Biggest lesson i learnt in 2024 in the stock market is that nobody knows what is going to happen next, so practice some humility and follow a strategy with a long term edge.
Nobody knows anything; You need to create your own process, manage risk, and stick to the plan, through thick or thin, While also continuously learning from mistakes and improving.
Uncertainty... it took me 5 years to stop trying to predict what bout to happen in market based on charts studying, cause you never know. not having a mentor cost me 5 years of pain I learn to go we’re the market is wanting to go and keep it simple with discipline.
My CFA ’ANGELA LYNN SCHILLING’ , a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further. She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.
@@JKJK-lw8rm I would ask you as a Saints fan though, if they bottom out would you want them to hit the reset button? They would be 88 mil over the cap going into 2025 so they are always kicking the can down the road with Loomis and it's been a minute since they have been to the playoffs. May be time for them to think about starting a new era.
Cool to see the IDL is coming back strong haven't had that since those classes with Q, Dexy, ETC. And it seems like a lot of the best defenses have that beast in the middle.
@@adrianbuck8772 agreed. There seems like there are a handful of teams that have those dudes and the other good Defensive play callers like Gannon in Arizona are looking for those guys.
Depth yeah. That 2019 class was fucking STUPID Simmons, Wilkins, Quinnen, Dex. Bosa, Allen, Crosby, Burns also as edges. Generational defensive line class. The 4 interior guys are all top 8ish in the whole league and edges 2 top 5, one top 10, and the other like 15-20ish
An hour and 30-minute episode on defensive tackles is why I watch summer scouting. Also, Aeneas Peebles will be a game wrecker for Virginia Tech this year. He was an All-ACC performer last year with Duke and should see some more one-on-ones this year with how good techs Dline is.
Trevor, Ohio State fans will be mad at you. It isn't how high you have their players that matters; it's that you have Michigan players OVER OSU players. There's no winning. (I'm not an OSU or Michigan fan/alum but it IS the biggest rivalry in college football)
Could we get some RU-vid shorts with profiles on of the special teams positions after the main summer scouting is over? Sorry to ask but I’m already thinking, I’m gonna need dose of stock exchange on the ready once summer scouting is over 😮💨
Hoping this time next year we're talking about Cross making his debut with the Giants as a legacy pick. Need someone next to Dex who can penetrate and exploit the attention Dex demands inside. Phillips is a stop gap and the recent picks they've made on the DL are more of the massive people eating run stuffers. The biggest hole on the D outside CB2 is definitely 3tech.
I agree with ya. I kinda hope we can get both Norte Dame kids lol. Probably won’t since we’ll focus on maybe QB and maybe CB or OL in the early rounds next year.
@joeafricano9270 I hope we're not drafting early enough to take a QB early man lmao. It was so deflating for the season to be dead before October. Right now looks like theres only a few options early for QB but theyll be top 10 picks by then, worth it or not. Maybe take a Riley Leonard or Cam Ward type that Daboll can work with. Longshot but Noah Fifita from arizona is a dog, if he was a bit bigger he would he the guy who makes the Jaden Daniels leap to top 5 pick from zero national buzz. Reminds me of Johnny Football to Mike Evans w that monster Tmac just mushing everyone. Tmac is an early 1st round pick for sure, Fifita will fall cause he is really really fkn small. Doubt we get both, but theres a need for a 5 and 3 tech. Unless Ryder Anderson makes some Victor Cruz level UDFA jumps we really don't have good depth there. Hoping we dont have to go OL early and Bricillo was able to help Neal progress, and Ezeudu/McKethan are solid depth but that would be a minor miracle.
@@mtndewit 100% agree. I hope to be somewhat of a 8-9 team to show we are just a few pieces away from winning big. If QB is a must I wouldn’t hate trying for a Riley Leonard type guy. I haven’t watch much college football last year so I’m not sure about Carson Beck or Shedeur Sanders. But I’m not sold on them completely to go in the top ten pick area. I would love to maybe even trade back a bit and gather some picks to get more depth depending where we are and how needy some teams are for a qb. I think Raiders and Seahawks are the two also potentially looking at the draft. So could give us some space to play around some options instead of just picking a guy to pick. I kinda hope Giants go free angency with OL I just like veteran guys instead of rookies since we always seem to mess up with that except for Andrew Thomas. Hope we can get a really good CB2 or one of our current guys make a leap. But I always thought getting someone next to Dex would make our DL top 10 to maybe even top 5. Burns could make us top 10 but until I see it I’m going to hold off from saying anything.
@@mtndewitas not a Giants fan I don't think the season will be over in October for you guys. Having a true outside receiver is going to make their offense more explosive (even though Saquon will sting) and there are a ton of good pieces on D. Just need to stay healthy this year.
Listening to New Heights, Jason always called the innermost guy the Nose Guard in an odd front. The men on his left/right are Defensive Tackles. That mirrors the OL much better.
I figured he would be asked about here. I think he's a decent all-around player, with a higher athletic ceiling but Texas A&M's defense didn't really give him a home position to thrive, and his lack of nuance and pass rush plan showed because of it. He was thinking too much in 2023, and that showed up in how long it took for him to shed blocks and the lack of true violence in his game. Just isn't a difference maker in his current state. Still young, obviously
Bear Alexander went to my high school for his senior year. Couldn’t play due to transfer rules, went to IMG for a bit of that year, but I always thought that was wild
Every PFF mock I did last year as Houston, I’d grab Howard Cross in the middle rounds (obviously before he declined to declare). Houston will need to grab a DT high next year.
Low key the Jets could use a legit non Quinnen IDL. They have skimped on that position for the last couple of years and having someone on a rookie contract would behoove them.
The closest thing i can think of in the NFL to Deone Walker’s calves is Laremy Tunsil. Tunsil is only 315, but his calf size makes ZERO SENSE. And honestly, Walker is built more like an LT than a DT.
I just didn't love him as an NFL difference maker in his current state. A&M's defense didn't really give him a good home position, and it felt like he lacked anticipation and pass rush plans because of it -- just didn't really get off blocks as quickly or as consistently as he needed to. He could take a big step forward in 2024, but he needs that to be a legit prospect for the next class.
You guys gotta go watch the Iowa DT’s, Aaron Graves and Yahya Black Graves had 3 sacks in Iowa’s season opener today High school wrestler, school all-time leader in points in basketball, shot put records, Gatorade player of the year in Iowa his senior year 6’3” 300lbs, probably a bit shorter than that but yoked
Took me a min to get through the vid while cross referencing pff data but overall I feel both have a firm grip on this class of interior line except maybe some exceptional athletes with no plan.
I am def worried about the size with Cross, but I think he is much more instinctual than Mata'afa. I also think Cross has more of a home on the interior where Mata'afa fluctuated weight and they tried him all over the place.
He has some length limitations, but I am excited to watch him because his PFF grades were really good last year. If he can have similar success at L'ville we'll def be talking about him more
