yeah, for sure. i went out with the kids tonight but only had my iphone so the video didn't really come out that great. we will go back out tomorrow night with the real camera to try to show how well it works. i also need to adjust the light a bit to get it all dialed in

Right on. If I didn’t live near DC and have to drive in the city I probably would have gone full size but this ranger is perfect for me and it’s also easier to fit on the jeep trails

that's a good idea but this plastic just started melting so i think the sander would have done similar. I am going to get a few files out next time i have the grill off and spend a few hours really making it even and looking nice. i am a bit of a perfectionist on a lot of things so the cuts are driving me a little crazy here haha.

Yes. AUX6 is its own thing separate from all of the other lights. If you switch it on, no matter what else is on or off, the circuit will power up (if the truck is on)

That’s crazy. I get a bunch of random messages about seat belts and other random crap but no concerning alerts. What type of things are the alerts telling you?

I have had over 20 cars since I was 16 but only 6 were bought brand new and every one of them had some sort of issue… some big some small. This truck is pretty awesome overall and just has a few little things that have taken a little getting used to. I painted the drive shafts on my own, I’m still waiting on word about the seat upholstery and the sync 4 issues are apparently problematic across Apple CarPlay as a whole based on what I am hearing. It is a bummer for sure and it sounds like you have more issues than me, which sucks. I still love this truck, I spent the day out on the trails with my kids and they were laughing and screaming the whole time in the bed of the truck while we were bouncing around. I focus on the good and try to fix the bad but my dash isn’t creaking so I can’t compare to that

@@flaberdoopin good to hear. If they are able to fix my creaking I’ll live with the other minor issues (more like annoyances). I just hope new things don’t keep popping up…I’d like to keep the truck rather than it being at the dealer all the time. As far as you fixing things yourself, like that rust…why? You paid 60k+ with tax for a brand new truck, you shouldn’t be expected to spend your own time/money to do fixes yourself. For example as far as rust goes, I’m going to see if ford can cover surface rust removal and a rust prevention coating. They did say this is “normal” however that can’t be true, because most rangers delivered don’t have any rust. Just the earlier ones built did, maybe because they sat in rain/flooding which happened in the Michigan factory location (I live 15 min away from the factory).

The dealer said it’s normal and they aren’t gonna help at all so I did it myself. As far as the rest of the stuff I fully intend to keep on the dealer until it’s fixed.

Congrats on the awesome new truck... you are going to love it more and more as you drive it and get through the break in phase.

Dang, that’s a ton of error messages. Hopefully it is just a wiring harness issue that needs to be plugged in. Good luck. What year M4 do you have? If it’s an f8x did you do the crank hub yet?

@@flaberdoopin 2017 no modifications just lowering springs I'm afraid to make it faster that crank hub install isn't cheap

​​⁠gotcha. My M3 wasn’t tuned either cuz I was afraid of the crank hub issue too. 3000 to swap it was a tough pill to swallow
