Is nobody going to address the Krieder issue???!! That turnover wasnt just a simple mistake or a lapse in judgement, that was a lazy and careless play by Krieder who clearly did not give a shit. He knew he had a guy closing on him, kept his head down and when the puck was knocked away he just watched Scheifele skate away with the puck. Thats something where Krieder should be benched for screwing his team over like that.
@@Djcimofficial True, and for the second half, I think he should be benched for a game if he keeps doing that. I know that he is fantastic, but I think he should learn how to not turn the puck over in situations like that, IMO...
I've posted this many times, here and elsewhere. Kreider is a huge liability when "posessing" the puck. Also, your body language in the 2nd period was a major contrast to how you were in the 1st. It was a mirror of how bad the 2nd was for NYR. If they do somehow make it out of Round 1, that's gonna be it. This team simply cannot drive offensively north with any authority. Everything is east & west and throwing it around the walls. They don't scare anyone 5 on 5.
@patlaffey4687 They might go to 2nd, Carolina has won 4 straight, 8-2 in their last 10 games, this looks like 2nd to me. I do agree with the Lightning comment. They are another team that has won 4 in a row. Bruins, Panthers, Flyers, Avs... that's a pretty hard stretch of games. Let's see how they do.
