My problem with 16: I know it’s a strong story driven game, but sometimes I felt like just wanting to play instead of feeling like I’m in a 20 minute cutscene for everything I do. Every person I talk made me feel like I had to watch something to understand. Replaying the game and skipping all the cutscenes, I realized just how short the game is and how the cutscenes can make you feel like you’ve been playing for hours when really you just watched a long cutscene. I disagree with the side missions. Some of the side missions dig deep into the story. I’ll never forgot the feeling of finding “Chloe” or being the branded for hire to fight the wolf in a specific area of the game (Dont want to spoil it for someone who has not played) I would personally rank it at number 1 or 2 for being one of the best games Final Fantasy game I’ve ever played. Story, voice acting, action, it was all incredible. Anyone can disagree, but you have to admit that the bar was set high for future Final Fantasy projects because this game was phenomenal.
found this video 8 months later so sorry for the sudden reply. I just want to add that the cutscenes/dialogue felt longer because in older games in the series most dialogue aren't voice acted or have "cinematic" cameras so you have manual input to progress them which makes you have some engagement as well as control their pace whereas in 16 they are all VOed, choreographed and auto played.
Just got a ps5 trying to get back in to gaming again in my 30s. Final Fantasy has been one of my favorite series over the years of my life. Thanks for this list, getting me hyped.
16 is great however THE PACE IS AWFUL. Throwing ALLLLLLL the side quests that matter RIGHT BEFORE the end is stupid. Yeah there are a couple of good ones along the way, but why not have the less important ones end before that. Literally 15 side quests pop up right at the end.
FF5 is so great. People skip over it thinking its just a bland JRPG, but its just so fun to play. I prefer other FFs for their narrative and characters, but FF5 deserves more love.
I've watched a lot of the FF ranking videos and I will say that I got unreasonably excited when I saw you put FFV up in the S tier. That game is damn good and I keep seeing it so low on lists!

I did start wheezing at "I don't think the characters in XIII had as much punch as the other games ...disturbingly that includes FF1" 😂 the delivery was great Also yes, fellow Hope fan! I'd love to see more of these, maybe for characters/summons? Makeup is BEAUTIFUL btw! Makes me want to try it myself!

Happy to see 16 get the recognition it deserves, it’s an all time great game, genuinely. The soundtrack, combat, story, VOICE ACTING, etc are all genuinely great things. It certainly has its flaws I won’t deny that, but it comfortably sits in my top 5 of the series and I don’t feel bad saying that. If 16 is any indication of the direction final fantasy is heading then I’m excited for where things will go next
I respect the hell out of putting FFXVI that high. Personally I would have it in S tier but I think there's enough to ding it for in regards to it feeling somewhat hollow in spaces, which feel less like a developer's failing and more that they gave themselves room to fill the spaces with potential DLC/patch content down the line. Storywise, though, it's an easy S tier for me.

As a die hard FF VI fanboy who hasn't yet played any after XIII, I think this list is incredibly well thought out. Your top 5 and my top 4 are the exact same, if not in that order. I gotta check out XIV someday.... Also V's gameplay has aged like a well-made violin. It's so good!

