I genuinely don’t understand the blood of the dead cutscene. None of the characters react or say anything about richtofen sacrificing himself? That just doesn’t make sense to me at all after the primis crew was growing really close together. I genuinely thought it was a bug or new richtofen used magic to control the rest of the crew to leave old richtofen

@@aggressivefox454 I mean Tank, Nikolai, and Takeo were all hunting down versions of Richthofen in the gap between The Giant and Origins. This was just another variant. Plus they don’t really talk during their 1.0 deaths scenes. For example Nikolai and Takeo say little to nothing during the DE cutscene as it was about Dempsey

They aren't really too close nor fully trust richtofen till GK since blood comes before they never really get that chance.

@@callofdutywii1but this took place after ZNS, given the dialogue of that map it makes no sense for them to just cold heartedly not say anything to him, especially takeo who was trusting richtofen a lot more after keeping his promise about the emperor

I instantly got shivers when it started and I wasnt even playing bo2 zombies when it was released. I stopped after Die Rise because I was disappointed and only learned about Buried and Origins when BO3 launched. I regret not playing Origins when it was at its peak/release in BO2 but I caught up during BO3. Still Origins is my overall fav map and the cutscene hits so heavy every time.

The thing is its ending makes perfect sense.we learned that the cycle exist because of us and if we exist it’ll exist and the cycle can’t exist if we don’t exist.One can’t exist without the other.So without it we wouldn’t be in a never ending loop that would never move forward

The Great War map wouldn’t make any sense .One it’s not cannon anymore so it doesn’t exist in the dark aether story so it won’t return.2 the Greta war already happened we were just never part of the fight.Great war takes place during origins.So we were never involved and even if we were it would not change the outcome because the cycle will still exist.As well if we were in the Great War we would’ve died .Great war also equals no origins and therefore we would never send richtofen to be frozen to break the cycle .So the Great War story wise serves no purpose and makes no sense.

Zc2 died already it was done and set for bo4 but the community and activison took that from us

What did bo4 fuck up so bad? You had the mp which was good and zombies had a good selection of maps

Nah let them die they had almost 13 years of story .plus takeo’s voice actor is retired due to a stroke.So it would be disrespectful to replace him or keep him out

Isn’t the cannon ending for MOTD technically both endings? The cycle is broken hence why we get BOTD but before it was broken we got the BO3 maps? I’m probably wrong but I thought technically both were canon since the cycle gets broken eventually

@Ultimataco The ending where the Al kills the others is canon. For BOTD to take place the survivors have to have been dead for their blood to be collected, since it is one of the cursed realities. If BOTD didn't happen then the BO3 ending would commence where they drink the blood from the cursed realities. Edit:That's just what I recall from the story explained video
