You win - Nothing changes You lose - They'll blame the team Timi should just give a big warning when people use certain items on certain characters. Or even blacklist those items. Tutorial is bs.

Yeah this is really good point. The majority of players have been going through this for 2 years now, but the highest tier players are playing a completely different game to everyone else 90% of the time. It's good that they're getting to experience how insane of a mess the game is most of the time, maybe TiMi will pay attention to them because they aren't listening to us, even if we're in masters.

Playing Pokémon unite this season is the equivalent to being crazy… Crazy, I was crazy once. They locked me in a room. A rubber room. And made my whole team pick attackers. And attackers drive me crazy.

It's so beautiful seeing Cris farm on Mew, so many trick shots and efficiency especially with Solar Beam and boosted autos. I'd never have reached level 13 that game lol

For the first few months I also thought Char was a special attacker because fire looks a special attack move. I had to guess which mon was attack and sp att based. Most of the new player don't even notice that type of attack was written over the mons and I did too. Timi can seperate sp attack and attack type mons so new players won't get confused about attack and sp att held items.

Back in release, I remember they didnt even mention which mon scales off what. When I look at flamethrower/fire blast charizard, I thought they were scaled on sp atk because thats how it works in the main game.

Charizard litetally has higher special attack in the main series, it makes no sense for Charizard to be attack based. The same applies to Duraludon, which also makes no sense. Greninja and Zoroark at least look like they’d be physical attackers despite having higher special attack

But then you can't build Muscle Band on Special attackers, like Elde. Also they do differentiate now, people just don't look at the words Attack or Sp. Attack. There's also example builds you can copy so there's really no excuse for this kind of thing, imo. It's just laziness to not look at what your character does well. Building Specs on Glaceon, suboptimal but acceptable. Building Weight on Glaceon, no go.

@@hisen3.146Well, you had to pick the worst example when talking about Muscle Band. Eldegoss common build has actually Muscle Band, and even other special attackers like Glaceon also runs Muscle Band because it's an item it fitd well on those two (Elde to play aggresively and Glaceon for obvious reasons, keep in mind boosted attacks are not always physical on every mon). I get the point, don't get me wrong, but that also happens when the playerbase doesn't learn about the synergy between the Pokémon and the held items. It doesn't take that much to see if X item fits well on Y Pokémon or not, but most of them are not eager to learn and just they slap the first they see

The most unreal thing happened to me yesterday in a match. At 2:40, half of my team broke the enemy tier 2 base with regieleki, then proceeded to go to their main base and try to score, and they successfully scored, but then they all just proceeded to fight there and die, and I was just shocked at their stupidity

The thing i hate the most about this game is that you're playing a babysitting simulator, you are supposed to both farm in order to scale and be at objectives, it's also surprising that a huge amount of the player base has litle to no map awareness.

That's why we need a better ranking system, that duo belongs to veteran or even lower. Getting into Master should be at least as hard as getting to 1800, you can't get there with a negative winrate.

The WP blastoise seemingly dropped their drain crown on blastoise after I berated them in queue. But I think they still do not get the ATK/SpATK split

Actually SpAtk pokemon do have physical attack in their first two basic attack before their Auto except for some of them. The weakness policy still provide something to blastoise stats & gameplay in the end even it's common knowledge to not play it on SpAtk pokemon. That being said, that player played the game really bad. The only thing he did right in the end is scoring 100 points. XD

pokemon unite: the only game where no matter who wins, everyone loses good players on losing teams have losses that dont reflect their effort, and bad players on winning teams continue to play with bad habits because they won

This is the reason I haven't consistently played Unite since the week before Urshifu came out (a looong time ago). Every now and then I come back, in the hope that it is any better. Unfortunately, everytime I do, there's broken mons (Zacian, Mewtwo...) and ALL of my teammates (regardless of rank) pick those random useless builds. Every. Single. Game. Leftovers/Shell Bell/Choice specs Char in jungle, Exp share/Assault vest/Leftovers junglers... and the list is endless...

Last day I was playing at a very high rank, say top 3000-4000 and not did i only get paired up with 1-2 ultra players so many times (and of course always on the left side of the team) but also I got paired up with a mamoswine that literally died once in 9:00 and stood the whole game on T0 spamming “thanks!” Without doing anything but move just so we still loose elo, and the worst thing was that we won, and that mamoswine did not only get an undeserved win but also go unpunished, I felt so bad for that, like you actually put so much effort into those games and have to constantly adapt and these players just do nothing and get the same treatment as you or even a better one bc of the match-up system

You showcased our pain.. 3 reason I lost matches 99% time this season (1) My Duo q and Trio q r like mostly garbage aside from very few and opponent have like einstein level iq group (2) My teams mewtwo Y r always clueless and opponent highest mmr always mewtwoY I never play that pokemon.. I have my dignity (3) Lapras needs a nerf I am suffering pain quite a lot especially between 1400 snd 1600 😢😔

Cris i am sorry you dealt with this sorry hand of players. My friends were these type of players. They wouldn’t rotate, know what certain held items did, and used score and potion. I learned from what they did and read/watched everything I could. Ignorance is bliss and now I am hurting of knowing that my team are not playing well or right. 😭

It took me some time to realize that Sp..Atk damage is displayed in _purple_ while other damage is displayed in _red._ (all of my favorite Mons are physical Attack based) Sometimes the difference doesn't even make sense -- e.g. Delphox's basic is physical except its boosted which is special?

Tried it but didn't work. I pick the owl when I see there are already three attackers/speedsters to force someone to pick a defender, if someone does then I also pick a tank but haven't work. I tried changing my items to full special attack with goal getter and it only reduced the chances of someone picking a tank.

Bro i consider the gengar build good because of what i am seeing my teammates use i played a game today with a zeraora that has a blue ribbon his item were muscle band score shield and razor claw and potion and finished with 0 ko's and lets talk about my whole other three teammates who all choose attackers i played crustle and i tried so hard to win but even with 11 ko's it wasn't enough

The only way to win this games is to have a mass attacker to push your team. I usually take gengar and have at least 10+kills while trying to get all bottom regis or just destroy oppenments with hex. But its fruatrating. Usually gold scrubs do always the same farm farm farm and wonder why they have a 45percent winrate

You feel bad about a comeback. What about having a "decent" team and then get beaten cause they got overconfident and threw the win. I wish the understand the risk and consequences of fighting in the 2nd enemy goal (get killed and give then free exp) and losing the goals for not protecting them.