I do actually have a video that tier lists ALL of the Final Fantasy games, literally EVERY single one, so by all means check that out! I do play Kingdom Hearts, and have played all of those, but I tend to find that I play it for the gameplay first and tend not to like the stories of them very much, so I have stayed away from it in terms of content as I imagine people would get pretty upset with me XD
I think the highs of ffxvi are some of the highest highs I’ve experienced in a game. It seems like everyone kind of agrees with the pacing issues; the game is so phenomenal that the slower sinew between the high impact moments just feel that much more jarring. The motion capture and scene direction is so strong that the b tier cutscenes where people stand around and fold their arms feel so much worse. Ffxvi I think overall is just a magical game and it’s a shame about the side feeling main quests because it could’ve been undeniably top 3 ff games otherwise. 9.5/10 for me when you take a second to appreciate the whole of the game it just hits so damn hard
I think whatever is best where you have reasonably strong opinions, as I think that leads to good content. However I will throw some ideas out (no clue if they are actually good ideas or not) Tier lists: - ranking each protag - ranking each antagonist - ranking world maps(world design) - ranking FF jobs (3,5,Tactics) - ranking spinoffs (guess what you just uploaded a 70 game tier list lol so nvm) Other things - top 5 FF stories - top 5 FF soundtracks Etc
Oh, this should be fun. I will rank the Final Fantasies using letters with A being the highest, and P being the most disgraceful. Production numbers will be listed on the left; U.S. release numbers on the right. One number listed mean the production and U.S. release order are the same. No spin-offs and expansion packs! Remakes/Enhanced Ports will be treated one and the same with the originals. A. 1=Real men play games like Wizardry and Might & Magic that the first Final Fantasy was based on. A legendary classic. B. 3; 12=Funny how in the original NES version of this one, Luneth and his gang were quite obviously pre-mades even with no official names at the time in contrast to the first game, and Wizardry games (not numbered 4) where you create your own party members. C. 5; 6=Maybe if they gave you the option to rename the other main characters, I'd rank this above three. D. 9; 7=A much needed game after those not so great futuristic ones. E. 4; 2=Whatever you do, stay far away from that shitty DS remake, and especially stay away from that even shittier "expansion pack" known as The After Years. F. 10; 8=Amazingly better than I anticipated. Don't bother with that "expansion pack" either with the way they turned Yuna from Penelope Pitstop to fucking PARIS HILTON for crying out loud! G. 6; 3=A little overrated perhaps, but what it does well, it does well. I fear the day when this one gets a horrible remake and "After Years". H. 7; 4=Most overrated Final Fantasy? Plenty of good points being made. Horrible ending (at the time) definitely didn't help either. I'd stick with the original, and wouldn't waste my time with any of the "expansion packs". I. 12; 11=When you make VAAN and PENELO your main characters instead of sticking to Basch and Ashe, you know you got problems. Key members of the development team leaving in the middle of production does not help either. On the bright side, their "After Years" (Revenant Wings) is not stupid (for once). J. 16=If it weren't for storyline and characters, then this would be one of the worst, and even then, the lore is CONVOLUTED, as Square once again fails to realize a deep story does not make it right up there with The Centurions and Galaxy Rangers! As for the gameplay...what's that? K. 15=The former Final Fantasy 13 Versus has finally arrived...and it's a dumpster fire! Plus, did they think that cartoon was going to be as popular as a Young Justice or Thundarr The Barbarian!?! L. 13=I had so much hope for this one. And they already had plans far in advance to make this the next big thing! Guess what Square, reality bites as you can't force a Final Fantasy 7;4, it must be popular organically. Darn shame how unlikeable Lightning is. Not to mention both "expansion packs" being even worse than the last one! 0 for 3 for XIII. Way to go, Square! M. 2; 9=To tell you about this series problem with reinventing yourselves after ONE game in an EXTREME manner, look no further than this turd with it's insulting gameplay, crap story, crap characters, and especially crap ending! And the bizarre thing is, this one led to the creation of the Saga series, ironically called Final Fantasy Legend in the States for three games. N. 8; 5=The perfect example of SHORT term success (sell enough for a net profit), LONG term flop (majority hating the game, thus guaranteeing bad future sales upon re-release)! What a pile of trash the gameplay was with all that "drawing"! And the characters suck too! O. 14=I'll give credit where credit is due. Total rush job that took THREE years to patch to no longer be the worst of the 16. And this series got lucky too, because Bobby Kotick is a moron! Problem with this game is the same as the worst one. P. 11; 10=Well, here we are. The shark jump. A Final Fantasy ONLINE game PART OF THE MAIN SERIES! There is a good reason why *World of Warcraft* isn't called *Warcraft 4.* At least Grand Theft Auto 5 (which is really 7, but that's another story) and Red Dead Redemption 2 did it correctly by making sure to include a FULL FLEDGED OFFLINE mode, in addition to an online mode. Best of all, the offline mode has a completely different storyline exclusive to that mode. The fact that this travesty STILL does NOT have an offline mode in OVER 20 YEARS is criminal beyond comprehension! Only reason this game sold is because it is *Final Fantasy.* If this was a new I.P., it would have bombed. And I hate online gaming with the high MONTHLY FEES (thus making 11 and 14 the biggest SHORT term successes of the 16), and 90 percent of assholes you have to put up with! Until 11 and 14 get full fledged offline modes, these two can enjoy being bigger dumpster fires than 8 and like it! I think it's time for this I.P. to take a hint from Wizardry and STOP NUMBERING THE DAMN TITLES already, cause it's just getting ridiculous at this point! Wizardry has been fine since going into spin-off mode since the 8th and final game in 2001, and Wizardry had a nice finale compared to the last couple of Ultima, Might & Magic and especially Final Fantasy games.
Seeing 5 in S makes me so happy haha, i love how cheery and goofy it is at times while still involving major deaths and destruction. The job system in that game is so much fun to play with and very rewarding to max out. i usually start someone out as monk and then black mage, barehanded skill on black mage is great at the start.
I very much agree with what you said about ff13s story telling and the lack of investment i feel to both the world and villians by the end of the first game. I actually found the characters be very enjoyable, i adore the entire main cast and i have many of the same flaws as Snow in that my willingness to put myself forward to protect and help those i care about often puts me in situations i ill suited to handle and makes me seem like a big himbo at times.
This was great Joe, would love to see you dive into some more FF tier lists. Your best casts, best stories, best battle systems, fascinated to see how the lists change per criteria

