Well now, this was a surprise wasn't it? Yes, the mostly forgotten mode in Spirits in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate is what I'm Talking about today. Mainly the battles that you can face ranging from Patients tests, to Careful Strategies, to Absolute difficulty Spikes. I'm ranking all the highest class of Fights.
If you like this type of content, please let me know, I'll do it again with other classes if you want.
Before You type some things in the comments, Here's how I ranked them:
1. I did them without spirits, Because the challenge is more interesting.
2. I made a tier list which will be added in this description.
3. No skill tree, or Hard difficulty from World of Light.

I 100% AGREE WITH #1 I HATED DOING THAT SPIRITLESS. Out of all 1300+ spirits, this one was the last one I had to defeat.

Yeah it was one of the last one I had to beat. But legit The Whispy woods spirit also gave me an aneurysm. That one may say 3 star, but no. Spiritless is a different beast.

@@dangerboatsouth4747 I'm getting flashbacks from doing that one 😨. Honestly imo the hardest spiritless modifier are the ones with extreme wind, it makes super armor battles look completely manageable in comparison.

Have been going through WoL spiritless on very easy (still using skill tree), and yea, Caeda was a bitch. For reference, this fight is in the dark realm going left, and is needed to be defeated to fight Incineroar. Shout outs to DK for a damn good up-B to fight the wind and deal damage, as well as having 4 spikes, and the marth who decided suicide was badass (they SDed)

I beat Dark Emperor using yoshi's neutral B and making ridely fall. You have to go edge of the platform on the left, once there, you must catch it in the egg twice to make it fall into the void. You must be very fast because he can return to the ledge quickly after using the first neutral B.

I found the Krystal one easy enough to beat on the first go. I was excited to get it since I like the character in question. (Made this comment before realizing you were talking spiritless).

You can cheese super sonic spirit's final smash using the down B button for kirby, making it wayyyyy easier

Hope in the next smash, we get our boi geno as a dlc fighter, but yeah the geno spirit was actually pretty easy for me since I used link for the fight and you have to defeat Mario, bowser and a white kirby (which represents mallow), then once you defeated them you go against peach and the final encounter..sheik with a nes gun. It’s a little difficult at first when you try and fight sheik especially if the other victims such as bowser or others it will be pretty hard. But I had tons of fun with this spirit and considering that you only have to spam up b when they get close to you, it can actually work.

I used Dr. Mario for the majority of spiritless battles. I think he’s a super underrated pick as he’s got his multi-hitting Tornado with amazing knockback, cape that makes edgeguarding much easier, one of the strongest back throws in the game, and high damaging smash attacks. Only issue is he is totally useless with Heavy Wind on, but that’s true for a lot of characters.

Yeah he really is a good character for spiritless, I might plan to make a tier list of viable characters for spiritless in the foreseeable future.

@@dangerboatsouth4747 That's a good idea, hard to see anyone but Chrom at #1 but I'd be interested in hearing the rest of the list. I would personally have Doc at #5 or even #4, as I think Tornado is an extremely versatile move and is one of if not the only high knockback move that reach characters high in the air

@@dangerboatsouth4747 I main him so he is naturally my first choice for battles. If you can get good with Tornado mashing and maneuvering it's a god send. Combine it with cape and he can cheese some of the tougher battles in the game.

...Caeda...At least with the Baby Bowser Spirit, the Giant Bowser could potentially be really stupid, but...We have two REALLY good AIs at normal size, hit like trucks, moves around really quick, and you're mostly limited to staying on one side of the stage, and even then...Just one...ONE HIT kills you. And it doesn't even have to be a Smash Attack, it could be their Jab ONE and you will still die. And hell, even if you COULD fight back against the wind, their Edge Guarding is MANIACAL. Shulk's AI is insane for some reason, but Marth and Lucina's AI are just better, and they're BOTH present. You can hit me with ANY other Spirit Effect, even Reverse Controls...Just...Not the wind.

I think the best Star Fox spirit is obviously Leon Powalski. You fight Yoshi, who represents Leon. *HOWEVER,* unlike the other spirits of Star Fox, it’s a 2v2. Falco appears as an ally CPU during the fight, referring the rivalry between him and Leon as well as the fight against Star Wolf in Star Fox 64(Leon will always try to take down Falco) and his fight as a DLC in Starlink: Battle for Atlas. How? During his fight, you fight Leon alone, his friends aren’t here and cherry on the cake… YOU PLAY AS FALCO! Anyway, Wolf also appears in the fight to help Yoshi. If Falco dies, it’s Game Over, so be sure he doesn’t have too much damages.

In my opinion giga Mack and the girl in ness and little bowser are the hardest for me because they are hard to beat and giga Mac was making me the most scared

Giga Mac is terrifying, but all you need is a back throw or a good hit from the side of the stage to just defeat him easily. Baby bowser is still really difficult.

This video came out before those spirits were announced. I’m planning to make a short about that in the future when the last wave of extra spirits releases. But the short answer, Rauru is like probably in the top ten, and Koraidon and Miradon might be top ten as well.

I was mostly going for a lack of spirits sort of challenge. Like going in with no spirits at all. But yes, with spirits Caeda is actually not that bad. The only issue is lucina being quite intense with her a.I and her two double jumps. Maybe I’ll remake the list with spirits in mind. But I’m super proud you did it on the first try. Kirby is king
