As much as I'm not a fan of Andy Halliday for being a Rangers player, his statement about being passionate about football, is absolutely correct. That is exactly what football is all about, people passionate about football and their team whilst having a laugh doing so. Have to admit, on this, he is one of my favourite people on the podcast.

I honestly don't care what team a person supports I grew up I rangers 9 in a row and all but one of my pals were rangers supporters. To that point bar si Andy is my favourite one of the boys. I prefer that people put it out there what team they support. Least you know where you stand with them. Plus there is no hidden agenda with them either. The question about league or europa being better. Last year was different to stop 10, but normal years it was always Europa over league. Anyone that thinks league is deluded. Any Old Firm fan knows that they will see numerous league titles in their lifetimes regardless what team they support. HOWEVER, how many will see their team win a European trophy?
Celtic don’t have the nous in Europe off the ball in terms of maybe wasting time here and there as well as on the ball sometimes the players are maybe thinking to keep it just so the opposition don’t have it the full time

Celtic have beat some top teams they have came up against teams who were not fancied but were very progressive clubs that played good football. But we beat Lazio, Betis, qualified for knockout stages and we can look forward to better times

They forget they threw away a 12 point lead in the table. Pumped out the cup to hibs. Lost the league to Celtic by 6 points. You have a right to be in the final, and good luck to yous. You are asking fans not to celebrate their teams achievement which nobody thought was possible for a Scottish team. That achievement is just reaching the final. Right now we are all on cloud 9, we don't care about the league but can you blame us? The difference in Bayerns Champs League, they have won in the modern day and money matters. Of course it's not a better achievement in modern day. But compared to 67 as I know that's what you are angling to it definitely is. You will disagree and that is ok. Rangers haven't won the trophy yet and actually after watching some Frankfurt games i'm not sure we will but we have a chance on the day.

yes, they aren’t. what it is that if you told rangers fans at the start of the season you could win the europa league and the scottish cup or the league and the league cup, it’s fairly obvious what one they’d choose. the same would apply if the shoe was on the other foot too. obviously disappointing not to win the league and celtic have been far better domestically but europa league win would top everything all things considered.
