2009 was peak athleticism Lebron 2013 was the most complete version of Lebron 2017 was a combination of 13 and 16 Lebron 2018 was genuinely God mode Lebron that proved even without a super team he was still Lebron mf James those was personally my favorite Lebron years, great video as always‼️
Bro LeBron went demon mode in 2018. I think he should have won MVP. The playoffs proved as much. Remember that ECF game against Boston on the road where he pretty much scored all of the Cavs points in the first quarter? Dude was in his bag. He hit like 3-4 fadeaway shots from the 3pt line that in the 1st quarter. I couldn’t believe what i was watching. Accurate depiction. He def went LeGoat mode that year! 🐐😈
The thing that makes 2018 better than 2017, was he was essentially playing alone by that point, with Kai gone and KLove regressing, the mess that team was in the first half of the season with IT and Dwade, him reaching the finals while putting the no skill, not clutch and needs a superteam debates to rest all at the same time was special man
@@boubacardiallo5945but if we’re going strictly off of performance than 2018 is clearly better.Had a higher volume and was still almost as Efficient as he was in 2017.
@@LetMeEatDem fax what’s funny is those early teams he was carrying at 22, people don’t understand that each year those teams won 50 60+ games, they overachieved, that roster was not fit to compete in any form but one person was the reason why they were relevant, why they was in contention. All the times he lost I mean Jordan went through the exact same thing pre Pippen but one gets a pass and the other just gets bashed even though he made it farther with less help😂
2021 Bron in D Tier Is Total Disrespect he was #1 In the MVP Race and was getting DPOY consideration before he got hurt Lakers were #2 in the conference before AD and His injuries. Should be at least where 2019 is at
Some people just be letting the narratives get in their head especially with the recency bias. Also nostalgia is overshadowing that season as well cause all this “washed” talk started literally THAT YEAR when they lost in the 1st RD
I don’t discredit the ring for the same reason you said but it was 1. Boring having no fans And 2. Not one of the two hardest championships ever like lebron said it was. His words make ppl haters. His game doesn’t.
it has to be contextualized if you're being objective. there was a 4 month break in the middle of the season then they came back for like 10 games and then went straight into the playoffs. if the nba had a full offseason and then announced the season was only going to be 10 games instead of 82 and then right into playoffs people wouldn't look at that the same as a regular championship, why is the bubble any different? i don't really care about there not being fans there and that nonsense but the break in the middle of the season and then the short amount of games for teams to get back in a rhythm definitely differentiates it from every other title in nba history.
@@ykg2393so did everyone else???? being young and getting more rest is BETTER. tf are you on? are you saying younger teams that beat older teams have a asterisk around it now?
@@ykg2393I would argue the team that hosts Kawhi Leonard the guy with degenerative knee issues benefited more. If you gonna try argue because they have injuries in later years then you can also look towards the shortened offseason that caused it. Again they were 21-7 pre ad injury and again one of the best in the league but the offseason was so short they barely got time to rest which you probably would choose to ignore when talking about their injuries
@@beng5662 you cant try and be the smart guy and be objectively wrong. We won 59 games in 2017-2018. It was the winningest season we ever had, and still is. In 2018, the raps won 59 games, wich at the time was the best we have ever done. Obviously we won it all a year later but we werent talking about that.
@@DatBoiGloomy buddy u said it was our best season to date but the year they won the chip was our best season to date. They were clearly better with kawhi during regular season and of course the playoffs and it has been proven by the chip. I can’t believe I had to state the obvious
In all fairness the lakers in 2019 were a top 3 seed then Lebron got injured and they lost something like 17 games when he was gone and there was no shot to make the playoffs. Lebron was great that year
@@andrewlynch9586wrong go look at early season record. They were actually a projected like 5th seed and were on track to hit that until the Bron injury.
I will stand by 2013 as Bron's best season. Because of his defense, shooting efficiency and post up footwork. 56% from the field and 40 from 3 is some Jokic level efficiency.
It’s definitely 2013. He was a sniper and an all time defender. Also he was LeBron the tank going to the rim, and really played great off ball too. Literally flawless and had clutch moments aswell.
