It's quite comical how he talked about the potential of Pats and how they might be the most improved and then just explained Giants as Nabers & JAGs. My NYG homer take is that we will surprise most people this year. Yeah, Nabers is a dawg and he will feast if we get even decent QB play (that is a big if). But behind him, Slayton didn't need to be WR1, so he might pop. Wan'dale is seriously slept on. Dude tore his ACL rookie year, last year was still recovering and even then CeeDee is giving him props: "Wan'Dale Robinson from New York. He's so fast. He's so nice. His routes are crazy." Additionally, the potential of Hyatt is undeniable it the OL holds and we have time for longer routes. The TEs are a question mark. Bellinger can catch but he is not super special. But rookie Johnson is a RAS God so if the can hang in the league, the sky is the limit. So keep thinking we are the same old Giants, this year might surprise you guys
@@pattu16 slayton has peaked. Im not very high on hyatt. Wandale is a yac slot wr , bellinger is fine. What am i missing? Ne is ranked lower and has more players with upside than nyg. Plus proven vets like bourne henry and osborne
@@TheBottomLineView Slayton is still 27 so I wouldn't call him washed yet. Last year he had his career high in yds playing against CB1s with suspect QB and OL play. So this year, when Nabers will take attention, he might have a good year still. I think the biggest threat to his production is Hyatt since they play similar roles and the feel is that front office is trying to move on with younger players. Hyatt was not super impresive last year, I will admit that. Over 70% of his production came from 3 games, against Commanders, Cards and Patriots. But the biggest hindrance to his game was again QB and OL, so we will see if he has grown this year. Wan'Dale is quite comparable to Patriots Douglas, but I would still take Wan'Dale. As I said, this will be his first healthy year with knowledge of system so he might feast with Nabers taking heat from defense. I would take Nabers as WR1, Slayton as WR2 over the duo of Patriots. I think the potential is very comparable with both WR rooms being young. I hope you're not hating on NYG based on our Super Bowl history. Admittedly, the team has been shit for almost a decade and they will need to prove that they belong. Before that everything is just bullshit. I just think you might be underestimating the room, especially with Daboll now calling the plays with more focus on verticality. I don't want to be too negative, you make great content. Just want to give my 2 cents. We both have to wait until the play on the field before we can make any definite calls anyway. Thankfully the season is just around the corner!
@@pattu16 the giants suck period, taint no surprise they are competing for fourth place in the division, in fairness with 3other teams. This division is awful and been awful, mediocre news is the giants are in it as of now. The WR room isn’t relevant yet because they have no qb. I did pick the giants to absolutely slaughter the Vikings in the playoffs butden that was couple years ago.,. If U eat mcdonald’s and are a fan DOESNT mean anyone else should eat it or root for it because it’s cancerous smut, even if U like it doesn’t make it healthy or meaningful. Anden reimagine if nabers is more of a cat than a dog, then what?! Root for ur team butden understand no team has loyalty to anyone or anything cept money which isn’t even real.,. Patriots have arguably the worst WR room in the league PTF with no qb help none!? Lots of teams tanking with the intent to do so again this year, that nfl standard, if U taint a cheater well than U better start cheating cause that’s all we do and promote otherwise U just aren’t trying.l. Plus it’s in the rules…. GL enjoy the seasoning should be spicy this year
Wan'Dale wasn't even good before he tore his ACL. He wasn't even good in college either. Slayton is washed. From the little I saw from Hyatt, not very impressed, he's fast though, that's it. None of that really matter though because Daniel Jones is the QB. The worst part about it.. people still believe in him 😂
@@johnnyslokes2712 I gotta agree, the DJ experiment has already gone too long. But he is the QB of my team and I gotta cheer for him (at least for now). And he should have the best weapons and the best line of his NYG time, so I am hoping for a career resurgence this year close to 2022 level. But c'mon, Wan'Dale was a beast in Kentucky. He had over 1300 yds in SEC, the most ever in Wildcats' history. The last person before him in Kentucky with over 1000 yds in a season was Randall Cobb in 2010. He was small and that was the biggest question mark if he could hang in the NFL. But don't say he wasn't great, rather go check some of his highlights from college.
Another thing to keep in mind about Xaviour Worthy is that he only weighs 165 pounds lol 😂. One big time hit by Vonn Bell in week 2 will ring his bell and Put him on IR. And Holywood Brown is already hurt I believe.
@@TheBottomLineViewit’s actually Yo-si-vash. It doesn’t make sense but you switch the “s” and “sh” sounds. There’s a vid where he pronounced it himself and that’s what he said.
Lol funny that you say that about Trenton Irwin. He is from basically Hollywood and was a child actor growing up. He mostly did commercials. His dad is and was an actor too. But Trent decided to go a different way with his life. He was a 5star WR recruit out of HS highly recruited by programs all over the country and he went to Stanford and majored in I think some kind of engineering field I believe. Anyway he finished college and he was a good player at Stanford. Good players get overlooked every year in the draft. But by no means was Trent ready for Primetime when he got to the NFL. There aren’t many Jamar Chases and Justin Jefferson’s guys who just start setting record immediately after getting here. But he is a dam good solid WR and if I had to make a throw to win the game I would trust him to make the play and catch the ball.