Loved this tier list, I haven’t played nearly as many FF games as you but I’ve played a decent amount: FFXII: my first one, love it to death imo in low S-Tier FFXIII: High B-Tier FFVIIR: low S-Tier FFXVI: in progress currently, but I agree with it being high A-Tier so far.
Earned a subscription from me, completely agree with many of your takes, and very nice to see some unexpected love for FFV. FFXV would be in much better standing I think if they included a small section in Insomnia to introduce your kingdom and the chocobros, not too long, or flashbacks when relevant to your relationship with them like in that animated series they made. They should have included the major beats of Kingsglaive in the story proper, and made the ending that of Dawn of the Future. At least it would feel like a more complete and satisfying experience that way.

You've actually made a lot of really fair points there. I was expecting you to put XVI all the way at the top, but I'm glad you didn't, and your reasoning sounds pretty fair. I am going to admit, I haven't played the game yet (stuck behind the exclusivity thing, no, I'm not buying a PS5 just for one game), but of what I've seen so far, it does seem like hinging a lot of the promotions on one member of the Devil May Cry team was a bit much. It set expectations that weren't quite there. Why? Because you need someone else who knows how the pacing of such a game needs to go (as far as I'm aware, there wasn't such a person on the team?). Does it mean that we'd wind up with a shorter game? Yes. But there was mention in the promotional interviews that they wanted people to go back and play it again multiple times, so it wouldn't have been a loss. Personally, I think the hefty lean towards Game-of-Thrones-esque material put me off some of it, because I believe the ability to make a really good title aimed at adults, without having to go for that M-rating, is entirely possible, and overall more worthwhile aiming for (and more befitting a Final Fantasy title). I also can't say I'm not entirely unbiased, because it's behind that Sony paywall (yes, I'd have that same problem if it also came out on Xbox, but I can say they'd have gotten bigger sales from it, and as I've mentioned in comments on previous videos, the two consoles are, hardware-wise almost exactly the same - rendering Yoshi-P's exclusivity positive statement kinda moot - and there are plenty of people out there, even in Japan, who own one but not the other).
7 is a good game but if it wasn't most people's entry point it wouldnt have the reputation it does. I really liked 16 and the only thing i wished for was a dlc about Cid like his origin story and his previous dealings with the other dominants like Benedikta

I do believe that both 11 and 14 deserve to be in S tier for a multitude of reasons and while I have my fervent disagreements over aspects of 14, both games IMO represent the best the franchise has to offer. * Forgot to add, you mentioned you want a party to play 11 with and while I would be delighted to join in I fear the timezone differences would make things too much of a headache :(

Personally, FF7 SS tier. I'm not a fan of remake due to me likely the story telling of the original. I like ff7 because I enjoy the psychology of Cloud.

