Ranking each Hazbin Hotel character by how likely they are to die 

I feel like the "it starts with sorry" scene is gonna become the Hazbin Hotel equivalent to the "he can get hurt" Blitzø scene for this channel.

If Sir Pentious dies like you theorize, I think that instead of his soul being destroyed, Sir Pentious will ascend to heaven, proving that sinners can be redeemed. Edit: I'M A BLOODY GOD MATE-

Honestly i dont think they should permanently kill off any of the main cast in season 1 as all of them should be fleshed out some more and killing off a main character seems like like a season 2 thing

To add to your theory of Charlie most likely not dying Alan one of the writers of Hazbin hotel along side Viv said that Charlie can't be killed by exterminators weapons and that she can only be killed by one of the high ranking angels. So she is the only one among the main cast who is safe in the extermination.

If they kill Angel, I get the feeling it will be a "redemption through death" and he won't be permanently dead, on the oposite end I CAN see them killing Husk and permanently because he has already lived his prime, has no interest in redemtion like Angel does, and his death frees him from his "leash" as well as could be symbolic if he sacrifices himself for Angel, and it could serve to spur Angel's character on. Though that's the only way I see him dying. I get the feeling it's Sir Pentious because it would bring him full circle or Vaggie if anyone and the other thing is I think if they die in season 1 most of them besides Husk, or Sir Pentious have less reason to perma-die

I agree with almost everything, but I think that if Angel ascends this season, he will have a fake-out death with him sacrificing himself for someone else (probably Pentious or Husk). This sacrifice will be the last step for him truly redeeming himself, causing him to go to heaven.

Ok so here is mine just in random order: Charlie - She probably won't die because she is a main character and the one that created the hotel in first place without her there is no point for the idea they will all just comeback to their regular lives. Vaggie - Vaggie might die. There's a build up on her character on how she is an angel so if she dies, she will probably sacrifice herself. Angel Dust - He might also die bacause his character also had a build up. Don't know he will die though but I think he will or he will get redeemed. Husk - I don't if he will or he will not since he is on a leash with Alastor, not alot of build from him so if he dies we wouldn't feel that much sympathy at least for me so I don't think he will. Niffty - ... Who ever think she'll die please tell me why? No build up of her character, we don't even know so much about her so no. Alastor - its a 50/50 chance he will die since he is important but not in a sympathetic way. He had a build up but mostly its about how powerful he is. If he does die I don't think it will not be that heartbreaking but it will be a discussion to fans. Sir Pentious - Will probably not die. Not alot of build up to his character. If he does die I think it will make fans and even me heartbroken but not as much as Vaggie & Angel since we don't really know so much about so I don't think he'll (pun intended) die.

One could logically assume he is even BELOW avarage angel, since he hasnt fought in a while and also gave up, compared to exorcists, whos' whole reason for EXISTING is fighting. So its a somwhat valid claim to make that LUCIFER, is weaker than ONE exorcist. Its too soon for Angel Dust to get fully redeemed and sent to Heaven. He's really only had one episode fully showcasing that he's becoming a better person. I think, if you're right about Heaven changing the rules, then the season might end with them saying they will give him a CHANCE. And will be closely monitoring him.

If Angel dies by an exorcist, his soul would not be erased because he good boi and his soul cleansed so it wouldn't work by the same rules anymore. Then he'd get to be with Molly, and it would make a lot of sense considering there's no point to her without Angel, and she isn't an interesting character in the slightest yet. As the angels themselves say, they don't know what exactly gets someone in heaven, so maybe there's already been other sinners that have died in hell after redeeming themselves and gone to heaven. They probably wouldn't tell anyone of their past in fear of being sent back.

I think it would be neat (maybe a little cop-out-y) if Vaggie and Sir Pentious both “die” but in the sense that Vaggie in betraying heaven becomes a demon and Sir Pentious in proving he is worthy of redemption becomes an angel. It would put both of the sides in a tizzy to be like “oh wait this is possible we better get our shit together” and season 2 could be Charlie solidifying the hotel as a business that works and also show how heaven is dealing with reworking their rules and society with the knowledge they could be sent to hell

Angel Dust and Alastor are Vivsy's babies. I doubt they would die on season 1. I think it could be a side character that we have grown to appreciate. Like maybe it would be Cherri or Mimsy, but im thinking maybe Emily. Think about it, Adam kills Emily and now Sera is PISSED and theres a HUUUUGE tear in heaven.

Tbh I think that, given we know Husk and Angel Dust will be a slow-burn ship, I doubt they’d die. Personally, I think Sir Pentious is getting the boot, since he’s been a rather minor or looked down upon character by the other’s in the cast.
