Zombies don't have many specific archetypes iirc, the ones that I remember off the top of my head are vamps and shiranui. But zombies are very good because they synergize so well with each other

Zombies are S tier. They keep getting support and handtraps We had Lightsworn, Synchro,Otk, Zombie Horde, Eldlich. Handtraps They also have arguably the best type support outside reptiles and dragons. Jack o Bolan, Balerdroch, Bloom, Avendread, Sucker, Fraulein, The Zukis, Shiranui Solitaire/Uni Zombie and Eldlich which is nice OTK material.

Dont forget Elemental Hero's for Warrior Type and Kin Tele Undead for zombies. Kin-tele-undead used Brionac loop with Card of Safe Return with Mezuki etc etc. It was really broken

If we're talking about what has the best type-specific support, then the most overpowered type is definitely dragons. Second is probably warriors. Third is spellcasters, solely because of spellbooks. Beast-warrior, and most of that is just fire formations and glad beasts. I feel like I would have to put reptile next, purely because of how insane snake rain would be if a good reptile deck existed. Psychics have a ton of really good support cards. Rocks have a couple good cards. Block dragon. Block golem. Wyrms have a surprising amount of good support cards. There just aren't any wyrm decks that abuse them.
tbf Thunder Dragons for a while was more of an engine in a dragon deck or just a mash of decks. Anyone else remember the Crusadia-Chaos-Danger-Thunder-Guardragon decklist that was topping for a hefty chunk of time?
Dragon buster turbo... but tbh Dragon had so many good decks and good cards they literally invent wyrm to make more "dragons" but not to OP with all that dragon support. He didnt even mentioned blue eyes wich has won worlds and was meta for like 6 Months and also was meta back in the OG days as Blue eyes beat down. He didnt even mentioned teledad which only was broken because of Dark Armed Dragon. He didnt even mentioned the ton of bossmonster who were dragon. If there was a S+ tier it would probably be Beast-Warriors, Warriors,Dragons and Spellcasters.
I think Beast Warrior and Dino are a bit isolated to be ranked so high. I can't justify ranking Beast Warrior higher than Fiend when for a long time you couldn't play a game vs any deck without seeing a Fiend. Sangan, Gorz, Caius, Tour Guide, while it was a long time ago, dominated for so long and impacted every deck. GB and Zoo had their stints, especially GB, but you can't say overall impact on the game is on the same league as Dragon/Warrior/Spellcaster. Also, Frog FTK is one of the strongest decks ever. Plus, Treeborn Frog was format defining for years. Frognarchs debut in 2009, relevant even in 2014. Just my 2 cents :D
Pyro and reptile shoulda been D. Also warrior is probably not the weakest S tier. The amount of times HERO has been tier 1 should be enough to put it at S easily, but there was also Six Samurai and Satellarknights at different points as well
Technically true though, the deck is a split dragon/thunder deck (Guardragons being dragon, Thunder Dragons being Thunder). Probably wasn't the greatest idea to throw mixed-type decks into the equation in the first place (I mean, even later he seemingly excluded Burning Abyss from the fiend category because of Dante).
And then to add even more confusion to it, he mentioned Shaddolls in the list of Spellcaster decks, despite most of their extra deck not being spellcaster.
Only reason I’d leave spellcasters in A tier is because of the lack of generic support. There isn’t good generic searchers like warrior or beast warrior

Gladiator beasts are all types the main ones are winged beasts and beast-warriors so you can’t really put them with beast-warriors. But the main playstyle now is *andal* into panther into attorix monster reborn/comeback into tamer editor and proceed to lööp it into 3+ negates
aqua should really be f tier literally none of mermails is aqua mostly serpents, also dinos and zombies are a bit too high no main zombie decks or dino decks, they all used ton of support from other archtypes and are more of a tech card
@@NeostormXLMAX I say zombie is fine where it is. Eldlich is obvious, but the amazing hand traps are mostly zombies, plus Mayakashi and Doomking were a solid rogue strat for a while, with Erebus and Necroface being solid cards in Monarch and Banish respectively.
Every single plant deck is like 1 card away from being immediately broken lol. They have so many insane cards, but not really any truly unfair card yet like every other type.
I mean if u actually base this list around just the actual typing Zombies has to be the best one literally every Zombie Support Card works with every zombie there is so from a pure typing is has To be the best
Yeah, Zombies have the best type-specific support in the entire game. It's so good that simply being Zombie-type automatically makes a card better than it would be otherwise.

Beast should have been B if not A considering where you put other types. They have some Glad Beasts including Test Tiger, Synchro Cat, X-Sabers, and Wind-Up
