After the release of Kanye West's new album Vultures 1, there is no better time to rank one of the most legendary yet polarizing discographies in all of hip hop...
@@leandroportillo1234lol dude no way u just compare those two. one of em changes the industry countless times. other one is just a pop artist. i dare drake to make is own yeezus or 808s. they are not even close man.
Kanye West is a Top 5 artist for me because of how he is able to completely reinvent himself and change his style over time and he can make himself a completely new artist with a new album, you never know what to expect with a Kanye album, and that's what keeps him so interesting for me, even if he's declining in quality lately. His creativity is to a different level of most other rappers out there.
@@leviaxl513 As it is, I don't doubt that the “decrease in quality” was intentional in order to release an album in the future that will be a mix of MBDTF, Graduation, Late Registration and Life of Pablo. Basically the best hip-hop album of all time. Coming back with those memorable and timeless beats. Man, I don't doubt it, he's unpredictable
@@Contemplatingspider idk if your saying that graduation is really good or that i ranked it too high but imo i think its his best other than mbdtf since theres no misses on the album (i like drunk and hot girls) but idk.
nah not really i mean think about it, 808s is not a very great listen from front to back u got tracks that kinda fall off short like see u in my nightmares, robo cop and bad news so tbh i can see it being kinda low yk
I was like 3-5, but I still agree. I can still remember when I was 7-8, hearing those songs in the car with my parents back when they were still married. Very nostalgic, and even after listening to it a ton and having that nostalgia wear off, it's still just great in general.
My Ranking TCD 10 MBDTF 10 Graduation 9.9 LR 9.8 TLOP 9 808s 8.9 Yeezus 8.7 KSG 8.5 DONDA 8.4 Ye 7.8 WTT 7.8 Vultures 7.6 JIK 7 Not heard cruel summer but it had hits like Mercy and Clique
my ranking is 1. The College Dropout (10/10) 2. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (10/10) 3. Graduation (9.5/10) 4. Late Registration (9.5/10) 5. Yeezus (9/10) 6. The Life of Pablo (8/10) 7. Watch The Throne (8/10) 8. 808s & Heartbreak (8/10) 9. Kids see Ghosts (7.5/10) 10. Donda (7.5/10) 11. Vultures 1 (7/10) 12. Ye (7/10) 13. Cruel Summer(7/10) 14. Jesus is King (7/10)
@@rogersveliu5947what hurts Late Registration to me is the messy arrangement of the tracks and being long for no reason. Certain songs didn't need to be there imo
Bad album, poorly mixed, and what Kanye said about Jews should have him be banned and go to prison for probably the only good song on here is burn but it’s still a 3/10
Donda is musically better. The only problem with it is that it’s very bloated (has way too many unnecessary songs). But songs like hurricane, life of the party, heaven and hell and come to life beat all the songs on 808s. The only reason I see someone ranking 808s above donda would be due to its cultural impact in hip hop
1. Late Registration 2. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy 3. The College Dropout 4. Graduation 5. The Life Of Pablo 6. Yeezus 7. Watch The Throne 8. Kids See Ghosts 9. 808s & Heartbreak 10. ye 11. Donda 12. Vultures I 13. Jesus Is King
I still don’t get why people hate on drunk and hot girls it’s better than most of his songs it’s just not as good as the rest of the songs in graduation cuz it’s his best album imo
My ranking is: 1) MBDTF (10) 2) TCD (10) 3) LR (10) 4) KSG (9) 5) TLOP (9) 6) Graduation (9) 7) Yeezus (9) 8) 808s (8) 9) Ye (8) 10) Donda (8) 11) WTT (8) 12) Vultures 1 (7) 13) JIK (6) This is a very valid list too tho. Better than most I see.
I subscribed after I seen you ranked yeezus as top 5. it’s my favourite ye album, it’s also been the back bone of all his recent albums. People in the comments are saying Donda but that sound came from yeezus. I think the future will call it ye best album.
1) My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy 2) Graduation 3) The Life of Pablo 4) The College Dropout 5) Late Registration 6) Yeezus 7) Kids See Ghosts 8) Donda 9) 808s & Heartbreak 10) Vultures 11) Watch the Throne 12) ye 13) Cruel Summer 14) Jesus is King ps. ye is a masterclass just for the notes
what i love about Donda is the fact that hella people put the album in a playlist and changed the track order bc of how much of a mess Universal left it in lmao
Amazing list! I would have donda a bit higher and Yeezus a bit lower. But I’m so glad to see someone finally go against the grain and put LR above TCD. Plus most people either like old or new Kanye more, but I appreciate that you see each era for what it is.
