After the middling stroll through series 3, the Angelis era continues in series 4, which I certainly enjoyed more than what came before. Which episodes do I consider the best, though? Time to watch and find out!
'Special Attraction' was two stories mashed into one (Christopher Awdry ones to be exact) so you were right on the money on that one 😜 Season Four grew on me as I got older, especially the narrow gauge engine episodes, and yes it was mind blowing seeing the new engine's as a kid. I remember being like "who the hell are these engines and where's my engines?" But we learn as we get older 😂 Great ranking video my friend, very well done ✅☺️🚂🚃
Season 4 is my nostalgia season mainly because this is the Season I remember watching when it first came out and would mark the Season I would be done with Thomas but I kept watching.
Bulls Eyes is actually a reference to Daisy's fear of bulls from Percy's Predicament since Toby was the one who actually moved Champion from the line not her moving a cow by herself later on and I actually really enjoy Bulls Eyes. It feels right at home with Season 4. It has a live and let live vibe with law abiding behavior and it was such a shame it along with Four Little Engines, Mind that Bike and Train Stops Play never made it to a DVD for Thomas Meets the Queen in the US, and they could have picked either this, Mind that Bike or Train Stops Play for The Greatest Stories in 2010 instead of Henry and the Elephant.

Interesting to see a more balanced ranking with narrow gauge stuff spread throughout and even towards the bottom, those ones are usually considered the best!
