very last melee unit added it's honestly not even fair he is multiple tiers above everybody and for the most part he could literally tank and beat the entire ranged team on the melee side

OK I'll revise my point to saying that most of these ranged units cant seem to hit a barn door at point blank range - some of them are literally missing enemies that are lying on the floor in front of them! Couple that with very slow reload times (literally an inexperienced human archer could reload faster than any archer unit here) for some units and the odds are laughably stacked against the ranged team, especially with the great sword melee unit that seems to have an unreasonably high number of hit/health points.
