I just love a video that is nonstop eyeshadow talk. 😍 I never get sick of talking or listening about eyeshadow. I don't own any Pat McGrath yet, but one day..
You have reviewed the most eyeshadow I have seen in the beauty community this year - Patty for the win. As soon as you mentioned the Huda Beauty pastel collection 🙃 that brings back memories of 2020 with all the mentions. I hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday
@@anh7807 yes I saw Morgan Turner’s at 110 palettes - wow. I have been cycling through all these rankings as it is a little addictive to watch. It satisfies my need to buy so much when they rank them low or average.
So refreshing to see that I'm not the only one who is not super impressed by ND Retro. Everyone keeps ranking it soo highly, and I'm like "am I missing something?" Every look I do with it seems so similar. I paid full price and preordered it, so I'm just a little salty. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with a deeper skin tone. Cant wait to see your top 15!
Yeah for sure not ever eyeshadow palette is for everyone/ every skin tone It’s meant for ppl who have a cool skin tone and fair which I have but even some of the shimmers are just a bit disappointing:/ although I do find the eyeshadow palette to have a lot of variation and the colours look a lot different on me
@@mayakrizan4609 totally get it! I only wished it was advertised that way. I've learned to wait to for reviewers with my skin tone first. Next year I want to add more indie shadows to my collection :)
I am personally not so into that color scheme. Everyone seems to be going crazy over it though. It's not worth it for me to buy an entire palette that I don't wear much. I bought the ND love a few months ago and have worn it maybe 2 or 3 times since. Maybe if it's in a super good sale next year...just maybe. Now, if it were a grungy green and mustard yellow palette, that's something I'd use.
I'm a medium skin tone and I really liked the ND Retro. Some palettes work better for others. I know I've tried a few that did nothing for me but other people swore by. It just depends on the person I guess.
Love your videos and content, just found you. I love Natasha and Pat, they're my favorites for eyeshadows. If you like shine and haven't tried them I also suggest a few indie brands that are amazing for that: Devinah, Terra Moons and Bernovich (harder to get and I also love their mattes) all phenomenal
I seriously love that celestial pearl palette I have used that palette whether it be on its own or as a complementary palette to other palette’s, something about the shimmers in there are extremely special
Do you mind me asking if you get any fallout with the duochrome in the CT quad? I can’t stop the fallout when using my finger over TF glitter glue. Do you have any advice?
@@Amber86queenbee I guess you’re talking about the top left color which I typically use the top right and the bottom left I actually don’t remember how the top left one operates but I don’t really remember any particular amount of fall out for me just in general with fall out I will put Powder under my eyes while I work and then just dusted away with the powder or if it’s just like a quick little shade that I need to put on I’ll put like a napkin under while I’m applying it to catch anything and in the exact spot where I need to put it I’ll use like a sticky primer or maybe a glitter glue or some thing right before I’ll put it on so that it has like a sticky base no I’m curious I’ll have to try that and get back to you. What shape are your eyes? And is it only during application or throughout the day?
@@PattyBookh hi thanks for replying! It’s actually the top right that I get the fallout and the top left is perfect. My eyes are probably described as very slightly hooded or droopy, almond shaped and it only seems to be an issue with shades with micro-glitters (bigger particles like ABH primrose or ND glam face are fine with a sticky base). I just can’t work out how to stop it - mainly when I put it on and then a bit more throughout the day immediately under my eyes. It is such a beautiful shade so I will try your suggestion of putting down face powder underneath or something to protect. I might need to experiment with other sticky primers (any suggestions?). Thanks again!
Im new to your channel and I wanted to say your videos are awesome! Thank you for providing us with awesome content and I hope you have a happy new year!
Jeez Patty, this was a marathon!!!! I love that you've left us in suspense as to what comes next 👏👏👏 Merry Christmas Patty, I hope you, you're husband and your family are having a wonderful time. Love you loads and loads, ❄☃️❄❤❤❤❤❄☃️❄❤❤❤❤❄☃️❄
Great rating so far. I agree with everything so far… even though ones you thought might be controversial. Looking forward to your top picks as I think we have similar taste in palettes!
Do you recommend the face and eye palette from natasha if I have the full biba and 2 super glow highlights as well as the blush and highlighter palette I got last year? I just don't want to waste my money if I don't need to. Have a great day and great new year
Great ranking Patty! If I can help with the Petit Fours in French...the accent is on Pe and the second T is silent, and the S is pronounced as Z, so Pe t Fourz
I hate embossing on eyeshadow. So Dior never looks good to me. Their palettes remind me of Aziza, which is a brand that used to be found at big lots or the dollar store.
In Italy it is impossible to buy Juvia's place without paying significant customs costs, Anastasia does not ship to Italy and Spain.... It's really shameful and discriminating
The Fenty Palette seems to be rated pretty poor by a lot of RU-vidrs, to me the colours all look too similar. I do like her snap shadows (smokey and rose), and my favourites this year were the NARS climax, Natasha denona Xenon and Huda Beauty Jaguar :)
