@@rangerghost2474 tip for playing the game:do all the side missions, they are all great and some even change certain events in the main missions Side missions are also tied to day or night Prague so don't miss any before you go into the different time if day, IGN has a good website that tells you what side missions there are are,what time of day there set in,and how to complete them

Mankind Divided has one of the best open maps I've ever seen. It's so small you can walk from one extreme to the other in like 3 minutes... but its so full of details and stuff to discover...

I replayed it again about 6 months ago & on a whim got the power that makes you teleport a bit like Blink from Dishonored.(I forget the name of the power) Used to think it was useless to my stealth playthrough until I used it VERTICALLY .OMG the amount of hidden stuff I found in high places like rooftops. I've played the game several times, never realised how much stuff I missed. It really is a game that keeps on giving.

Even if human revolution isnt as good as the original imo I just love its atmosphere and aesthetic. One of the few games where that orange/brown tint actually works. Also idk if its only me but the rrload animations are ao good too.

I love human revolution it had a unique atmosphere. Was really memorable getting the pacifist and legend achievement in the same run too. I remember KOing a guard and not realising he was dead until I checked the whole area so I had to reload. Rescuing Malik was extremely tough too on legend since that counted for pacifist. I almost gave up on that one.

@@TeddyBearnsI got pacifist and foxiest of The hounds in the same run. The problem was that in a secondary mission I ended up neutralizing an enemy with a tranquilizer dart and then dropping him from the top of a building. Yes, I killed him, but the game counted his death as "fall damage". Lucky me.

No game in the series (arguably any game, period) has reached OG Deus Ex's quality, but it's impressive how high quality the games have been across the series. 4 games (I don't really count The Fall since it's not a mainline release) and all of them range from decent to amazing. It's especially impressive when you take into account that OG Deus Ex and Human Revolution were the first games put out by their studios.

There is a 4 hour hbomber video that explains why, but if you want my personal top 3 reasons: 1. Boss fights 2. Choices don’t affect the narrative in HR 3. Level design is atrocious I’m not trying to shit on a game you maybe like, but original Deus Ex is one of the most ambitious (and best) games ever made. I don’t know if you can say HR even tries to be anything but passable.

@@ayaya173 Yes, I never meant that the new games come anyway close to the original, but they new games were fun and had some elements which gave me nostalgia, but noting is better in the new ones except the graphics. The music, the story, characters…The original was so perfect that it was out of this world. I think of the original every day, but not the new ones.

That's because it IS unfinished. There was supposed to be a follow-up for Mankind Divided, but the producers rushed it out the door, and then indefinitely suspended the entire Deus Ex IP to focus on a microtransaction cash cow Marvel's Avengers, which completely shut down in only 3 years.

Wouldn't make much difference since it's not plausible in a first place. JC's story was so much more spectacular and remarkable and this one is just plastic. You can literally feel like reading some pulp fiction while playing it, it's so far-fetched

I took for granted the reaction was more like a "wow ok I enjoyed it anyways" I understand Invisible War was too weak in certain aspects. Personally I felt too uncomfortable with the controls.

what's the second one for invisible war with the dancing pop song mean , Invisible War is good Mankind Divided was very good up until a certain point then it sort of hit a wall and ended I swear I didn't even realize the boss fight with minigun Russian was the end , I knocked him out in 2 minutes max I preferred Human Revolution but I approve of the changes in Mankind Divided just wish it was twice as long. they should make a jrpg length Deus Ex without messing up the atmosphere of it , the soundtrack to Mankind Divided and Human Revolution are some of the best out ost there and the conversations with enemies are as good if not better than fighting them

Gameplay-wise MD was great, but man that story just kinda ended. It's like it's following the standard 3 act structure, but it ends at act 2. Also, and I know I'm going to get hate for this, The Fall was OK. Not great, certainly the worst of the bunch, but I can't bring myself to call it awful. Speedrunning it is actually kinda neat.

Invisible war is by far the worst of the series, the fall isn’t anything that good but considering it’s literally a mobile game it’s pretty impressive (especially for it’s time). Invisible wars mechanics felt like a step backward in virtually every way from the previous entry, it’s story feels very wasted and rushed (although it had a potentially very interesting premise), and it’s main protagonist has LITERALLY no personality. It’s also so incredibly short too. The Omar were really cool though, and I hope that we can see them or their emergence in a future entry

It's a bleak shadow of what the original was, played it with developer comments and they literally said they wanted to create SOMETHING ALIKE. So they end up plainly copying most of the stuff from the first game, even plot devices like pilot's possible death, boss' betrayal and etc. Also the screenwriter looks like a typical feminist so no wonder

Deus Ex is a fantastic title and then it's all downhill after that. Human Resolution gets by on nostalgia and Mankind Divided is great if you enjoy cliffhangers with no conclusion.
