I’ve realized what makes a good doom player is by picking your targets and constant positioning. If a player masters this, better believe that doom is wasp, not a fly

This doomfist the amount of times he missed his punches that could have been cancelled or that one payload punch made my brain hurt

You should duo with Necros sometime, I think it would be cool seeing a top genji and top doomfist play together

I’m currently sitting at diamond 1 on console pretty much one tricking doom and I’ve been climbing rapidly this season but I just haven’t been playing tank as much. Id say this is silver or gold at best. The biggest indicator to me was the enemy team never really punished mistakes. They also would stun squishies with charge punch and wouldn't finish them or waste meteor strike

Honestly, I don't know why people give Mercy credit for requiring awareness/positioning when literally every hero in the game requires those two things as well.

I think what he means by combo extension is using ult for increased ability CD while I'm the air and coming back down to try to cycle combo. Weirdly it's talking about doom the same way ppl talk about orisa where there's just a rotation of abilities you follow and that's doing your job. The reason that this is something Zbra doesn't understand is because Doom's strength comes from the player being able to read the fight and tactically use those abilities to shape a fights flow. This "combo extension" idea just shows that someone is misreading where Doom's strengths truly lie.

No way this Doomfist watches ZBRA and is gold or above. Positioning, aiming, cooldown cycling, combos, out of spawn rollouts. So many things need so much work. It's like they never played this hero.
