Honestly a fair assessment for most of the games up here. Personally tho, I do feel like Wuthering Waves should be ranked #1 because there’s more buzz about it than the other two in top. And we know it’s coming out this sooner as well, giving it more time to update and improv before the others come out. Just an opinion tho, definitely open for others to share wha they think. At the end of the day it’s a good year for mobile games.
Definitely think WuWa could be no.1 here. They have a fixed release date, they have patched the game according to community feedbacks, people love the mehanics so its here for the long run. We just have a lot of confirmation about WuWa than any other games on this list and that is the reason it should be ranked higher according to me.
@@saintlydemon15 See, I can 100% agree with that. And that’s nothing against the other games either but like, WuWa is definitely hot right now and is the one everyone is eying on at the moment. The other games would need to spark more attention somehow, and it’s totally understandable if they can’t yet just cos they’re still under heavy development phases still too. Then again, it’s a tier list from a person’s opinion, so they’re free to share it.
@@Riceisgood777 'according to me'. Just giving my opinion on his rankings. Am I allowed to do that bro? I know it is his video but we can surely present our arguments right?
The big 3 were some very good picks. Excited for ZZZ the most but I do hope they truly listened to the feedback. I also forgot all about Project Mugen so I do hope that’s a banger too🔥
Zenless Zone Zero is honestly less impressive the more I see it. It's combat is fine, but not as good as I was hoping it would be, the urban life aspect seems bland, and the whole TV screen dungeon system is just boring. If they truly want to make the combat more "dynamic", they need to go full on Devil May Cry with it. Take what they did from "A Post Honkai Odyssey" and ramp it up to 11.
ZZZ gets carried by it's animation fluidity IMO, it honestly shows how Hoyoverse has improved in this regard, my question would be, how much longer can Hoyoverse get carried by animations/cutscenes and stuff until people start saying "It's like a movie... But that's about it."? IMO ZZZ aimed to be just a graphical upgrade of the Genre. HI3 and specially PGR Gameplay/Combat is enjoyable AF but since the story is AK style most of the time (meaning it's visual novel style), people get intimidated and choose the more appealing option, even if the gameplay isn't all that much. Because I'm gonna be real, when people compare HI3 and PGR and the vastly superior number of community in HI3 says that HI3 is better, I had to check it out and I understood that it's a matter of animation vs gameplay, I see A LOT of video reactions to HI3 animated cutscenes but rarely any gameplay on the actual game, in PGR case it's the same but with gameplay, A LOT of reactions to the combat but not many people actually playing the game and my take on this is that: If I want to see a cinematic spectacle, I'd choose HI3 while if I were looking purely at gameplay, I'd choose PGR. Where does ZZZ fall in all of this? Well, I honestly think that if they just copy the combat intensity of PGR with the superior animation fluidity of Hoyoverse, ZZZ would beat most game releases in all aspects because I have never believed in this "Catering to casual players" thing, it's a thing of fame, if Hoyoverse were to release a difficult game, they would get the same traffic they get in any other normal game release, people will still play and enjoy it while calling games like PGR "A game focused to the hardcore community".
Damn, what a huge rant xD let me summarize: "ZZZ looks good, crazy good, the but while the gameplay is good, it's also nothing to ditch any of the big names in this genre."
FIRST! :D I'm excited to play a few of these, but I'm most excited for Azur Promilia. The combat looks great, I like the Harvest Moon/Rune Factory like aspect of the game, and the Pokémon like system will definitely be addictive. Super excited for it
Same, the first Rune Factory game I ever played on PS3 was soooo much fun and I played so many Pokémon games growing up. The fact it’s mixing 2 games I love has me so excited for Azur Promilia.
