i think this has been my favourite video from you in a long time, for two reasons; the vibes were off the charts, just friendly competition with kenzo, no sniping or hacking conspiracies, just how youd race with your friends back when you were children. and second, since its an ongoing process its generally less noticable, but in this video i realized how much youve actually improved since i started watching all those years ago when you had 22k subs. you changed your aimstyle completely, no more risky flicks on every shot to microadjust, and it looks a lot cleaner now, feels that way, too. much love

The way Arrge plays is so calculated and methodical. Truly blessed that we have a Hanzo sensei of this caliber. Hanzo is easily (in my opinion) the worst hero in this game. Because he has a bow and arrow in an FPS setting. Really hard hero to master and Arrge makes him look like the most broken hero in the game. Shit is ABSOLUTELY insane 💯🔥

Hanzo definitely has more edge in lots of maps because of his mobility. Widow has to rely on her grapple for mobility while Hanzo can just climb walls

They're both sick sniper mains and OW content creators. I like to do analyses on matchups like this comparing players with similar heroes, hero pools, or playstyles. I think it's tough to say who's really better but I think I'd have to end up going with Arrge. Kenzo has ridiculous hitscan aim that translates to a wider hero pool for him, but I'd say he's got Widow as his best easily, and a solid Ashe/Hanzo backup with adequate flex heroes on other hitscans and Genji. Arrge has Hanzo with an infrequent but decent flex with Soldier. With hitscan mechanics I think Kenzo obviously takes that, and there's not many of his caliber when it comes to pure hitscan. Arrge however, has so much time on Hanzo, that despite Kenzo's skill still holding a lot of weight on Hanzo, he's got the mechanic advantage. But more than that, when you basically one-trick Hanzo, you're playing him against heroes and comps, and on maps that often don't favor him on paper. He's not trapped in Counterwatch and has countless hours of experience with nearly every matchup. He knows all the ins and outs of his hero, all the techs, the maps and their environments. So his Hanzo takes the cake there. But in their respective hero pools against each other it's more complex. Kenzo still has enough experience on his hero pool that he isn't entirely written off against Arrge's Hanzo. He still has several heroes with different strengths, especially when taking the map or point into consideration. Still, his Widow is certainly his best matchup in most cases against Arrge on Hanzo. Where I think Kenzo falls short, and not just against Arrge, but his biggest weakness in general, is his positioning. He's certainly not "all aim/no brain," but his positioning and strategy in his games is nothing exemplary if we're strictly comparing with GM or T500 players. He does tend to play a bit like a sentry turret sniper where his aim allows him to succeed in doing so. His biggest strength along with his aim is his dueling capabilities like you see with that sick kill on the Tracer on 2nd point. He's great at taking the mechanical duel and wins far more than he loses. However, he's definitely falls victim to tunnel vision in some pretty poor spots that aren't even really "spots" or "angles." He'll just be kind of standing in the open out of cover when a target or threat demands his attention, often hard scoped for upwards of 5 seconds at a time, which is an eternity in high rank games. This is usually when he'll get killed/sniped from a different direction by a different target like a grappling Widow, or a Hanzo doing some parkour shots. He defends alright against someone trying to beat him with positioning, but rarely tries to use it to his advantage and favors relying on aim. Arrge has the mechanics on Hanzo to compete against Kenzo's Widow, but he also has the strategy and won't default to taking the aim duel unless it seems necessary. So I think that's where he comes out ahead. Arrge's evasive movement is also much better. Without taking the map into consideration, I'd say Kenzo's advantage in terms of team vs team as opposed to 1v1, is that his sentry-esque playstyle on Widow commands a lot of respect for his LOS, and if you don't respect it like you see Arrge's supports not doing often here, they get domed. But that was poor play on the supports peaking so long or even fully playing in Kenzo's LOS when his location is apparent. Better players wouldn't have given him those shots, but they would be forced into passive positioning and likely getting less value. Arrge doesn't like to camp in one spot or on one target for too long and repositions often. He's less likely to command the same respect for his LOS and deny those large areas/sightlines, but more likely to get easy kill opportunities and cause sudden, often times, untimely threats/distractions to enemies even without a kill. All things factored in this matchup, I'd say strictly in an Arrge vs Kenzo matchup, (not necessarily better player) Arrge wins this for me at around a 59/41 split.