one thing i have to add in the 13 discussion, when you mentioned about your lack of understanding on certain aspect of the story and all i have to say is read the datalog praticaly all quenstions you have about the story lore and world all are better explaiend in the datalog(it's re explained in sequals but those infos are there in 13 datalog), i mean i love 13 it's one of my favorites games but most people get bothered by having to read an very thick book in game to fully understand it, some people don't care about having to read it others liking it, but manny just don't want to bother.
Having just beat FF16. I thought it was the best since 9. It's very rare that a story has every moment matter. S - 6 - The Villain Wins, 9 - You Fight Your way out of Purgatory ,16 - *Spoilers* A - 7, 10, 14 - Exceptional B - 4, 5, 8, 12, 13, 15 - Good C - 1, 2, 3 - Okay I think they should remake FF2 as a modern game. It is short enough where it would benefit from the additional content and a reworked battle/ combat system. *ecaF eht ni doG hcnuP*
I feel like one of the most amazing things about FF is how being story and characters based and so on, the time and the context when you play a game become massively relevant when rating them all. For example, VIII was my first one and I was young and having a lot of troubles at home, so it basically became the game of my life, not just my favourite FF; I have Griever tatooed on my arm to remind myself not to close up to the world like Squall did and so on. We're talking about things having actual impact on yourself and your personality. However, I can imagine that if I had played VIII say 10 years later it may have been a completely different experience; I played IX much much much later and didn't like the fantasy and the cartoon-ish tone, but who knows if I had played it right after VIII instead of jumping to X directly. Either way, I think there are few gaming tier lists that are more heavily subjective than FF, so thank you for sharing yours and it was nice to know your opinions!
You did a great job not letting nostalgia effect your rankings, which is why most of these lists frustrate me so much because 7 is not the best game lol.
7 is the greatest Game ever made. And I’ve played since the first one. But that’s ok. If I had to tell a friend what game to play I’d say 10., because the it’d bard for kids to read text.
11 is such a good game if your a masochist lol. I call it the dark souls of final fantasy. I played against a guy at a materia cup for fftcg awile back and he had an ff11 mat and i lost my mind lol we only talked about ff11 the whole game. It was my first mmo it was a nightmare to do anything but my god the feeling of accomplishment.
As someone who played through FF 1/4/6/7/8/9/X on release, when I finally played FFV I hated it. I couldn't even finish the pixel remaster (FF 2/3 pixel remaster were pretty excruciating also but not terrible to finish). V pissed me off so much and was so unenjoyable I couldn't finish it. The part where you lose Lenna temporarily and then immediately get thrown into a dungeon was the last straw - no warning ahead of time and she was my only character that had any amount of healing levels. I gave up and never went back. I didn't particularly care for the story either - not bad and certainly better than 1/2/3 but way worse than 4/6 and I just couldn't stand the world design or game play. I thought 7 was cool when it released but did not like it nearly as much as 6 and it definitely holds up way worse IMO - those PS1 graphics look terrible. I can't get into any real time FF games. I tried 12 and 15 and hated both of them. Probably won't even try 16 as I just don't like that type of game. Wish Square would make a new fully turn based FF game.
If you want to play XI as close as possible back in the old style. Private servers have Lv75 era which is more like how the game use to be. I still play XI as I have the last 16 years and I refuse to play private servers because It had very few QoL mechanics that modern gamers have gotten use to. But the thing is back then. We had very little choices and all those choices had little QoL updates. So it was pick your poison. So for someone that never played it during the time and has been spoilt by the mass amount of fast paced and more QoL games like 14 has. It's going to feel really slow. But XI is the most complexed game when it comes to combat. You have many different stats and you can swap gear while casting spells or using weaponskills to maimise your game play you will have countless gear sets depending what you are doing. There are elemental weakness wheel which you can make use of to damage enemies more. You can also create skillchains by Weaponskilling with others which can then be bursted upon with spells matching the element of the skillchain. That is only a glimpse of the mechanics the game has. XIV is only ahead of XI because it's more modern with newer game engine/constant updates, better graphics and just more that could be done with the modern technology. XI though to me is the better designed game when it comes to world and combat system. If only it had been remade with modern technology. It would of been outstanding. Also 7 is better than 10 by far. story and game play and should of swapped it's position with 10. but other than that I agree a lot with your choices other than 16. as someone who's favourite game is 7 then 9. 16 was by far one of the best FF games they have ever done.
imagine putting 5 in S tier and 7 in A tier, LOL. Sorry but its not possible, 5 is forgettable. 7 is so popular it practically created it's own franchise. Don't know why people have to try and be different just for the sake of it. 7 is undeniably S tier, there's no way around it.
I think 16 is a fantastic step in the right direction. If they made the short comings of 16 better in 17 then 17 will be god game. I feel similar on your list. I disagree and deep down I think you do too of where you put 9. 9 should be right above 5 on this list imo
Almost done with 16. Honestly the game is great but flawed. It has some incredible highs that rival the best in the franchise, but some aspects of its design are quite dated for a next-gen title. A lot of the stuff in between the big story moments where you’re just helping random townsfolk with canned animation cutscenes and fetch quests was just not that great. Like I feel Witcher 3 did that kind of thing plus sidequests so well that other RPGs really should have taken note. If I had to rank it I’d probably say it’s on par with 8, 10 and 12 because those games are kinda flawed gems too.
Totally agree on 90% of it but XIV just didn't really click for me. Made it halfway through the first expansion before I stopped but I found ARR to be a slog, especially the quests between the two ending credits.
I think 14 is either a game that you love more than anything else or a game that is very hard to play. One thing I will say as someone who definitely felt that slog in ARR is that the end of the base game for ARR is pretty good but in general it is the weakest part of the 14 experience (especially the patch content right before Heavensword). Heavensword is such a huge leap up in quality and Shadowbringers just takes that to the next level. The hardest part of 14 is committing to such a long experience, but ultimately is one of the most rewarding I've ever experienced as well.
14 really is like 5 games in one. The first one (ARR) is mediocre, the second (HW) and third (SB) are great, and the final two (ShB and EW) are literally some of the best in the franchise. It’s a weird game but it has a massive impact just based on time investment alone. I adored FF14 but I find it difficult to recommend or explain why it’s so good because it asks so much of you as a newcomer.

