Man, I laughed at the Rangers (and the Astros and Mariners, because no one wanted to win that division) over the last couple of months of the season, because of how pathetic they were during that time, but they’ve really turned it around. Smoked the Rays and Orioles, and won a tight game against the Astros. Currently undefeated still. Crazy good run for the Rangers so far. I’m also happy for Seager. Hope he wins another WS.

Rangers looked locked in and got a critical game 1 win on the Astro's turf. Evan Carter in particular was great in left field all night. The home plate umpire did a really nice job as well. Imagine what this Rangers team could do with a healthy deGrom as well.

And gave long-term contracts to #99, Aaron "I fell in Love with strikeouts and double-plays, instead of delivering absolute clutch 2-out base hits with Runners-In-Scoring-Position" Judge. Texas Rangers fans, thank you for educating me and all of my fellow Yankees fans that having a few down seasons and rebuilding both the farm system full of infield/outfield positional and pitching talent and signing key veterans who desire winning above their personal statistics is truly important. Biggest story of the Rangers this Offseason is Evan Carter but man, the pitching is easily the true #1 story. This bullpen was just AWFUL all season long. We would often get 6 run leads and not even that was good enough. The bullpen would come in and just get crushed. Now? Suddenly, besides Chapman, our relievers are unhittable. It's nuts. It's amazing. Pure magic happening out there for the Rangers who lost 90 games last season and 100 the season before. Now we are shutting out the Astros in the ALCS. Crazy
