i fr picked up the game because of boothill, said "im on'y f2p-ing this shit" and got him after like 3 days of playing. the meta is non-existant to me, i'd have to build all the characters i have to consider it.
I don't care for Meta myself, but I do pay attention to the stuff so I can have a solid idea on how to make my fave characters good. And I use Dan Heng Vanilla as a DPS Duo with Welt, which is the best way to do it.

Yeah, bootycheeks deserves first place (till feixiao arrives with her crew), but ratio being over topaz is very weird when you consider everything, topaz is far more future proof and can be put in many teams AND can be main dps, while ratio have one thing to do, deal damage to imaginery enemies Just with the fact that you use ratio for one thing should put him down on the list (at least under topaz) , and sure you can put the "he was free" in there but only for those who played before 2.2, and just being free will not bring incrased value for him, so that boat just left, I feel like topaz being good for, jingyuan, ratio, clara, yunli, jade, yanqing (yes even with him), robin, (coming 2.5 feixiao) just without a word incrases her value for being able to buff most of the limited characters, and sure, ratio have more f2p friendly builds with many 4* debuffer, but on the long run, her being able to buff follow up by 50% dmg is huge and gives much more value And topaz have like the 3-4th best break efficiency
i mean, topaz is so future proof that i think there can even be an arguement for her to be first place. if u don't want leak, don't read the next part according to leak, many future character will be summon oriented character so topaz will be perfect for the meta considering her debuff ability and to have a summon herself and she is very, very sp friendly as well
Thats a fair argument, i think we just prioritize things differenetly. For most topaz teams as a sub dps, she needs either e1 or s1 to be visibly better than a premium support as an alternative. Like yes you can run her with JY, but giving JY Robin or Ruan Mei is probably better for the average account. Whereas comparing that with Ratio’s ability to work with so little while still clearing comfortably, i value that higher. But you are right that overtime topaz might be more future proof and would eventually take the #2 spot, hell maybe that’ll happen with Feixiao, time will tell. For right now, in isolation, i think ratio is just more useful in moc or apocalyptic shadow, you need to concede a team slot and find a reason to use topaz on a team, where ratio is the ultimate comfort pick that lets your second team be super flexible. That’s how i justify it, anyways
what if another harmony (like robin) releases in the future which will put topaz as a sidegrade? after all, in the robin/topaz banner, most people who wanted to pull for a fua team skipped topaz for robin instead since robin is more versatile (can be used in any team) and her buffs more efficient than topaz. now what if there was another fua harmony/debuffer? in a team like ratio(or feixiao)/topaz/robin/aventurine who would you replace for that fua support? because tbh i don't see robin going away. this is me saying this because it is hypothesized that sunday may be an imaginary harmony unit. even if he isn't, a unit like robin will still release in the future and their respective buffs/debuffs may outvalue topaz's 50% fua damage debuff.
ngl i think even after Feixiao boothill will still be the best his teams are more versatile due to his increasing number of options (Luka Ruan Bronya Gallagher) while Feixiao not only is very expensive but her damage is very backloaded due to her ult, not to mention she basically needs Robin to work the most f2p feixiao team i can think off is Feixiao March 7th Hunt edition Gallagher with multiplication and Bronya (for even more f2p go hanya)
Idk if feixiao will be better than him. Maybe better screenshot damage but overall most likely less. I've seen them both fight hoolay and he decimated him while she took a while
March has been doing really well with my Clara. With her counter, she generates lots of stacks for making it quick for March to gain her enhanced basic
i'm the biggest seele defender and I invested a lot of resources on her (still do). However I agree with you, Seele is really good but the amount of investment you need to put into her can get insane, her best team has 4 premium units (sparkle, silver wolf, fuxuan and seele). You need to really love seele to do this crazy investment
other units than can make her shine in case you don't have those listed are ruan mei (universal buffer), robin (best atk buffer + advance), bronya (in case of no sparkle), tingyun (she's really good with seele for PF) and you can skip silver wolf if you have quantum weak enemies. If you want some new team with her apart from classic hypercarry, you can use Jade for double DPS (best if jade has E1, and yes I see the problem that barely anyone will get E1 Jade) or you can use jiaoqiu (universal debuffer, alternative to harmony). still, you need to invest a lot on her since most alternatives I listed are still premium... i guess only seele lovers will do all of this to keep her afloat
@@longps9528 this isn't a teirlist of current meta. This is a teirlist of power and versatility. Ratio is strong now because his best team is strong, and Topaz is part of that team. Remove him from that team and replace him with any other FUA character, it would still work. Meanwhile Ratio will have a problem outside his best team.
@@ryuuraga1619 his best team right now is the IRS team with Topaz, Aventurine, and Robin, yet people have been able to clear 3* Apocalyptic Shadows even with none of those 3 supporting him. I say he's doing fine even without Topaz.