It baffles me how no one wonders if the story in the game is good. Like yeah gameplay is important, but for example hoyoverses' games, especially genshin, are a story driven game. It annoys me when i have to sit through the most boring quests just because devs don't care enough about good writing. I just started Wuthering Waves today and the strory will probably kill the game for me. Its not really good tbh
It’s just the beginning and they do have a lot of downs when it comes to introducing the lore here they kind of dumped everything as u go on u can tell there’s a story to tell it seems the pacing was terrible, very rushed. I’d give it a chance since the DEVS are willing to listen and make changes besides they r developers of PGR which is doing really well rn have been improving every patch. If you liked the gameplay I suggest staying a lil bit or coming back when they’ve patched things up
Its videogame and gacha a that, where you'll find bit of story that's mildly to your liking over its course where majority of your time'll be spent on gameplay. I also left GI a while back where skip part was one of the contributing factor.
Wuthering Waves is still my most-hyped gacha. The only thing that'll deter me from it is Kuro not treating it with love like PGR. Endfield looks promising as well, it's a good entry-point to experience Arknights. Tried the original game but the new player experience seek confusing. As for Azure Promelia, it's interesting but I'm not one to get hooked just by eye candies. I need more than just gameplay videos and trailers. With that being said, it looks interesting but seems like it's not my cup of tea as the devs seem to go with the all waifu simulator route which breaks world-building amd immersion for me. What I'm curious about is, which game has the best combat considering the fact that many of these games seem to be fast-paced hack and slash gacha. If Promelia, ZZZ, and the others managed to surpass WW or PGR in combat, then maybe I'll change my kind. But for now, combat takes priority for me. Along with mature lore and story. And WW seem to have that.
Project Mugen used to be my Top 1 most excited game, but Azur Promilia changed my mind after I saw all its great features. It's like a combination of all the things I love in games
Exactly the same for me. Project Mugen has a great theme but after I saw Azur Promilia’s beautiful open world, character design, the ability to fly and use monsters to build a farm/base, it really showed off how unique it’s trying to be.
just wanted to put my opinion 1.wuthering waves 2.Endfield /Azur Promilia im a fan of the more dark looking games but Endfields gameplay is kinda mehhhh for me and if i had to put one at three its gonna be azur promilia cuz no one tryed it and saw how it feels so imma keep my hopes down for now ill let them cook then see
Many of you keep saying Wuthering Waves should be higher and fall to realize that this list doesn't reflect you or the hype of the game, it reflects Chaotcs excitement. So nothing should be higher or lower. Just make your own list showing what you are excited for instead of telling him what he should have instead.
Reading the comments here makes one thing very clear... it is an exciting time to be a gacha gamer! Everyone has their own opinion of the game they are most looking forward to. Many agree on the top 3 but in different orders, while others put different games up on top. 2024/25 is going to be the best time ever for the genre! 😃
Wuthering Waves is the one for me, but I'm also excited for Azur Promilia. As someone who stayed with PGR since release, I'm very comfortable with Kuro Games, even if WW has a slow start.
Arknights Endfield for its base building and more down to earth graphic aproach, Wuthering Waves for I HOPE exciting and not endless boring combat and Azur Promillia (and here I am honest) for combat with hot girls. These 3 are very much on my radar.
I absolutely agree with this list start to finish and normally id put endfield at #1 but AP seems much further in development then AE however still excited for most of these games.
3:10 hard disagree. I actually love it when gacha servers dont release at the same time such as the case with gf2(same with pgr) since that has often been the case with many gachas until hoyo made it so that every server was now being updated at the same time with genshin, star rail and then zzz, and everyone else started copying them. why do I prefer the former? because lets not forget that these are gacha games where we either spend our hard earned cash or freemium currency from months of daily grinding to pull for characters. so having full information on upcoming characters kits and their release orders from the original server(be it from cn, jp or kr usually) months ahead of the global version makes it so we make informed decisions on who to best pull for without getting blindly influenced by hype.
Personally, Arknights Endfield and Azur Promilia are the games I am looking forward to getting my hands on. With AK Endfield specifically I hope they manage to translate the story, interesting plot and world building that OG AK has into the semi-open world 3D setting of Endfield.