Yea Iosivas was a 6th round pick out of Princeton. So we know he is smart. He played football and ran track and field for Princeton. He was the fastest guy in the Ivey league. He is a freak athlete. His Relative Athletic Score is 9.98. 10 is the highest that it goes. Last year he had 15 catches but 4 of them were TDs lol. 😂. And Trenton Irwin could be a WR 3 on any team in the NFL. I really believe that. There are some teams a couple of Them were he would be the WR2. He came from Stanford so again obviously smart but he reminds me of Adam Theilan. They were both UDFA’s. Irwin signed by the Dolphins then they cut him and he has been with us ever since. Last year was his first entire year of making the team being on the team. Before he would bounce back and forth from the practice squad to the team. He is just part of the team now. He is considered untouchable because of the value that he adds. Burrow trusts him implicitly and Irwin while blazingly fast can get open with route running and can separate when neccesary. He rarely ever drops anything. And then there is Charlie Jones. We thought he might have gotten a season ending injury the other day at practice but he didn’t. Dodged that bullet. But this kid Charlie Jones is good too. Great WR and even better return specialist. His 4th NFL punt he ever reformed last year was for 82 yards and a TD. He was All American at Iowas as a return specialist and was Big 10 Special Teams player of the year and the following year his last year he transfered to Purdue when he was an All American WR that led the Big 10 in yards with over 1400 receiving yards. Ne is 6’ 185 and runs 4.43. He needs to get his weight up to 190 in my opinion.
Tyler Boyd for the Titans is also very capable of going over 1000 yards. Before Tee Higgins and Jamar Chase arrived in Cincinnati AJ Green was the teams WR1 and Boyd was the Wr 2 and in 2018 and 2019 went over 1000 yards with AJ Green on the team. And in 2020, 21, and 22 he had over 750 yards in all 3 seasons. He is only 29. Don’t underestimate him he is still dam good. He had just completed his second contract with Cincinnati his rookie contract and his 1st big one and the Bengals wanted to get Younger and cheaper at the position. We didn’t let him walk because he is no good anymore n
Being a Packers' fan, I think them being 16 is more than fair. 16 basically being their floor, but you did say if 1-2 of them take a step up, they very well could be a top 5 unit by season's end. They all are just too young to TRULY tell what they'll be. Either way, I don't think I've been this excited for our offense since the early Rodgers years, haha.
Iosivas is pronounced Yo-shee-Vas. Or just.call him Yoshi for short. You are right. This kid is going to explode this year. All the coaches are saying he is the 3rd best WR on the team. He is 6’3’’ 212 lbs runs 4.42 and has a 39 inch vertical and a RAS of 9.98!! 😂. He is gong to break out this year big time. And Burton is going to be dam good too. His first pre season game Burton had 3 catches for 82 yards and 1 TD.
My bets for this season: Win the division: Texans, 49ers, chiefs, lions and falcons: 250,00=4.374,00 Make the playoffs: Bengals, chiefs, eagles, texans, 49ers, lions: 1.000,00=5.062,00 No playoffs: Titans, Commanders, giants, saints, vikings, pats, raiders, broncos, Panthers, cardinals: 1.000,00=5.144,00 What do you think about this bets?
Great video Mitch. Not sure when it was recorded or the information was updated but r.moore atlanta is def oot for the season, l.thomas got released and was NEVER on any 49er depth chart, anden c.jones for the bengals injured for how long?! J.whyle for ten is better than chig and gonna start J.whittington lar is ahead of tutu on the depth chart anden the soon to be retired higbee is gonna retire so?!
i made this vid a week ago and waited to see if aiyuk would be traded. which is why rondale and thomas are there. and i have not heard anything about higbee retiring. i heard chig was in a rotation but he has been the starter so ill keep him there.
The Bengals are top 3 but they are 1st on my list. Jamar Chase, Tee Higgins, Jermaine Burton, Andrei Iosivas, Trenton Irwin, and Charlie Jones. You may not have heard of the last 4. After this season you will Be well aware of who they are. Especially Burton and Iosivas. In and yea we got Mike Gesicki at TE.
Who would u say would be most likely breakout receiver? Like a guy who didn’t do good in 2023 to all of a sudden, get 1200-1300 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2024
@@TheBottomLineView I believe the additions of Yoshi and Burton put this room over all the rest in total. But got the season has to play out for that to be seen. Belief doesn't make for much of an argument, so revisit later.
So many things I dont agree with. Lions really only have many reliable options. I mean DPJ is fine but outside of Jameson Williams they're depth is bad. And you the colts i think are way too high as well. Josh downs is a reliable number 2 with Pittman. And the Packers having 4 reliable 500 yard recivers even if the upside isnt that high thats worthy of top 10 to me because thats truly depth. And some of those guys might break out.
