@@benenontry Cerave tint sunscreen, neutrogena tint sunscreen, Eucerin tint sunscreen, bondi sand, martiderm, you should use tint sunscreen because it match’s your dark skin , don’t use non tinted sunscreen, it makes your skin becoming white cast
Mineral sunscreens always have a cast on me. What’s worse is the work to run them in cause irritation. Reapplication is always difficult. I’d rather rewash my face then reapply. I’ve been watching your channel and I’m going to order one of the Korean sunscreen’s you’ve recommended!
great video! i would recommend the la roche posay mineral sunscreen. it's broad spectrum 50 spf and has water resistance. i have a very light skin tone so the white cast is not too noticeable on me. cannot say how the cast would appear on a darker skin tone but after ab an hour it seems to dry clear or semi-clear. would look into it if you're looking for a new one to try!
Just tip. Ask your dermatologist about Accutane for your acne or topical tretinoin. They will get rid of all that acne on your face for good. I was on Accutane for 7 months and it healed my face. My skin is now smooth like a baby's bottom and I use topical tretinoin 5 days a week and sunscreen in the daytime everyday. There are very many sunscreens that would work for your complexion with no white cast. Keep looking. I promise you, they're out there.
Another great video. Thank you for saving my money, time and sanity. I’ve got combo skin, Fitzpatrick V skin color and hunting for my summer HG sunscreen. Drmtlgy was good. Tad heavy I think. Currently trying out Saint Jane sunscreen. Pretty good so far. Edit: white cast appears today so lie, pass on the Saint Jane🙈
Was wondering if you ever tried the mineral sunscreens from Summer Fridays and Community 66? Also Necessaire has a new one. Interested in knowing your thoughts on those
As another African American I’d definitely suggest Canamke Mermaid Skin Uv Clear. It’s a good mineral sunscreen. Also Drmtlgy has a really good tinted mineral sunscreen. CoTz is hit or miss with their mineral sunscreen
Sorry to barge in here. Where do I find that Canamke is a mineral sunscreen pls? The ingredients only show a long list of chemicals and zinc oxide as only the 4th or 5th ingredient?
I love the isdin actinica and I’m definitely not porcelain. I do agree that it looks drying without a moisturizer but for me, it looked incredible over a moisturizer.
I hate eltaMD too. I don't know why but their products always irritate me. Mineral sunscreens tend to dry me out, but I like the Tatcha Silk Sunscreen. It's one of the few sunscreens that I re-purchase. Casts bother me, but the tint on it comes on more natural for me. However, I don't have a deeper skin tone, so your mileage may vary.
Maybe try sunday riley. Apparently not supposed to leave a cast. My least casty mineral sunscreen I have tried is the mdsolarsciences bb cream in dark. I use it as a regular sunscreen.
I like Cotz flawless complexion but it can be a little shiny. Here's an old review of it ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C-3MoHg5ItI.html
Try these: Colorscience Bronze, Colorscience Flex in deep color, Inzincable, ILIA, IT COSMETICS CC+Cream (Deep) SPF 50, SUNTIQUE, I'm SAFE, EVY, etc. Keep looking girl.....so many sunscreens in your shade too.....tinted or plain. You're welcome!🙄
Have you tried either the village 11 factory waterproof cica sun lotion, or the coola fragrance free face sunscreen? I really like these for water resistant days, but am curious how they would wear with your skin tone so that I know who to recommend it to?
I haven't tried the village 11 sunscreen but I will add it to my list! I think I have a video on the coola sunscreen if you want to search it on my channel
I love your reviews😊 have you tried the LRP Anthelios mineral sunscreen lotion? I have medium to tan latina skin - I looked real ghosty at first but it dried down surprisingly clear after a few minutes.
Thank you for this review, I was wondering if you can review the KINLO Always Golden Daily Moisturizer with SPF 40, 3 in 1 Universally Tinted Mineral Sunscreen, its a brand by Naomi Osaka, its next on my list to try.
thank you for sharing! i wonder i have given up on mineral sunscreens 😪 as long as it doesn't sting my eyes or have octocrylene, i'm good. i hate when brands say they are reef safe and are not (ie supergoop, but i love their play sunscreen 🥴). have you ever heard of Dr. Gio? She makes spf 40 cushion foundations that has a range of shades. I wonder how it reapplies.
The EltaMD one is meant for sensitive skin but it has lactic acid in it. It irritated my skin so bad. You can easily overexfoliate your skin if you use it and also gave different skincare products that exfoliate
I believe when Lactic Acid is under 2% , it doesnt act like an exfoliate. It actually acts as a moisturizer which is why its in some skincare thats not marketed towards exfoliation
@@CriscianaLovely I’ve seen Dr. Dray talk about it in that sense but it can still be irritating for sensitive skin. It’s interesting that it’s included in a formula specifically marketed towards rosacea prone and sensitive skin. It’s the same thing with the Cocokind Ceramide Barrier Serum, it burns sometimes.
there is not a single mineral sunscreen that is not tinted that's good. im very light and I have not tried a single mineral sunscreen that looks good and doesn't pill in the eye brows or hair line.