I agree with some of the stuff you said about Mugen, however, I personally would rank it higher, solely due to anticipation. lol, it’s a scary thing, like atp, I’m thinking I’ll like it even more than ZZZ lol. I agree with some of the other stuff, besides a few games that I just don’t particularly like and differing ranking, but we all have diff tastes so 🤷♀️ The only thing I’m surprised about is the fact you put AP first 😭 I mean we literally JUST heard about it. I’m just…idk, really confused why it’s N.1. Like I said, anticipation is a scary thing. Oh well, I just want more games lol.
All in all, while WuWa will be a complete delight to play, I still cannot comprehend how underrated was the final boss fight of the Arknights Endfield CBT, that shit was peak performance, I have such massive faith in AKE it's unbelievable, AK storytelling was The Best already IMO, but the visual novel style probably pushed many people away, that would be fixed in AKE though.
endfield is my first place for me. really looking forward what HG cooking after the first test and WuWa but mainly i looking forward the final version of the game. this game have a lot of weight on its shoulder ngl. and for other title, i can not decide yet and need more information. will keep my eyes on them
I can't wait for Wuthering Waves, Duet night abyss, Project Mugen, Zenless Zone Zero and Arknights End field. I signed up for the ZZZ PS5 technical test so I hope i get in. I wasn't a fan of arknights because I'm not a fan of tower defense but i love the story
Imo I think wuthering waves should be at 2 at the very least Endfields gameplay loop looks very boring to me with a combat system that felt very stiff Probably would've placed it at the end of the list IMO but that could be b/c its very niche and isn't for me
What many of you fall to realize its that this list is based on his excitement, not yours. He is more excited for Endfield and has even created a channel dedicated to the developers. Only reason I say this is because you're saying something should be higher when that list reflects his excitement. He likes #1 and #2 more than Wuthering Waves, so it shouldn't be higher.
Azur promilia, wuthering waves and AK endfield I'm excited for. As for what I'm excited for the most is azur promilia because it's from the company of the mobile game i love which is azur lane.
Dha definitely wafting for a gacha game that can fucked up genshin for good Azur promilia and wuthering waves. Thank you for information now i am also looking forward for Ark nights and end fields.
I'm all about the combat and WuWa has already proven itself on that aspect, so easy top 1 for me. DNA looks like #2 for me. Too early to tell but maybe ZZZ could be in the top #3 spot but the whole mini-games bit already has me worried, hopefully they're not too significant in terms of rewards.
definitely waiting for Wuthering Waves because it should be having exciting gameplay as PGR... + open world, unlike the other game i knew.. and maybe ill check out ZZZ if it can compete with Aether Gazer and PGR in terms of their Level-based [i forgot the term.. closed stage?] gameplay... though i dont have high hopes from Hoyo now from what i see from ZZZ..
Ive been meaning to figure out what are rhe vames coming in april-may. This was a great reminder and update on a lot ofgames ive been keeping an eye in fkr a while. Thank you. 4-5 games dont seem to be coming out until way later in the year or somewhere next hear i guess? So maybe Zen less zone zero might make an appearance soon after their testing, maybe? Not sure. That only leaves wuthering waves in may 22 😂 as a guarantee. Very nice. I could have sworn there were supposed to be other gachs games coming in april or may, but maybe im misremembering
It's gonna be between Azure Promilia and Wuthering Waves. The deciding factor between these will be the type and amount of end game content they offer. Which one wins depends on the amount and quality of the infinitely randomized, non repetitive, innovative end game content which worth to log in for 2-3 hours every day for years. A 15 min worth of story addition alongside a new unit and a reused mini game per update isn't gonna sell a game, not to me at least. I need long term quality, randomized content where I can actually use the units I pulled for, built and love. Which game gonna meet these requirements I don't know. Maybe both. Maybe none, then I continue waiting.
Personally I'm only looking forward too ZZZ ,however im worried about TV system and combat, I dont want nor need an open world game and the whole base building aspect of AK endfield isnt appealing but im willing to jump in when it releases who knows i might get surprised.
