Cave isn’t necessarily just a rock song. It has a spookier side to it, so a more old-fashioned instrument like Krillby is able to fit in with the theme
@@3D_PUPPO Most MSM songs don’t fit any one specific genre of music, which is kind of the point of them. If you shove one into a category then you won’t see monsters like Krillby as fitting for the song, but they’re _supposed_ to be unique and versatile.

Pongping is actually good on cave island IMO. He fits the vibe of cave island cuz his pongs and pings moving super fast sound like a double bass drum. Double bass drums are used in sludge metal music. Cave island is 40% sludge metal. So that’s why I like pongping on cave island.

Quibbles 2nd track is a slight delay in each note and change in dynamic for dramatic effect and to purposely sound wild and erratic since it fits the song.
This ranking format reminds me of Inanimate insanity II, 19 contestants, A merge at 8, and the final 4 being the most known about that season and how long its been at the final 4.

boy oh boy 1 - Riff. I feel like without Riff the song completely changes and he sounds great. 2 - Yelmut. This is perfect for a song like this. 3 - Floogull. He does sound epic. 4 - Krillby. I like the sounds Krillby makes. And the final verse sounded amazing. Now Gnarls is there and kinda clutters it. 5 - Glowl. Cool voice,and does some sounds that Yelmut doesn't... Yeah,that's about it. 6 - Fwog. He does a good job of carrying vocals in the verses he's in. 7 - Mimic. He works nice with Fwog. 8 - PongPing. He's good >:[ 9 - Shellbeat. Plays throughout the entire song but wow,his sound is boring. 10 - Bisonorous. He sounds okay ig. 11 - Bowgart. Hey mister "You can hear me in like 2 verses" 12 - Mammott. This need to be said even though I thought it was kind of obvious, Cave Island isn’t really a rock song. So saying that one or two monsters belong here doesn’t make much sense. And no, just because Riff and Shellbeat are on this island doesn’t mean it’s automatically a rock song.

Now I stopped to think that Pong Ping could go to Cloud Island, because he is on fairy island, and fairy island is the substitute for Cloud Island. For this same reason, Nharls Didn't go to Party Island as he's not on the light island In short: Big Blue Bubble could place him on Cloud Island so that in the future it would have made sense for him to have gone to the fairy island in the fire expencion

0:29 I disagree, I think sometimes, instruments that aren't typical in X genre can bring a much needed freshness to the sound. Not everything has to follow all the standards to the T, Krillby sounds pretty good in the song, like if you brought an electric bass to a kids' music event, it wouldn't be normal, but wouldn't it be cool?