IMO, FF16 is right there with FFX it's better than: FF12 FF13 FF2 FF3 FF1 FF5 But it's not better than: FF4 FF6 FF7 FF8 FF9 FF14 So it's a very good FF but not GOAT or the WORST Never played 11 cause i was anti mmorpg at the time lol
FF16 to me is a 7/10. The game has too many issues in every department and it makes me sad cause I expected more from the creators of FF14 since I consider FF14 my second favorite FF game behind FFX
The thing is XIV is good on it's narrative and lore, but the rest of the system that they have is just shallow. Though some would argue that this is good for an MMO so that players can just dip and return back without missing much, but a single-player game is a different case. Unfortunately, somehow, Yoshida decided to use FFXIV as the base of the game barring the DMC-style combat
@@tjongdavid1921 Even the story I found it to be worse than both Shadowbringers and Endwalker. The characters are also not as interesting as other FF games and also FF14 which this team has worked on. The antagonist is just atrocious in this game
@@MONSTANIMATION Ah tho I agree with you but we can't compare it with ShB and EW because they are written by different people. However, we can compare them to Heavensward because it's also written by XVI's writer. Personally, HW has a far superior story. We can sympathize why Nidhogg is doing what he does and defeating him is more because "it had to be done". But XVI's just "kill it because it's cancer". Character interaction is what I think shine in both games. However, I feel they underused a lot of the characters. Jill for instance is just there to give Clive a pep talk. She's Shiva's dominant ffs and she can fly, why can't she prime up with us during the eikon fights??. Dion is there to show that maybe not all royalty in Sanbreque is bad; even then that's reaching given the only other Sanbrequois royalty we see is the emperor and the parliaments. Hugo is there just to smash thing and the thorn on Clive's side. Benedikta is just booba teaser with a bit of sympathetic back story. Barnabas is just exposition dump. Cid's story shouldn't finish in that chapter. Mid's there to give us a ship. I want more story from them, and of course from Gav and Byron too! Lol
@@tjongdavid1921 I especially compared it to Endwalker cause the later part of the game is literally the "Final Days" where the skies change and monsters appear and attack the whole world but it's so badly handled compared to Endwalker. In Endwalker I felt like a sense of urgency and dread cause in many scenarios you literally saw people transform into abominations and attack and kill everyone. It was a helpless situation. Nothing seemed as urgent in FF16's case. The sky changes color and rehashed monsters that you killed a thousand times before appear with a blue paint on and somehow the whole world knows their name🤷🏻♂️ Also Ultima must be among the worst FF villains, Mass effect generic looking alien with a name not even unique to him just borrowed by a reccuring FF enemy. How do we go from Emet Selch and Meteon to this generic trash of an antagonist? Who thought that this guy was even a good idea? I believe that a big reason for a FF game to be considered good or great is how the villain is handled and in the case of FF16 it was handled atrociously
@@MONSTANIMATION LoL. Yea I can see the comparison and 16 does it poorly. For me Ultima is straight up discount Emet-Selch but without any redeeming quality. He's just straight up baddy mcbaddy. Speaking of which, I have a little theory. Since the story is worked with someone that also did FFT, and in XIV Ultima is also an alien, I think both Ultimas might come from the same homeworld
I agree with a lot of things but I would personally include X-2 at A and FFT at S on my personal list. Tactics was my first, is my 2nd favorite behind XIV: Endwalker, and it counts as a mainline title in Square's own metrics. X-2 is a personal fave of mine and I think it was a good way of exploring a world that has been saved and see what everyone's up to, I like the Dressphere system and I think it's fun to play.
Haven’t played XlV but my GOATs are X, lX, and XVl. XVl really just hit me in a way that I haven’t felt in 20 years since FFX on the PS2. What an incredible game. Will be playing all of them over and over again years from now.
XIV is the best story out of all the FF games. Thing is it is an MMO so the story never actually ends, and has slow points in it. Hell the base game, and an Expansion is very slow because they are building setting, but ever thing they build pays off. Most of it can be played single player. It is a 200 hour plus FF story. The same people who made XIV made XVI, and it has the same quality.
@@marks2807 the problem is I only have a few hours a day I can dedicate to gaming. 200 hours for a game is just not possible for me right now. Especially when I hear the payoff is so late in the game
@@faintfives Which is perfectly understandable. I would recommend it if you do at some point get time to play it. As I said it is the best story out of all the final fantasy game. I can completely understand if it is too much content for many people though. Especially with it being a slow burn type game.
@@faintfives Yes, but that said it is certain expansions that have amazing stories. The base game, and Stormblood are kind of slow because they are building the setup for later stories. Shadowbringers alone is among one of the best stories from any video game I have played. Hevansward, and Endwalker are not far behind Shadowbringers. The thing is you kind of have to play the setup stories for you to care about the characters in the good stories.
16 is atmost a B if not a C, it's one of the worst tbh, the story is boring as heck, they don't commit to anything, the political wars get dropped immediately after cids death, the slave themes are half assed, you never connect to any of the characters accept for clive, the revange story gets resolved early on, ultima is like the most boring villain to ever exist. Characters die off very fast when so much potential gets missed, Benedicta, Annabelle and Cid, the Emperor dies off screen we never know was he controlled or what, we don't know what's the deal with the flower appearantly it was nothing, of course all that goes out of the window and suddenly Ultima is the important villain. Joshua's behavior is unexplained why he runs away from Clive, why he never reached out to Clive, how did he become an expert in Ultima since everything about him is completely gone. There's so much about the story that makes is very boring. And when it comes gameplay again no commitment neither an RPG nor a character action like the game is 18+ or M why the heck is it so bare bones? It has imitation RPG elements with no depth at all, and action part is so easy it's like baby's first action game, but the game is literally for adults only.

