Here’s my advice. My personal order (using Miss Chalice (because I prefer her Parry Dash, Super 2 and versatility with double jump) and Crackshot + Spreadshot) is 1 (Alcohol Trio), 2 (Chips Bettigan), 4 (The weird domino thing), 6 (The Skeleton Horse Plane Fight), 7 (Pirouetta), 8 (Magic 8 Ball), and sometimes 9 whether or not I’m feeling confident with my dice roll timing. This strategy let me S Rank it pretty easily on my second try (first time I accidentally ran out of time because I hit the Start Over square. Let me explain my logic. Super 2 gives you extra health which stacks with the three potential hearts you can get. If you have max cards near the end of one of the minibosses, save it for the next fight. Each fight you do gets you an extra two minutes of spare time on the fight for the S Rank, so I do the early easy bosses I can do with little risk that I can do quickly. Alcohol Trio can get you possible parries but you shouldn’t waste time for them, you can get them later. For 1 I like to Spreadshot the front two and Crackshot the last two while jumping to get Spreadshot hits on them when I can. For Chips Bettigan I like to use Crackshot during the attack and just invulnerability roll through the attack (if you use Cuphead I seriously recommend Smoke Bomb for King Dice especially). I skip 3 because I find his spit attack really hard to read the swirling pattern and I often get hit there. For 4, there are four threats. Firstly, he lifts his top hat and a little bird domino comes out, moving to the left, down and to the right. You can do a single jump towards it as it comes towards you as it comes over. Usually there will be an extended safe spot of ground for when it comes over. It also spits out these bouncing orbs which you can run under after they bounce on the ground. I’d recommend parrying as many as you can, these are some of the easiest parries that count towards the S Rank there are. There’s two patterns of spikes on the floor, shorter and longer. Shorter can be cleared with a single jump while I’d advise dashing over the longer spikes. Miss Chalice double jump helps with manoeuvres here. Use Crackshot here. Don’t do 5. While the skull circle is easy to roll through as it shrinks, the line of projectiles that rises or sinks can be hard to get the dash timing on. If you pick it by accident you can stay on the center card for both versions, rolling when the falling one is just about to hit you and then double jumping (not sure what to do with Cuphead here, I think I just smoke bomb). If it is rising you can try and parry the pink one but it’s hard to find under pressure. For 6, just scout the bottom race track for the one in the blue dress and bait is out by going above it and drifting back. The present that explodes into horseshoes should be generally avoided but when it explodes become the tiny plane and fly to the center, looking for the parryable horseshoe, you should be able to get at least one. For 7, intangible roll / smoke bomb through her when she moves towards you. Do the same away from her with the proper timing so that you move in the opposite direction to the falling balls and can invulnerability through them even if you space it poorly. For 8, it is genuinely the easiest fight there. Just move under the blocks just after they jump and move past. Try to stay in the center shooting Spreadshot up at the ball, but when it opens it’s mouth be wary of the projectile, it’s pretty easy to dodge. Use the intangible roll / smoke bomb if in danger. Don’t do 9. It’s not difficult, just time consuming. If you still want to you should use the mini plane as much as possible. My advice for parrying the dice is that the order is 1, 3, 2 with about a second delay between each number. Try tapping your foot to keep the metronome. Jump as it hits the one before the one you want. 1 comes out right as he claps so if you parry his hands while they’re touching you’ll get 1 consistently, it helps since you should do most of the fights. If you’re not sure about the timing exactly, just master doing 1 and try and get the Safe Squares since you do all of the ones immediately after them. You’re only missing 3, 5 and 9. For the King Dice fight itself, the cards have a surprising large parry Hitbox, especially for Miss Chalices dash so don’t get too close. If you’ve gotten good at the fights leading to it you should have all of the available hearts so you may be able to make a few mistakes here and still get the S Rank. Jump up at him with Spreadshot in between rounds of cards. During the cards attack, use Crackshot. You don’t need to dash for distance across the cards unless the distance is 4 or 5 cards between pink cards. Again, her double jump is handy here to adjust accordingly. Hope this advice helps, sorry it’s a block of text.

I think I only took out Hopus once. I REALLY struggled with him (I think it was the parrying from underneath) so I avoided him. Personally, I would try to get Mr Wheezy, Pip & Dot, then either Pirouletta or Mangosteen, it didn’t really matter which of those two I got.

I don’t know I still feel as though most of the attacks are pretty easy to dodge. In the second phase you mostly stand in place only to move when an axe or bomb comes out