I’ve been watching the nba since 1981, going to games and seeing the greatest of all time play their careers out. I’ve had season tickets to laker games for years now. With that said, kobe is not better than lebron. I’m sorry.
if u still think kobe better than bron it’s just nostalgia or your bias, bron is statistically better only thing kobe got is mamba mentality and 5 rings
The biggest change I saw in Lebron was his able to control his body over time. Those 07-12 years were phenomenal especially from a physicality standpoint but once he got under control things were just different
2009 is arguably LeBron's best season, that is clear of anything besides 2013, 2018, and 2016. 2016 is carried hard by the finals, 09 was better everywhere else.
2013 bron clears. 2nd in DPOY voting. 56% from the floor and 40% from 3 Put up 27/8/7 on 64% true shooting when the league average was 53.5... Led the heat to a 66-16 record and the chip. Was 1 vote away from being the first unanimous MVP ever but some moron decided to give it to Carmelo
I will die on this hill, but i've been trying to tell people that the 2017 cavs are one of the best teams to not win a championship. The greatness and dominance of that team is forgotten because they ran into the KD Warriors. At the very least, this team is MUCH better than 2016
2022 & 2023 LeBron is like overpowered with skill. His athleticism and speed hasn’t changed much, but he uses it sparingly. When it comes to his midrange, footwork, finishing ability, IQ, and even dunks still, he’s reached a point where he does what he wants. Not only that, he has turned himself into a pure scorer; hence why he’s averaging 30 PPG over his last two seasons. I would put 2022 in the B or A category, even though they missed the playoffs; but 2023 was unquestionably a B-grade season, which is crazy for a 38 year-old.
On god i would love a Tim Duncan Ranking every season video, thatd be so chill 40 mins of tim duncan talk, a player IMO who kinda doesnt get mentioned a lot these days (not bad since thats what he wants, but younger fans really forgetting how good Timmy was)
That 2018 raptors was a really good team, the only reason why nobody talks about them as a good team is bc lebron completely broke them. They were the best team in the east (bc the Celtics were injured) but lebron swept them so nobody thinks of them like that. A lot of the things that won them the chip the next year started in that season.
Ur argument on 2017 vs 18 is kinda dumb💀no we hype up that yea cuz he was just BETTER, had the memorable moments, still carried to the finals …..oh yea and HE DIDNT HAVE KYRIE💀💀💀
Yo, I would put 2023 in A. Just for the iconic stuff that happened. He passed Kareem during this season, he silenced Brooks and the Grizzlies (he never really had this kind of disrespect thrown at him, that's why I feel it's a great moment in his career) and he also beat Steph and the Warriors when they had kind of "even" rosters. Yeah they got beat by the Nuggets in 4, but still reached the WCF.
No bullshit. You could put 2023 there, too. 29 PPG, 8 REB, 7 AST. His three-point shot was off, but his defense was elite. He also lead them to the WCF & was Top 5 in about all Advanced Stats. Underrated season.
God set out to create the perfect basketball player. He gave him all the physical tools necessary to dominate the game. His name was Lebron James. Once Lebron was born, God realized “oh sh*t, I forgot to give him a mid-range pull-up and a clutch gene” 😂😂
@@Ghost-rb6cw Lebron played more games than Jordan. STAYISTICALLY, Lebron is less efficient than Jordan in the last 30 seconds of an NBA game when each field goal they attempted during that time period is sampled. There is also Larry Bird who is significantly more clutch than Lebron. Yes, both Bird and Jordan played less total games than Lebron due to retirement. But there is no way you can unironically argue Lebron is more clutch than those players. With Lebron vs Kobe you have an argument
Do either mj or Kobe. I am a Jordan fan yes. And yes mj’s won’t be as interesting because all bulls seasons will be B minimum and the wizard years are the only ones you can put teir f Minus minus
That’s absolutely not how that logic works…why? Well Chris Bosh wasn’t there in 2012 that’s why they went 7 the other BOS-Heat series between the 2 weren’t really as close
@@ryanstyle8862 just such a weird argument to make. They never played together at younger ages. All 3 of them were already towards the end of their prime.