I was highly impressed with final fantasy 16, i've played and beaten all ff games and find this one to be the best final fanatasy since ff12 zodiac age. ff16 is like a mix of ff8, ff9 & ff12, it's the most mature final fantasy since 8, even more mature than it. i've beaten it and was blown away by it, the best game i've played since elden ring (that was the last game that amazed me in gaming). it might be too soon? but i think ff16 is a top 5 - top 3 ff game, this is how i rank the series y'all (not counting 11, never played it) 👇. 17. Joe, darling, if we're gonna place that much weight onto FF5 and its versatile battle system and mechanics, then we have to apply the same to FF2. We're talking no weapon runs, magic only runs, and the debuffs in this game are actually worth it. Curse is broken, and you can literally toad Emperor in the Cyclone and he'll just flee the battle ending the battle instantly. No other FF since 2 has placed that much power on debuffs. Oddly enough in this aspect, FF2 excels in the one area other FFs fall flat. I'm gonna write up a more comprehensive reaction on the Discord 😂 Love ya Joeeee 😘
While I have some slight differences in opinion I really think you explained your reasons well! I personally would swap 7 and 9 in tiers and move 16 up to low s tier below the rest. But other than that Im pretty close to the same thoughts. I will say though that i personally love 2's OST way more than 3 and even 1's even if the game is worse haha 😂
I think FFXI is still very much worth playing. I played from 2004-2012, then I picked it up with a new character at the end of 2021. It’s a very different game, but I still enjoy how it is now. I really hope to see you play XI at some point, and I’d be more than happy to share my knowledge about it if you ever have questions
I've played ff 9 for the first time three years ago and i don't like it. Settings, plot and characters did not click with me. (only Vivi is Best)) especially final boss at last minutes, that you find out before the boss. Gameplay wise all cool. Only trance system is not cool, because they switch automatucally to this form. But i think it is game made well. Just not my type.
