Bro, 9.Galar, why it's always a fcuking two 8.Johto 7.Kalos, carried hard by greninja 6.Kanto 5.Unova, mi man did them dirty, they are cool 😭 4.Paldean, yeah they have two legs bu they are not bland as galar 3.Alola 2.Sinnoh 1.Hoenn 1,2,3 can be debatable, but his ranking are full of nostalgia only.
black 2 white 2 wasnt my first pokemon game (it is xy) but its still the best region / game with the most usefull pokemons a revolution for the competitive battles! and beautifull nteresting region where yall were so exited to explore
@@azure_129fuck opinions. If you sound stupid and are just wrong you will get called out for it and you can because that is what an opinion actually is. It’s not a shield for your shit opinions it’s an opportunity to get criticism because it’s indeed NOT A FACT
Like bro I your calling generation that was the 3rd to introduce a new gimmick in my opinion, the best new forms that are giant a great storyline and great starters
I KNOW RIGHT Like, I get that Samurott and Serperior aren't that good, but Emboar is a fucking beast that can solo a few gyms and even one elite Four member Damn, even Serperior and Samurott can solo some gyms, even if they are mono type
@@MirukuKefirAnd that’s exactly the reason most people don’t like that gen’s starter trio. While other generations had starters that carry them, this one has Emboar dragging both of them down. Plus, they were as sick of Fire/Fighting starters as I am Charizard getting all the attention.
It’s not his fault the Unova starters were too good, he just sucked at using them and doesn’t know quality design when it stares at him for however long it took him to beat the game
What???I think you’d be worse cuz old starters are way better… gen 6-7-8-9 are all trash and bro put gen 2 in the bottom like cmon and put alola in number 2 like cmon bruh💀💀💀
@@amensbuildingjourney sure the first gen starters are good an all but gen 4 and 3 i find the best by far like even gen 5 i enjoy alot more then gen 1 thru 2 and i find gen 9 really unique
@@jackcusson1870 unique doesn’t mean good and I think nostalgic can still be until gen 5 imo, to me even mega are nostalgic even if I don’t think kalos, but yeahhh hoenn has best starters and sinnoh too
@@amensbuildingjourney okay true but i still enjoy gen 9 5 4 3 more then gen 1 blastois is an okay pokemon and vensaur design feels lazy charizard kinds carries gen 1 just like greninja carried gen 6
@@jackcusson1870 I dunno how you like gen 9 more than 1, maybe cuz you played kanto so much it started to become boring but nahhh I think gen has one of the best
The other two starters look great especially grookie. Even scorbunny looks amazing as a starter, but his evolutions look terrible, a football bunny? Seriously?
@@alijohar4937 bruh torchic isn’t even the best fire fighting starter, it’s design looks terrible when comparing it to both infernape and emboar, swampart is a great starter no doubt, but sceptile is only good if 1 it was your first starter or 2 you’re a child. The reason why people like sceptile so much is because grass starters are usually the worst looking so people overrate him to no end, he’s not a Better design Pokémon than venusaur or rowlett, and depending on who you ask even torterra
@@gogoof1791 I hate to tell you your opinions fall under the minority. Blaziken is easily the best fire/fighting Pokémon with speed boost with a very cool design. And I love Venusaur but there’s no way Decidueye and Saur are better designed than Sceptile, who is arguably the best looking starter ever period. 😂
@@alijohar4937 well again either you started on gen 3 or you’re a child I used to think they are the best design trio myself, but the more I look at them the worst they get, blaziken again isn’t better designed then infernape, and emboar is better in game then blaziken. Now with sceptile there’s a few reasons why he isn’t, 1 his signature more leaf blade is a physical attacking move sceptile has average at best physical attack at base 85, second honestly sceptile looks like a middle evolution there’s literally nothing going on with him, thirdly I think final evolution starters should look like something of a monster or at least something intimidating, sceptile looks incredibly cool underwhelming
"They're Ugly" Samurott looks Menacing Emboar is Massive and Bulky And Serperior is Graceful "They're weak" Serperior is OU as of Today Emboar hits like a Truck with Flare Blitz Samurott (Hisui) is Really good at Setting Hazards with C. Edge. "They're far from Memorable" Gen 5 is commonly said to be the 'best' Pokemon Generation in the Series.
