Getting rid of ageing and injury prone player's in the summer and replacing with younger player's with potential, is the right way forward. We just need to give them regular games and patience to allow their value to increase. Squad lacks some experience to help young player's e.g. Barron could benefit from a Davis type midfielder. Hopefully Koppen is on the look out for more hidden gems from around the globe.
Cannot believe we are actually so short all over considering the amount of quality free agents that were on the market and still are, Andre Gomes, deli Ali? Surely worth a one year deal, or even Ryan Jack would have done a job, unbelievable and unacceptable
Absolutely agree with Clement on recruitment. Must be incredibly difficult to replace half the squad when those that leave are for free or for next to nothing. New model should see some good returns going forward. Need to shift Dowell, Hagi, Lawrence and Tav in January
Look at other clubs that use this model, Porto, Celtic, Brighton, Southampton, etc etc Then have a look at the "quantity" they buy & how many get in the first team, over say a 10 year period. In world football in general it's roughly 70% of transfers don't work out. It's "VERY" hard to do in small numbers.
@@camdenbhoy6192Think it pays to be shopping in different markets rather than the English leagues. You’ve been pretty successful in the Asian market although I agree not all of them have been a success. Will take time. Doesn’t happen overnight.
@@camdenbhoy6192 Agree with you and even though you’ve found some decent players from the Asian market you’ve had a few from their who haven’t been deemed good enough and moved on.
The strategic mistake David Murray made, when upgrading Ibrox, was to not to extend the seating capacity to 60,000+ The time is right to do so now because we have a waiting list of fans desperate for a season book. The fans should fund at least 50% of the cost of this work, in exchange for Rangers Shares, increasing fan ownership of the club. We need to improve the academy system so that we introduce a couple of academy players into the first team every 6 months.
King should've gone on loan but he's on £8k a week and nobody wants to pay his wages. Salford were interested in him a few weeks back....Salford. likewise Rice and Lovelace haven't progressed as they should.😊
Are youth system by n large has been absolutely sub standard for as long as I remember and I’m only 34. It needs to be addressed because the quality by n large of first team really players has been woeful.
As long as we continue to treat OUR players like Hagi we can forget it under this manager. Raskin lack of game time despite looking good is appalling too. The guy is picking players out with ability . It’s a joke .
@@Bulldog55 Hagi tried to tout himself to other clubs in the summer and showed zero loyalty to the club. Let him play in the reserves and get him punted. Nowhere near as good as he and his dad think he is
Excellent idea aye, lets go and hire a guy whos achieved nothing in his career, sets up his team like steve clarke, 10 men behind the ball, and has recently been spanked 5-0 and 4-0 off celtic. Brillant idea m8, it really is
Rangers managers introduce a young player and they show well then never seen again. Think Tynecastle under Gio, Bailey Rice another. All you do is dangle the carrot then demotivate the players. Awful
Accies, when they were producing McCarthy, McArthur etc. purposefully pulled a player from the first team as part of their development. It was to test their resilience and determination and to keep them hungry.
I would agree up until Koppen and Clement came in. Some real good young prospects and no real duds so far which isn’t like Beale when nearly all were duds
