Yeah man I have a 3.2 manual PX2 Ranger and it’s so much better to drive than the new motor and box. I would trade a bit of towing to have the coil rear end though but I guess that’s why I also have 2 Patrols 😂

i find the 2lt with 10 speed fantastic and i have a 3.2 previously...... towing is so so but i dont need more than 2.5 as im only towing race cars

as we talked about in the vlog its the transfer case. unfortunately a common problem

Transmission sound. Raptor is a piece of junk . Very weak plastic toy.

The stock ones are pretty damned good for stock but you really need proper sliders if you wanna go hard

we where all between 18 and 20psi mate

we litterally say we are all dropping pressures in the beginning of the video.

@@Lukefink Had someone screaming in my ear so must of missed that. There was little to no bagging of the side walls even when the tyres were loaded over sharper rocks. Ranger must be hella light. If that was at 18 I's say you'd be safe to go down to 12psi and then to 8-10psi in the really hairy stuff.

@@Lukefink it looks like you lifted and stiffened the front so much there is hardly any droop travel resulting in frequent front wheel lift especially up hills and resulting in traction loss and loss of forward progress. It also seems you guys generally run tyre pressures too high. Next time try 15 to 18psi in that kind of terrain, you will be amazed at the different.

@@rhetth-s8082 we where running 18psi all day. Fronts have been reset by mikes shock shop who specialises in race and offroad shocks. Fronts about 50mm higher than stock nothing overly exciting. I have owned some pretty serious trucks in my time including a tuff truck on 40s with rear steer etc. We are not beginners at all.. being the expert you are why are you expecting an ifs 4x4 to flex in the front. There character is to lift a wheel its not like a solid axle truck

@@Lukefink well, in that video i see the vehicles baulk at numerous rocks and the tyres dont look like they are flexing much. They look like they are having a tougher time on specific obstacles than they should considering the extent to which they are built.