MBDTF is somehow still incredibly underrated while being overwhelmingly loved. I don’t think people comprehend how perfect that album is, it’s audible artwork.
Controversial take: 1.) TLOP 2.) 808s 3.) College dropout 4.) Graduation 5.) Ye 6.) Kids See Ghosts 7.) Yeezus 8.) Donda 9.) Late Registration 10.) MBDTF 11.) Vultures 12.) Jesus is King 13.) Watch the Throne
Kanye West is the goat for me coz he is very creative he doesn't shy away from being out of the box and experimenting with various styled beats that are soulful, jazzy, gospel influenced and it's very dope and not to mention his choice of featured artists it is ground-breaking and he's not limiting himself as each artist has his/her style he infuses that with his own style, I personally think the top 3 could've been 1. The College Dropout, 2. The Life Of Pablo, 3. Graduation. Those are my picks.❤ But your RU-vid Catalogue is very dope bro it's highly relevant.
Being creative and not being scared on taking risks making hit records that also have that classic feel to them and on top of that..having a real message is what makes kanye west a genius. Not many artist in music history have 10 classic albums 7 of his own and 3 as a producer for the rappers albums below.. Jay z - the blueprint Common - Be Pusha T - Daytona kanye has 84 platinum songs out of 184 songs 75 Grammy nominations.. the 4th most ever kanye won 24 Grammy's in total. Classics 🎖 Mainstream success 🎖 Critically acclaimed 🎖 All huge achievements it's super rare and kanye has influenced pretty much everyone we listen to. You can hate the man but you can't deny his one of a kind legendary career.
I never watched a video ranking so wrong, Im speechless, This narrator literally said he talks about his pain in almost every album he explains , Chief MY DARK TWISTED FANTASY he doesnt talk about his pain , but his twisted fantasy , #SMH
1. VULTURES 1 (Recency bias) 2. Graduation (would be 1 if Bittersweet poetry was on it) 3. MBDTF (good and means a lot to Kanye and is very grand but overated) 4. TCD (Timeless) 5. KSG (love this duo) 6. 808s (so inspirational to rap) 7. Watch the Throne 8. JIK (very underrated, it’s different and that’s Kanye. His music is him and he’s always changing) 9. TLOP (would be better without some unnecessary tracks like silver surfer and freestyle 4) 10. Yeezus (different) 11. Donda 2 (would be lower I just convincing myself it’s better because I payed $70 for it) 12. Donda (too long and crowded with unnecessary tracks) 13. ye (Either the song is a 10/10 or 0/10) 14. Late registration (wildest ye take ever, but I just have never really loved it and being in between TCD and graduation it is bad) 15. Deluxe Donda (just adds unnecessary songs) 16. Deluxe WTT (same as deluxe Donda) 17. Cruel summer (Technically a collab album but not a fan)
Am I the only fan who likes "Drunk and Hot Girls"? The Can interpolation (how many rap artist know who Can is?) and the lyrics of being surrounded by shallow and opportunistic hangers on.
That was a good list man I’m happy to see TLOP on number 2! My favorite!!! I think 808s should’ve been higher. And yes he does in fact have the greatest catalog of all time
Watch the Throne at 12 is crazy. "Niggas in Paris" is one of the greatest rap songs of all time. Otis, Murder to Excellence, No Church in the Wild, That's My Bitch, Gotta Have It. I'm hurt.
My Ranking Would Be 1. Graduation 2. The College Dropout 3. MBDTF 4. Late Registration 5. KIDS SEE GHOSTS 6. 808's & Heartbreak 7. The Life Of Pablo 8. Watch The Throne 9. Yeezus 10. VULTURES 1 11. ye 12. Donda 13. JESUS IS KING
1. Graduation 2. Late Registration 3. MBDTF 4. College Dropout 5. 808s 6. Life of Pablo 7. Kids See Ghosts 8. Donda 9. Vultures 10. Watch The Throne 11. Yeezus 12. Ye 13. Jesus Is King My list is way better than his 11.
