The online version of Thots Prayer clears the offline version imo. It’s cool the sample is more implemented into the song but the auto tuned singing sounds much more off key and it also feels incomplete unlike the online version.
I get not including the Devon hendryx material (despite a lot of it being some of his best in my eyes), but not including ep, ep2, STH dlc, communist slow jams, 2nd amendment, darkskin Manson, as well as not on veteran is a bruh No hate, I’m just saying Along with that, have you had time to sit with his albums? I get how you feel on a lot of them (they feel bloated, very long, etc.), but after multiple (and i mean multiple relistens) they feel cleaner and much more tame and easy to listen to. Like AMHAC and Veteran on first listen feel like long messy experiences that i liked, but didn’t fully get. Now though, i could turn them on and enjoy, simple as. One of the reasons why i loved his old Devon shit more than his new stuff at first was because most of those projects were short and too the point, almost no bloat. I’m talking so much cause jpeg is literally my favorite artist oat, and i just want people to see his range and overall artistry
I completely get the confusion of me not including the EPs, deluxe, collab with Freaky, and his Peggy mixtapes, but it's mainly because I didn't want to make the video too long. I'll probably redo the video in the future and include those when his new record drops. About NOT ON VETERAN! I honestly didn't know that existed so that's on me. And, yeah while I did complain about his records being bloated, LP! especially is one that's grown on me the most. Some of the songs can blur together on your first listen but all of them have their own identity and aspects I wanna listen to at some times. Score wise, it's gone from a light 8 to a decent 9 for me. But yeah, his projects do tend to be ones that take a minute to digest
@@musicallyoptimistic i get that then. Especially if you’re going to go all in and talk about how you feel on albums, you don’t wanna drag out the runtime fs. Not on veteran is fun, some of the singles he has on streaming like puff daddy are on it.