Her ult is realy bursty but she does no damage besides her ult, Topaz current purpose on meta is being carried by Ratio. Dreamy had a higher score using March instead of Topaz on the current AS rotation for the IPC comp...
Just going to note that Boot's break dmg is actually capped at x16 his toughness of his basic atk. So that number can be as high as 400 toughness (if you add the talent efficiency) or as low as 160 toughness which just so happens to be argenti's toughness, but in a dream Boot has been smashing this other boss with a higher toughness stat than argenti (240 toughness) which makes me believe that boots talent scales up to 400 toughness, so we haven't even seen peak performance from this man yet lmao! I can't wait to see what a 400 toughness boss would be when we crack it open.
The resurgence mechanic is just so broken that it has kept seele a year old character and has lower scaling compared to more modern dps a solid unit who can clear every single content in the game. Unless hoyo release a character who can take an extra turn and has higher scaling the queen will never disappear among the sea of butterflies becoming a illusion of the past
You have a nice voice. I disagree on Seele/March, both of them are good on all 3 end-game modes compared to Ratio/Boothill. They are def more versatile character (especially march). Personally i would put it like this S: Boothil, Topaz, Seele A: Ratio, March B: Sushang (superbreak go brr) C: YanKING D: dh Edit: said i disagree on march and didnt change her position lol

Seele needs very high investment more than Ratio, Ratio hyper can 0 cycle regardless you do not need ipc team, I play it and it is just a sidegrade of hyper Ratio. I'll be honest, seele can barely oneshot moc 12 bosses and that is where her main dmg source comes from. Let's say Seele ult does 200k while Ratio does 160k per fua. Talk about frequency, Ratio will outperform her since his dmg comes from his fua that you can trigger twice or thrice every cycle as long as there are enough debuffs. Sure he might be replaced by feixiao or something in ipc team but his hyper team is also good. His value might increase with future debuffers and harmony. Ipc team is just a sidegrade for him, he is usable in any other team except break. Ratio is better than her in AS and MOC, the only one she is better is PF. Which literally just use Herta or Himeko. Seele still keeps up with current units but she is not better than Ratio unless you have like E2 sparkle and unrelatable relics, even so Ratio still outperforms her. I would say she's better at e0s0 but if e0s1 Ratio negs her.
To be fair, Yanqing is a very solid unite and many people judge him before playing him or at least watching a showcases of him . Is he as broken as boothill ? No, but he is a solid unite if played correctly.
@@codewallette Honestly he doesn't need the FUA at E1 as long as we get a great ice support with high freeze application and his E1 dude would be a good enough dps with 310% on skill alone and 440% on ULT and 450% of his atk with skill+FUA and 580% on ULT+FUA.
My Seele is still by far the best build character. Maybe that's why she is still one of the most useful chars i have and had utility in alle 3 endgame mode and universe modes. For me she was the best investment i have above all my chars, but sure, she is so good build because i have her that long.
Fun fact about Ratio: His and Robin’s techniques gets rid of the other’s. Robin’s destroys the statue along with the taunt, and Ratio’s cancels Robin’s buff.
Boothill carried me so hard through this game, with him i first tried both aventurine and both sunday fights. Still sad that i started playing in 2.2 so i couldnt get dr. Ratio, though.
I have a really fucked up topaz who's really fast, has insane raw attack and crit damage (in the 200%s before buffs) but then like, I think either 40 or 60% crit rate I don't remember and she's also made of paper. E0S1 btw
Putting Seele below the "Have many uses" tier is a criminal offense. My only limited DPSs so far are Seele and Jingliu. The other two are Dr. Ratio and Himeko who are both F2P options. And Seele always clears one side of Pure Fiction, MoC since 1.0, and Apocalyptic Shadow. And I cleared every Simulated Universe game mode. She basically works in every content. And to say she has many uses. And as if the consumes a lot of skill points isn't a natural case for Hunta units except Topaz.
I came here with my biases in check that Ratio was probably going to be Awkward but usable or even Has a lot of Uses, but man, consider me smug now. Based take, Based video.
tbh i think dan heng being below yanqing is unfair bc dan heng is still easier to build plus he doesn't require any specific characters like how yanqing requires a shielder i think yanqing being so frustrating to build as a character and hard to team build makes him the worst hunt unit dan heng is better bc he has more options for teams and doesn't have anything in his kit that makes him unplayable like yanqing whose crit rate buff is way too high to the point you either have to suffer from no damage outside his ult or negate his ult buff and lower his crit dmg to be able actually do damage making dan heng do damage isn't this frustrating and assuming dan heng is e6 i've even seen ppl get almost 400k out of him ofc the team needs robin or ruan mei and bronya or sparkle for that (can still use other supports but damage drops so these are his best) so dan heng is still toward the bottom with sushang and yanqing is worse