1. MBDTF 2. Graduation 3. College dropout 4. Late registration 5. Tlop 6. Yeezus 7. Ye 8. Watch the Throne 9. Donda 10. Jesus is King 11. Vultures 12. 808s 13. Kids see ghosts
The fact that his name means the only one he really is one of a kind lol, the only rapper that’s actually up there with the greatest artist of all times list especially at a time where rappers were only focus on gansta rhymes and banging beats. Ye different man it’s mj then Kanye for me in terms of artist of all time.
Thught on my ranking: 13- Jesus is king (2019) 12-Ye (2018) 11-Vultures (2024) 10-Donda (2021) 9-Watch the throne (2011) _________________________________ 8- 808 and heartbreak (2008) 7-Late registration (2005) 6-The life of pablo (2016) 5-Kids see ghosts (2018) ------------------------------------------------------- 4-Yeezus (2013) 3-My beautiful dark twisted Fantasy (2010) 2-The collage dropout (2004) 1-Graduation (2007) (The lines represent where there are significantly big jumps in quality)

Yeah as someone who used to be a fan of Kanye, it’s actually insane to see his fans grow to have an ego the size of his. How in any way shoe or form is vultures even remotely better then bad is next level glazing that I thought I’d only see from drake and Taylor swift fans
@@kianmalley595 well it is glazing when the guy does nothing but suck off every album in this video even the ones that are genuinely mediocre and aren’t special at all.
I love all of them but for me it’s probably this 1. MBDTF (10) 2. College Dropout (10) 3. Late Registration (10) 4. Yeezus (10) 5. Graduation (10) 6. The Life of Pablo (9) 7. 808s & Heartbreak (9) 8. Hello these are my first listens on every Kanye song I’ll update as soon I finished an album. Kanye West Ranking College Dropout- 9.8/10 a really amazing album, the only song that I didn’t really was Never Let Me Down, it made me knock down some points; overall it’s one of the best albums that I’ve heard. Late Registration- 10/10 This is now in my top 10 favorite albums of all time, it’s like literally perfect, no fillers just straight to the bangers, while artistically I prefer College Dropout, but this album is more fun to listen all the way. Graduation- 9.4/10 Really good album, but it kinda slowed down after drunken hot girls In my opinion, but I do like most of the album. 808’s and Heartbreak- 7.5/10 I don’t really like this one mainly due to the experimental microphone that feels out of place with most of the album, the stand out track to me are Heartless, Paranoid, Robocop, and Pinocchio Story (I do like the idea of the song being live, but i wish it’s a studio thing). My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy- 9.1/10 They still use the experimental mic, but this time it doesn’t feel out of place for me. They’re no bad tracks with this album, and I like how unsettling the album is even the OG album cover is very unsettling, the Chris Rock bit from Blame Game is unsettling. Watch the Throne 6.9/10 The first 4 songs (No Church in the Wild, Lift off, Fellas in Paris, and Otis) are pretty good songs, and after that it’s kinda boring to listen to, except for the part in Who Gon Stop Me when Kayne said “This is something like the holocaust” that made me laugh a little a bit ironically. Should i listen to Cruel Summer a compilation album or should just skip right into Yeezus?
Mine would go from worst to best, jik, ksg, wtt, ye, donda, 808s, vultures, yeezus, lr, tlop, graduation, cd, Mbdtf. I really enjoyed listening to vultures but over time it might fall down lower
Credibility, really man. What does that even mean. Music is subjective, and everyone's list is different. I can tell you are insecure about your music tastes
My ranking 1. Late Registration 2. The Life of Pablo 3. The College Dropout 4. Yeezus 5. 808s and Heartbreak 6. Kids See Ghosts 7. Graduation 8. Ye 9. Donda 10. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy 11. Watch the Throne 12. Vultures 1 13. Jesus is King 4 ,5, 6 and 7 are interchangeable because they are all great. Donda has some of his best work but also has too many tracks and is more all over the place than TLOP. I thought Vultures 1 was terrible on first listen, but it grew on me a little.
My Ranking (Studio Solo Albums): 1. Graduation 2. Late Registration 3. 808s and Heartbreak 4. The Life of Pablo 5. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy 6. The College Dropout 7. Yeezus 8. Ye 9. Donda 10. Jesus is King
