Today I rank all 58 weapons in Battlefield 2042. Starting with the worst gong down all the way to the best. Let me know your thoughts and what you would rank differently.

The fact leveling up weapons is based on kills rather than xp makes things a lot easier than some other fps games.

@@orangeusername1792 not really for xp but to level weapons and get atachments, you get them by kills, it doesnt matter of they are bots or real players

Crossbow should be higher. One shot kill potential up to a pretty good range. Quick load speed and great accuracy as well. Every time I use it I feel like a good. Great weapon in close quarters imo

I essentially agree with this list. Might move a couple things up or down but yeah this is accurate. 2000hrs playtime and I’ve used all the guns a lot. There are definitely clear winners.

Did you try the mcs-880 since its buff? I have been having a blast with it and would put it higher than half the SMGs, but that might just be me being biased and wishful thinking 😅

yes after the recent buff its crazy, i can definitely see a nerf in the future. I will say that it's not as strong on all the other maps apart from redacted because of how open they are, but i think it's a great weapon to use on all the maps if your playing breakthrough

Hell yeah, for shits and gigs I picked up the Msc-880 and damn it slaps. Putting slugs in it, I can kill enemies from ranges that I would use an ar for.

The lever action can be quite fun to use, definitely better than the BF4 Mare's Leg, i go with this or the SWS over any DMR (except for HC servers)

m1911 with the 17 round mag is better than any sidearm besides the g57, its like a 3 shot kill to like 20m or something

tbh dxr-1 with extended barrel is enough, it feels like hitscan even on very long ranges and you have option to equip optics 6x+ Rorshe has easier learning curve but later any good sniper with dxr will easily outsnipe you.

This is my list aswell :) i don't go anywhere without my BSVM , the question is how does the it fare against the new G428 ? I'm hearing it's an improved BSVM :)

Both pretty identical for sure, I would probably say bsvm is still better at short range because of its higher rate of fire and feeling more like an assault rifle, but medium to long range I would probably say thr g48

First 3 weapons and already I have to heavily disagree. Crossbow should be in the middle of the pack, MP412 Rex is top3 sidearm.

Yeah will shake the meta up which is good cause it’s gotten a little bit stale. Definitely looking forward to it alongside the new weapons too

Ac9 is pretty much a short range smg, struggles at medium range, mp9 offers a bit more range but does slightly less damage especially at short range, just depends if you’re more aggressive and mainly engaging in short range gun fights or not
