@@AnIdiotBox1963 I thought the Gunfighters was fun! And had a lot of really good humor! And the Daleks was so slow paced and boring. Do I need to mention the entire episode where they just kept going over a gorge?
@@macthemeh That's fair for the gorge episode, love how the colourisation edit turns the whole episode into 3 minutes haha and also fair about Gunfighters humour, I don't find it that funny overall but the Doctor realising the Clanton brothers does make me laugh
I've been watching these to determine which Classic stories I want to watch with my friend who is new to All of Doctor Who(has only seen 9 and 13 and 15's eras) and as for myself i've seen all of New Who but I haven't seen enough of the classic era. Friend seems to prefer the interpersonal drama/ character development than the actual scifi, which is a shame, but i showed him An Unearthly Child last week and he seemed keen on Ian and Barbara, and asked if they were going to get together, and I said Idk, i haven't seen enough of 1st Doc to tell you, but there's definitely fanfiction about it. So anyway, I might show him the Aztecs next, unless I can get a solid answer about whether or not The Daleks would be a good way to convince my friend to LOVE the scifi instead of just tolerate it.
The Daleks is honestly an amazing story but if you’re introducing someone to classic who (and especially 60s who) I’d honestly recommend the colourised cut down version on BBC iPlayer, makes it easier for a modern audience
