My singular problem with the Belf heritage is how boring the legs are. The upper half is just so chunky and meaty, and then the legs are basic AF. I throw on the Red/gold harvester court slippers from revendreth to give it some of them chunkyness it needs.
There are some more items that compliment heritage armor sets other than NIghtborne For Lightforged Draenei, after you can get an achievement you get an item called Arsenal: Weapons of the Lightforged it gives you Transmog items that compliment the lightforged Draenei set Void Elf gets 2 items from the more recent questline involving Alleria and the Voidcore staff from Helfire Citadel Night Elf can use the Sinister Aspirant's weapons from FA their set There are more but you need to find them.
So I combined the Reclamation of Gilneas set with the Worgen Heritage set, namely the boots and shoulders, and I'd say they have a pretty good fit. The monocle and hat isn't too awful either but I also sport the Godfrey Glasses you can fish up from around Gilneas.
The Nightborne are not the only ones with weapons! Trolls get a 2 Sword if you do the questline with a lvl 60 2h Sword user. There is a polearm during the BE pally armor quest. Tauren get a totem weapon if you do the Valdraken QL with a Tauren or HM Tauren. And there are more for VE for example.
The problem with most heritage sets is that they only really fill one niche within that race. The Dwarf set is amazing if you're a Warrior. But does it fit a Dwarf Hunter? Hell no. With the Nightbourne, as we saw in Legion even their Warriors used spelltouched armor. Totally fits all classes in their regard. So I can understand his ranking.
Man I remember speed leveling a warrior nightborne because I thought we would also get the weapons, I wanted a spell-blade type of thing, only to find out it didn't. I deleted the character and leveled a mage, I remember people asking, "How do you already have the mog?"... no one understood my pain, lmao
You're not wrong in any way since its a matter of opinion, but my opinion diverges a lot from yours. My top 5 are (from better to less good) Dark Iron Dwarves, regular dwarves, goblins, regular orcs an gnomes but the bottom 5 (from worse to less worse) worgen, mechagnomes, Draenei (the questline is amazing tho), Blood elves (if not wearing dress, because i hate the -absence of- boots) and regular humans
This video popped up in my recommendations and it looked interesting, but I haven't finished this video, and I'm not going to. Your opinions are so wildly different from mine, and I disagree wholeheartedly with almost all of your bottom picks.
Worgen not being the worst worst one makes the entire list wrong lmao, the colors are off the shape is off it’s like it was not fitted for worgens like every tier it’s not fitting them, but the ONE tier that should do it its even worse, at least Draenei and the ones behind are structured around the race
Oh undead is the second best yeah your opinions are the kind of “wow cool coffin in the back I’m sold” no matter the cheap hoodie the unevenness between shapes etc so lmao
Great vid but sorry bro, worgen WITH tophat does not clear the dwarf set by a mile also I personally think worgen/goblin should be in bottom three. Human set has a lot of parts that compliment sets and I think hits the warcraft 2 fantasy human great, though I will say it's more useful for parts than for a whole set. I think funny enough the mechagnome set is top 5 for me tho, but for the reason that I think it's the only set that makes them look not like a robot diaper babies, and actually transforms the vibe of your character in a significant and fun way I do also agree the nightborne set is Ace tho
Wrong night born wasn’t the only race to get weapons .. The night elves also got them when u did the quest to get the white version of the heritage set !
Happy birthday! Respectfully I’m going to have to disagree about the Troll set, it’s got a few serviceable parts but if you actually look at the parts they drew inspiration from you’ll see the parts we got are actually all nerfed versions of the original concept arts. They mixed up a bunch of old concepts took creative liberties and left every single piece worse than they found it. The belt wasn’t even refitted for troll models, the clipping in it speaks for itself, that pentagonal plate buckle was a waste of resources literally any other tiki plate would have been cooler. The boots are as low res as any wow classic boots with some crummy little tikis on the knees. If you get a good look at the mask from the side you’ll see that not only should the nose be uncovered and the jaw should be covered (like all existing concept sets and NPCs) but they bunched up a ton of extra fabric on top of the nose as if the nose points up under there (they don’t they point down) it sticks out a full nose length farther than the real nose, it looks ridiculously poorly made. It clips down into the lady Trolls chest. The Icon of Shadows back piece has been stripped of all of its Voodoo paraphernalia, doll, potions, masks. Not a single skull on the entire Darkspear set? No Teal color option? Teal is literally the tribe color it’s on the flag and tabard. No voodoo? No Mojo? Darkspear Trolls are known for their tall back rigs with skulls, iconic cloth mask(nose exposed) and large epic Rush’kah masks. They’re know for their Glaives (not swords). 1 tiki plate on the Darkspear set does not make it a good heritage set, this thing is an absolute shame compared to how it should have looked. They even cut content from the Heritage quest chain which was also short and disappointing and failed to set up any future plot lines for the Troll, there has never been a more sloppy done heritage.
Maybe a tier list would have been better. It's hard to rank and place most of these sets because they're crap. A couple are garbage, a couple are okay and a few are good and very good.