@@TheBottomLineViewit is and Aijuk won’t even be a Niner. Rams have 4 legit WRs and then the rookie Whittington looks great in camp. But they have a legit 4 WR set. A team like the Eagles have no depth after WR1 and WR2. The rest of their WR room are lawn chairs.
Not gonna lie, as a ravens fan, I expected u to rank our core much lower. Mark Andrews and zay flowers are our star pass catchers but zay had an ok rookie year while mark had a down year due to injuries.
I like the uniqueness of zay (in yr 2 i think top 20 wr) plus andrews in mof and likely as a big slot target. With guys like bateman and agholor . Its a solid not outstanding group
I dont agree with the Chargers having the worse receivers in the league nor do I think Josh Palmer will be their #1 receiver.. why would you think that?
The 1 think that the Titans have that no other team has? When you look back over the last 4 years the WR who has dropped the fewest number of passes is DHOP. The WR who has dropped the second FEWEST passes is Tyler Boyd. Yes i know Boyd dropped the game winning TD against Houston last year but that was EXTREMELY unusual for him to do so. These 2 guys don’t drop passes. And I think Ridley is overplayed and overrated. Very very overpaid. He is about to be 30 and was signed to a 4 year deal.
And Jamar Chase is probably the strongest of all the WRs. He did 24 reps on the bench press when he was 21 years old at LSUs pro day. That’s a very large number for a WR. He has only gotten stronger since. I can show you videos of him this offseason squaring 600 lbs and power cleening 325 lbs. 😂 he can break CBs in half. He is a little over 6’ almost 6’1’’ and about 207 lbs. and he runs 4.34 lol.
You have to realize also that Rashee Rice will most likely get suspended for about 6 games. If not this year then next year but I think it will happen this year.
It'd not kyle pitts fault he had bad qb play even matt ryan was on the tails end of his career and he was also dealing with an injury and dealing with arthur bad play calling
Its close but lamb is top 3 wr. Adams is older declining more top 10 now. Furgeson proven top 12 caliber te vs rookie great prospect in bowers. Cooks and meyers r even. Turpin is fast af and tolbert i like more than tre tucker but its close. Dallas more explosive prob is the difference there
My instinct is you are a bit low on the Commanders. Part of it is probably that I am much higher on McLaurin. Of the teams ranked ahead of them, I would probably take them of Indy, Jacksonville, Baltimore, Green Bay, and Kansas City. Of the all the position rankings this channel has done, this ranking strikes me as the most off, and while the Commanders are a part of that, I think they are probably only 4 or 5 spots off--rather its there are teams that I would move 13 or 14 slots from where you have them. Like the Chiefs receiving corps will put up top 10 numbers, but if you say gave them Daniel Jones or Baker Mayfield would anybody be scared of them. That said if I was making my top 8, I would probably come up with the same 8 teams, so its really only 9 to 32 where I would really do things differently.
Can you explain what else the commanders have that makes u say they are better than those units? Even if u go 1 for 1 with mclaurin… kelce is better, andrews or even flowers could be better, kirk is close, pitman is just as productive. Those teams have way better depth. Dotson was a first rounder but very little production. No one else has done anything?
@@TheBottomLineView I was more focusing on just WR's so including TE's does change the analysis some. You are way higher on Flowers than me. I think he is behind Pittman and Kirk who are a bit behind McLaurin. So I will caveat my earlier post. I will say that only focusing on WR's (not including TE's) I would probably rank the Commanders ahead of those teams and admittedly in some of those cases it is close and an argument could be made the other way. I do think QB's elevate receiving corps though.
I think indy with Pittman downs and the new rookie should be higher. Better than atl Jax Cleveland maybe, maybe even Baltimore abd arizona. Heck maybe over green bay with Watson reed and doubs
@TheBottomLineView ya I guess with the tight end makes it closer , but you think kirk and Davis is a better combo than Pittman downs and Mitchell? Naw..
The texans have nico collins (1200 yard wr) stefon diggs (top 5 wr from 2020-2022) and tank dell (great rookie season before hurt) + dalton schultz and noah brown, robert woods. Wr depth is incredible
The Lions WAr2 Williams is a bust. A big time bust. 1st round bust. At least so far he has been and he has been in the league 2 years. He was suspended part of 1 for gambling which must be reassuring to the Lions.
Mike Gesicki is an athletic freak show too. This guy is 6’6’’ 250 lbs and runs 4.54 and has a 41 inch vertical leap. He is a dam good football player and the Dolphins were idiots for letting him walk. The Patriots should have kept him too. Drew Sample isn’t a name most people have heard but he can catch the ball and get some YAC when you need him too but where his value comes from is blocking. He is 6’5’’ 255 lbs and is a great run blocker and pass blocker. Especially run blocking. He is a top 5 blocking TE according to PFF. Tanner Hudson is a former QB and they ALWAYS make good TEs or WR’s. Travis Kelce used to be a QB too in HS. Hudson is a good reliable target.
Not trying to be mean but Patriots have the worse receivers in the league. They dont have any good receivers. If these receivers excite you, I'm sorry for you