really? cause it actually felt strong in my part and that was mostly without tingyun and just sticking with Pela and Guinafen, with tingyun i could possibly reach higher numbers but i couldn't cause i would be scared of debuff consistency. maybe check your talents levels. galag is also helpful as a f2p since he also applies debuffs which is pretty much a thing when it comes to ratio's damage.
I'd personally place Topaz above Dr. Ratio as it's pretty annoying having to deal with his debuff mechanics since it'll be tougher on enemies that are fast, can cleanse themselves, or even takes Multiple turns resulting in the debuff being removed causing his damage potential to significantly drop and the consistency to be lower. Dr. Ratio should also be ranked lower as he isn't free anymore, his biggest boon was that he was free but now he isn't which turns his value significantly lower by having more restrictions of teams compared to Topaz.
No, Ratio is better than her in every ways but tbh they should not even be compared because of different roles. Both are not worth to pull on rerun and pulling a harmony unit especially future ones are always a better choice than topaz. Heck they might even outdamage the synergy she has with future follow up units. Both Topaz and Ratio are not worth pulling on rerun but Ratio is better than her, there might even be a chance that hyper Ratio can outdamage topaz's buff for future fua units if he gets replaced (Yes let's be honest, she does not dmg 💀). Pull for someone who will benefit your account instead of only being able to be used in one team. E0S0 topaz is just not a unit, sure she might be usable for fua units that don't need debuffs but a harmony unit is always a better choice than her. I play ipc team but I really don't recommend pulling. Future fua units might do the exact same thing as her and actually do more dmg. Also do not get me wrong, I also don't recommend pulling Ratio in rerun for those who don't have him unless they want e0s1 because his lc is just so good of an upgrade that makes him able to keep up with future dps.
I pulled Boothill for two reasons. Reason 1 is because *funny cyborg cowboy eat bullet heheh* and reason 2 is because he impairs Physical weakness lmao I was going to use him as a debuffer in my Argenti comp 💀😭
Topaz and Ratio's ranks should've been swapped I see a lot of accounts that, even given for free, their Ratio is rotting at lvl 20/40(for the standard ticket) and never been touched. And these account use premium FUA teams, without Ratio
(Yeah yeah I know Topaz is hot, everyone gonna pull their pitchfork on me but I'm telling the truth. Pulling for topaz is not good advice. I'm gonna yap a bit but before replying read till the end.) For the people who say Topaz should be ranked higher than Ratio, I'll say this as someone who plays ipc team. Ratio hyper is still very good, with his signature lc of course since it boosts him so much. Topaz at e0s0 is just not a unit and not worth pulling. Pull for future harmony units or nihility that can actually benefit your account instead of only being usable for 1 team. Both Ratio and topaz are not worth pulling on rerun for those who didn't have them unless they really like Ratio and decided to pull e0s1, but for Ratio, he can be used hyper and still dish out dmg as long as u have a nihility, heck I even use him with Gallagher + Robin + tingyun and able to 0 cycle. (Robin is just so good, yeah anyone can do that with her but tbh she should be in your account by now. If not its fine) Topaz on the other hand does no dmg, only usable for fua comps and there might be future fua units that will do the exact same thing as her and even better or they actually do dmg. Pulling for future units are always better than topaz. She is not even good with counter characters so it's really not worth pulling for her. Pela is literally right there, a freaking free 4 star unit that has been available for 2 selectors by now. I really don't understand what excuse you have, unless u have acheron, then just straight up skip fua team and use her since she is so OP for you. I have both acheron and Ratio and I've been using both just fine. Like I said, both are not worth to pull on rerun. Yeah sure try pulling topaz on rerun and just watch as the banner after her is a harmony or nihility unit that can do follow up attacks and outperform her in fua team comps, as Ratio's value grow even higher and she is just only usable for fua teams. The fua team is just fun, not worth to get and expensive, I'd recommend e0s1 Ratio over them. At least he is usable in any team (except for break). You guys are acting like Jiaoqiu will be the last nihility unit that comes out. Pull for someone that actually will benefit your account instead of only being usable in one team and do no dmg. What if Feixiao can perform just as well with march 7 and possibly Moze(idk yet) So instead, prioritize future harmony/nihility instead of topaz. If you like her, then pull but recommending her is not good advice.

@@penmustache283 nah, TOpaz is just worser and a sidegrade. Ratio is faster as a Hyper carry, March is better as a subdps(by 1 AV but it's still a free unit gaping a limited 5*) as Dreamy cleared faster with March instead of TOpaz in the IPC comp.
BTW, unlike the Topaz shillers, i actualy main Topaz, i actualy test things and her comps, i actualy do Topaz 0 cycles. She's just a sidegrade at everything, only a upgrade at E1S1, but at that point just pull E1S0 Robin for a cheaper and stronger upgrade. Topaz sucks and that's a fact, but a character being bad doesn't matter. If you know what you are doing you will be able to allways clear content even with shitty characters, what matters is that you pull for who you like and don't lie to others saying that X character is better than they realy are.
