My Tier list is more so based on Choreography and Music Z: Sparking Zero A: BT3, RB2 B: BT1 F: BT2, RB1 BT2 & RB1 - Kinda low energy and the music is a bit forgettable BT1 - Almost gets into A and has a lot of the ideas that are fun but mostly sets the standard for what a good opening should be RB2 - Lots of fun good music interesting shots but isn’t quite as kinetic as BT3 BT3 - The quintessential opening when you thing good openings you think this game almost makes it to Z but the lyrics are the best part of the song and since it’s absent from this opening that’s gonna drop it down some points Sparking Zero - At first I didn’t know if the music was good enough to get it to Z rank but the more I watched it the more I realized just how well everything flows together it’s taken the best parts of all prior openings and gone beyond it deserves the rank of Z

BT 3's intro does have the vocals in the Japanese version Sparking Meteor. They must've thought a western audience wouldn't be into Hironobu Kageyama's singing back then as several games had him sing their main themes which were purely instrumental in the western releases.

Me personally. I agree with the list. However I disagree on RB2 and SZ's placements. I personally think RB2's intro is a bit more intense and the music is goated. Sparking! Zero's is good but I feel like it could've added a bit more y'know? So Sparking Zero is a HIGH A tier and Raging Blast 2 is Z tier. Everything else is fine

Budokai 3's intro goes really hard as well. Plus it is fully animated like the anime instead of using 3D models so even though its an old game it still looks amazing. Its pretty much just a DBZ anime intro used for the game instead, so I wonder where you guys would put that one on the list. PS: While I love both versions of the song I do prefer the instrumental only version of the intro featured on the US release of the game.

Aww, not the Japanese version of tenkaichi 3? But it's objectively better than the English one since it has lyrics! (Okay, maybe not objectively better, but I like it more.)

Fun fact, i'm not sure which other versions of the game have it, but the wii's pal version of tenkaichi 3 in Europe (which is the 1 i have) includes the vocals

Bt1 in Z rank easily ..the music is amazing,the fight choreography is fire,the head dance between goku and vegeta is legendary and smooth transition with Sheron is fire.. Bt2 is F rank ..everything looks janky and stiff only thing decent is the music and that the models are less oily..Sparking zero is A at best ..they super glazed sparking zero into Z because their blinded by the hype the opening is mid at best.

@@Raratoman even to this day, tenkaichi 1 intro over 2 for sure! Tenkaichi 1 should have been tier A for sure en tenkaichi 2 to B.

hmm Im in strange spot where my only console that was available to buy in stores was xbox 360 and it was my first back in 2007, my 1st Dragon ball game was BURST LIMIT which I love... then I was exposed to Raging blast series and Honestly When I watch all openings from most of games from 2000 up to this day Raging blast 1 is at the bottom and Raging blast 2 is top 3 for me

are you for real? if you would have watched tenkaichi 3 intro with the actual vocals on it... its easy the best one. RB2 is second place. Sparking Zero intro is really good animation wise but it sucks that theres no high energy song with vocals backing it up.

"How could you not say it's Z, right?" Gee, I don't know, maybe because... 1. The music is discordant noise for half of it. 2. They basically show off Super Characters exclusively with ONE exception being Baby. 3. It didn't do anything creative that stands out from the previous intros other than looking prettier. It's not the worst, but certainly not the best.

The copium is insane, just the intro song in Tenkaichi 3 makes it way better than Sparking Zero, Sparking Zero intro is pretty meh to be honest, got the eyecandy ye, wich should be expected from a new generation game, but the only hype moment was that kick from gohan, and the song was a really letdown, its not a hype song and to be honest doesnt even fit well.
