I can't speak on the fire/ice S snakes bc I haven't gotten them (really want the ice S tier bc it's my fav element to build with).. but personally I really like the leaf S snake and I think it's ability is way more useful than the lightning/electric S snake.. the poison air is just a nice added DPS boost but the effec to the healing mobs is awesome especially when there's tons of mobs on screen.. the only thing I don't like about it is sometimes it's hard to see things like enemy attacks or actual under the ground enemies bc it's so dark, I wish it was just a little lighter. Imo the electric drill snake's ability is almost worse than useless, I'd rather have no ability tbh. the invulnerability is nice but it's dmg is pretty meh bc it's hard to control and honestly like 99% of the time I just wish it didn't go off bc it just prolongs the level bc it usually goes off near the end like you said.. that or even in boss fights it nerfs your dmg so much which takes you longer to do dmg so sometimes it causes the boss rage mechanic to kick in bc you've taken so long which everyone knows is an absolute pain in the butt for most bosses. I only use it bc it's my only other S tier snake. Question tho, do you think it's better to use 3 snakes of the same type to get the 4 star ability or just use your best snakes? Bc in my case I'm only a week or so in, so I only have 2 S lvl snakes that are still the base 3 star, but even the 3 star A lvl snakes have like half the dmg on the same lvl.. so personally I've just been using the 2 S tier snakes I have and a 3rd A tier.. the only way I could have 3 of the same type would be lightning but then they'd all be pretty low lvl to use my upgrade stones across all 3 and even if they were all the same lvl replacing 1 of my S tier snakes with an A tier means half the dmg and a lot less hp for 1 of the 3 slots off the bat, not including them all being lower lvl bc of having to split the same type of upgrade stones
I should add just talking about the individual snakes themselves, I still agree leaf is weakest bc of not having enough other snakes to make the new ability. Hopefully they add more leaf/holy snakes soon!
The drill buster used to be way stronger but it was too powerful so they nerfed it. The positive side was if you had a drill snake during the nerf they gave you an extra drill snake. I would go for 1 s grade and 2 a grades if you can. Pump all of your stones into the s grade And we should see a new holy snake within the next week
@@iPICKmyBUTT so you think it's better to go all 1 element and go 1 S and 2 A for the added ability even if all the stones are in the S snake so the 2 As aren't lvld? Bc in that case I think the unlvld As have like 1/4 of the DPS and hp. I've been going 2 S and 1 A just going with my highest lvl atm. Unfortunately bc I only have the S leaf and S lightning I'd have to go with the drill snake even tho I hate it lol. My As are also only 2 star and would be lvl 1 and the drill snake it's base 3 star. Whereas I can go 2 S tier that are lvl 25+ and 1 3 star A tier lvl 28 if I go different elements. Not sure if the lightning 4 star ability is worth it to have 1/4 of my DPS and hp on 2/3 snakes?
Are there any benefits of going with the same element as your snake? I have the starting plant snake, but plant turrets seem to be the weakest, should I go plant while with this snake or focus on ice/light?
It only really matters when you have 3 matching crowns. Currently you can only do it with lightning fire and ice. That will unlock the crown ability in game
Do I understand this to let the drill buster go so I can get another snake? I am a f2p player and this will cost me 18000 gems which is a lot I hope you tell me what is the best option
All s grade snakes are very good and are still the top 4 snakes in game. I wouldnt let any of them go. It’s still extremely good but fire and ice feel slightly stronger
This isn't useful to you anymore but to anyone else seeing this, I'd still get any S tier if you can.. they do like double the dmg on the same star lvl/upgrade lvl