Definitely Arknights: Endfield! Some say building characters there is not much of a hassle, unlike the Hoyo games, simply like the main game itself, Arknights. I think this is because of the base feature with all those factories and machinery. I'd be glad to play games like that because just like Arknights, once you max out an operator, that operator is permanently reliable and usable, it's just the stage mechanics that decide the fate of my gameplay.
Kind of surprised there is only 3D anime rpgs, when there is a very hyped game that will be as impactful as AKF journey right now. With amazing pixel art, amazing story telling that can be lead to different endings, I'd say Sword of Convallaria is worth mention, the game has been released in china but its doing better than GFL2 lol and it already released its demo on steam.
Because this is a list of games I'm excited about. I'm not excited for that game. I don't care about what is more popular or how well a game is doing. This is based on my excitement alone.
I know its my take as my opinion, but WuWa is my top due to the release getting near, like this is the underdog that some like me hope to win against Genshin to have its footing on the genre. While not playing Genshin, i think this will be a healthy competition towards Genshin Impact to up their game since i am not that hype towards it, like its good? But not that wowwwww good. Like they been slacking i feel. WuWa will have its on fair share of issues, tho i do hope people would remember to compare the game to the release version of Genshin, not the current version of it. Maybe like a few months after release Genshin vs release WuWa. Azure Pomilia, i am not that kinda hyped? I mean as much it looks good it seems a bit, well strange waters for me, like its the adds i see in fb that i tame monster ride it and it feels clunky. Plus it did announce only, tho like Mugen, i am not sure how to put it atm Arknights endfiled ohhh that game, i haven't remembered it since i rarely see any news about it but man it still looka good. Btw no duet night abyss?
@@IAMCha0tik my bad!!! Man, i dont know what happened, like a while ago i was watching gransaga segment then its on girls Frontline!!😂😂😂 Sorry bout that!
@@reazon3955 sorry but i will be real with you on this, i dont really care about lore in most gacha games. I mean yeah its cool but sometimes its kinda boring. Tho i do understand it is indepth as my brother did say
i currently wait for 3 gacha games: zzz, wuthering waves and azur promila. wuthering waves cuz gameplay looks like it will be at least a bit more demanding than genshin's use ult, change character and repeat. azur promila because it looks just like genshin when i first played it: game with unlimited potential and stunning graphics. About zzz, i got into the newest beta test and here is my opinion: Overall game if fun, story is average, maybe a bit above average. The style is not my kind because i preffer fantasy setting but graphic wise it's good. I need to talk above this tv section, it's not as bad as people make it, for me it's actually fun and doesn't take you long to finish, and most of the gameplay outside main story is 80% fighting. But my problem currently is that it's as easy as genshin, i just spam lmb and dodge and i never even lost 1 character in a fight, i know that the few last "spiral abyss"/"simulated universe" levels are harder but itk if it will be enough for me to keep playing.
The ONLY thing i hate about a lot of these is the stupid stamina bar, they gotta have way more mobility options if they're gonna give these games a stamina bar. This is why i gave up on genshin, i like exploring and all but i want to move fast while i do it.
Azur Promilia is the best of both worlds (heck I can even say ALL WORLDS) : Have QTEs, Perfect Evades, etc but not sweaty as WuWa or other Souls-like games (not too easy, not too hard) Open World (*sigh* I don't want to mention THAT game) PETS AND MOUNTS (SAY NO MORE) ALL WAIFU (like Azur Lane, Nikke and BA, insta-gatekeep from unwanted people)
My big 3 are probably ZZZ, Wuthering Waves, and Kingdom hearts missing link! Most excited for Missing Link probably since KHUX was the first gacha i genuinely cared about and sunk money into. the action combat of ML looks quite good and i vaguely hope they move away from the pokemon go ass style. i love pokemon go for just pokemon
dark world with destruction and sadge and what ever... every gacha game now have this motive. star rail still is take of fresh air in this "post apocaliptic(or during one) world of fighting for survivial" swamp. ive seen prasies to wuthering thing but now im losing my hopes. zzz and endfield now my top of expectations.