@@animeanime7849 Emboar is the worst of the fire-fighting types definitely but has it's own uses, Samurott (Namely, Hisuian) can Decimate things with Sharpness and Ceaseless Edge. And Serperior really gets hard Carried by Contrary boosted leaf storms
I actually really like the Unova starters' designs, not just from it being the one to get me into the franchise, but Unova is probably the most underrated region in my opinion
@@Professional_street_hustleroh yeah chestnaught and Chespin are good, the only reason I hate gen 6 starters is because the most amazing adorable grass type you’ve seen become chubby and Pinocchio, and Delphox is eh
@@donnieyoakum-finch7377they deserve top half, but #1? Hell nah. I'm surprised that gen 3 actually got #1 on his list, given his hot takes. I think gen 1 being #3 is fair
I would flip it up and take Chikorita, Tepig and sobble or whatever the inteleon first stage is. Bulba Torchic and Froakie already have the most popular final evos. I would rather give some love to the less popular ones.
Oh no, you do NOT diss my main man Samurott. That otter’s got the physique of a pinniped, the armor of a samurai, and the anger of 1,000 maniacs because of you!
Personally I actually like samurott quite a bit, it was my first ever starter, I think the samurai motif is pretty cool, and it has a great signature move. Even though Superior is now my favorite starter, Samurott is still pretty epic. Not gonna defend sumo-pig though, cool shiny aside it definitely drags down an otherwise amazing starter trio.
Especially since he called the gen 8 starters UNDER designed. They look great, and the pop culture references really gave them a special place in my heart.
Massive and great isn't mutually exclusive with ugly. I love my fire starters, but Emboar's design is by far the worst looking out of all of them. Edit: That said, I still wouldn't put Gen 5 starters last, because it makes no sense to me to rank them only based on overall aesthetics. I would probably put Gen 2 starters last, even though I like their designs and love Cyndaquill, mainly because they're pretty mediocre compared to the other Gens and the only ones that don't have dual typing.
@@capnightSsb blaziken can swords dance turn 1 before serp can get the taunt off. And even then. Most serperriors don't run taunt. And if they do, a swords dance boosted flare blitz is a guaranteed kill on the bulkiest possible serperrior (again no body runs that)
This guy: Calls the Gen 8 Starters Bland and Boring Also this guy: Says that Meganium, a green dinosaur thing with nothing but antenna and a flower is good
There's literally nothing wrong with Meganiums design. Designs that have too much detail and/or colors is where the problem lies. A simple and straightforward design (Muk) will always be superior to one that's overwhelmed with color and details (Garbordor).
@@ShadowFiend777 I’m not saying Meganium’s design is bad, I’m just saying in comparison to literally any other starter, it’s outright boring and bland, and there are instances where a pokemon can be overdesigned and still look good (ex. skeledirge)
@@PowersUprisinghe literally said gen 2 is bit boring. And it's quite funny that are you are slandering meganium only when we're talking about generation starters in general.
@@ShadowFiend777That's literally what every company thinks and we get shitty simplified logos and designs every year. While overdesigning exists, gen 2 starters are mostly too bland and gen 8 starters aren't overdesigned
@@blueraintv8294Cinderace was Uber in Gen 8, Grassy Glide, hidden ability: Grassy Surge Rilaboom is Op, and the sassy, secret agent lizard Inteleon was cool in the anime series. Plus, what is so ugly about their design? It’s because they’re bipedal, isn’t it? (Edit: I got nothing again bipedal Pokemon)
@@limonade8278 I am so sick of people hating on Pokémon designs just because they are bipedal, galar is a awesome region, Cinderace is my favourite Pokémon, and Sword and Shield where super fun games!
Johto is so fucking overrated. It was my first pkmn game, but the starters are so fucking boring. Meganium just has a flower on its neck, feraligator is just a crocodile on 2 legs. And dont even get me started with typhlosion. Its a mouse with fire around its neck. I will never understand how people can love the designs so much and say that they arent nostalgia driven.
"Coming in dead last is the Unova trio, they are ugly and weak" It's one of the two regions where I like all starters final forms, in fact Serperior is my favorite grass pokemon. And I will happily use any of the Unova starters.
I honestly don't understand how people find gen 3 to be the best all they say is it's nostalgic and the water routes are good. NOT AT ALL. 😂 I had soul silver and emerald as my first two pokemon games and would play soul silver so much more than emerald because it's more fun.