Most of these games have fast paced hack & slash action combat gameplay, and it's really inflated the gacha market... That's why i only excited with games that offers something different with it's gameplay...
ProjectMugen definitely worth giving a try at least play for a single or two patches Even with Netease in their name, their devs seemed to be trying their best to deliver a fine game And for the Netease publisher, I've played Blood Strike for the release patch and their monetization looked decent, hopefully Project Mugen also receive this kind of treatment
Duet Night Abyss Azur Promilia Project Mugen Zenless Zone Zero In that order for me. Azur Promilia deserves that number 1 spot in this video tho. Definitely highly anticipated and looks great. Also offering something really different. Wuthering Waves is a pass for me. I don’t personally want a Genshin knockoff whose schtick is that it’s really hard and time consuming. Sometimes a challenge is fun but I’ve played enough games in my days where you have to devote hours and hours a day just to keep up and be ok. That’s a no from me.
I'm more surprised Arknights made it so high on the list compared to everything else we've seen so far, but to be fair I guess it is one of the few that had an actual testing phase for the public.
I personally would put WW at the top as its seems the most polished overall where as other either didn't 've much to show or alright at best from what was shown. I do find arknight kinda of interesting as its was a bit different where as azur that was as the top just seems a bit of a mess in overall presentation and too much effect on the screen. Its kind of like, I'm fine with ppl enjoying palworld but I would not rate such games any higher then a mid as its was just a mix of what ppl wanted from certain games without its own identity to put it vaguely.
i've been waiting for WW for 2 years, of course it's my #1. i haven't played AK so i would give AK:E a go once it's released, and i'm waiting for Project Mugen.
At first I though "Azur Promilla" looks good but then I saw it's an anti male character game so disappointing but also happy about not having to play another gacha game.
Meh, Azur promilia in the first place? Game is hype for azur lane kind of playerbase, hardly hype for a general audience like other upcoming high quality gachas.
Wuthering Waves is #1. Putting it in 3rd place is laughable imo. 😂 I want to like Arknights Endfield, but the base looks bad visually and the environments are a bit "ugly" (sorry). I'm hoping they use the enviornnent designer from Ex Astris since the scenery in that game are all gorgeous. The only thing visually attractive about Arknights Endfield, at the moment, are the characters and UI. As for Azur Promilia, it's waifu-only so I personally don't care for it. But for waifu-game enjoyers, I understand why it'd be placed at the top of the list. 😊
Glad you're laughing, because it's 3rd lol Don't be sorry. It's my list based on my preferences and what I'm excited about. Everyone is free to create their own. Endfield was a Tech Test only showing the ideas. As we've seen with Wuthering Waves, the game can change entirely by even the first Beta. Thanks for watching :)
The more I look at ZZZ the more it bores me , combat is just boring if the enemies don’t do much but perhaps attack you once or twice before they die . Maybe the boss is hard ? Idk you counter it , stagers for like 5-7 seconds , it tries to attack you again and you counter it again , cycle repeats , end up being an HP sponge
I would put WuWa first since its releasing and its a long time coming. I lost all excitement for ZZZ as well, aside from the amazing visuals it looks very unimpressive as a game. Azur Promilia takes the cake for me, it has that vibrant color palette and the game clearly tries to be fun first with all its features than technically impressive.
ZZZ WUWA ENDFIELD MUGEN AND PROMILLA NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THOSE 3 FOR ME. Those 3 cover different aspect that make them playable at the same time where as the others are just repition of what GI has and what Wuwa and endfield will come with( pokemon, base building, fast paced combat...) i dont think others than those 3 I'll main any others new gacha to be honest
I wanna be excited for Wuthering Waves but I was not a fan of most of the voice acting in the recent trailer and the character designs are generally just VERY bland an uninspired.
@@whiteangel3824 I think it's because they only showed us one character and usually in gacha games we have at least a few characters from the very beginning
