Love these ranking within a brand videos. Totally agree on the magic cream - overly perfumed, didn't help my dry skin and not great for sensitive skin.
@@JamiePaige have you heard of youtubers like nostalgia critic, angry video game nerd, cinema snob, film brain, obscurus lupa, linkara, phelous, nostalgia chick, todd in the shadows, and rap critic
Love this! CT is finally available in Australia to shop in store at Mecca and can't wait to try some more of her stuff. Will certainly be sticking to your must try list 😊
I appreciate this realistic look at Charlotte Tilbury. Everyone seems to hype all of her stuff up and I, personally, find many products to be overhyped or not that great-especially the eyeshadows and dare I say the Hollywood Flawless Filter 😬😳 Anyway, most of the products you mentioned that you love (aside from the HFF) are products that I love but I’d definitely avoid most of her other products and try something else. You can find much better items at a better price point 🤷🏻♀️ or equal price point if you want to stick to luxury. I know, all the CT “stans” are going to come for me but oh well 😅
I thought I was the ONLY one who didn’t love her eyeshadows. I used the palette twice- just to make sure that was the thing bothering my eyes.( The cream shadows are fine.) The blushes looked muddy on me so I gifted everything to a friend who has no issue with them. The Magic Cream was so fragranced it assaulted my eyes and nose so I have no idea if it’s any good- thank goodness I bought the trial size and could return it. I wanted to give her concealer a chance but that applicator and delivery system is soooo bad! I do like the Flawless filter and some of her face powders , lipsticks and lip liners. I still enjoy the Bronze and Glow. Somehow I never like EVERYTHING in anyone’s line. I just want the best they have to offer for my skin.
I completely agree on the bronzer! I recently bought it, tried it, thought it was way too light (which is hilarious because I'm so fair), but figured I'd try it a couple more times. It is SO buildable, and is perfect for this time of year when I don't necessarily need to look tan, but just want to give my face some more shape and dimension. It looks so natural, and initially thought I was going to return it, but after having a little bit of time to work with it, I absolutely love it. Love these kinds of videos, thank you for all the work you put in to create them! ❤️
The autumn vibes of the fit are everything, I’m living for it. I love these round up/rating videos and would love to see one on mascara (I am sorry) especially toobing mascara’s
Hi Jamie, just like you I have dry skin and for me liking a powder is very complicated. But recently I have bought the Pixi H2O Skinveil Powder which is hydrating but fixing and setting at the same time. I’m obsessed with it and thought to share this found with you as it’s worth trying. Xx
I've been using the medium Charlotte Tilbury bronzer as a setting powder! The tan Airbrush powder is a weird tone on my skin but the medium bronzer melds with my skin so beautifully! Those cheek to chic blushes are on my must try list for sure
I really enjoy your brand reviews! I love my CT lipliner and the cream eyeshadows are really nice too. What I really don't understand is that every time people mention the beauty wands, they critique the sponge applicator and Charlotte Tilbury still hasn't adapted the packaging. I find it disappointing that she doesn't adapt her product to customer remarks, because even on Sephora, everyone hates that applicator. It has stopped me from purchasing the contour wand.
I love your jacket! The colors are amazing and so perfect for fall. Really appreciate this video! Love the packaging of CT products but not the price haha. Also, would you be able to do a full video on lip stains? I'm not a fan of liquid lipsticks and haven't been wearing many lip products due to masks. Would like to try some lip stains but not sure where to start!
I absolutely adore my pillow talk blush, really want to try the pillow talk eyeliner and liquid blush though + the PT lipstick hehe. I used to really want the Dolce Vita eye quad (now named Bella Sofia because it was actually good but I’m sure they reformulated after the name change 🙄)
I LOVE the CT PT💄 and the powder. I recently bought Milani's 430 Secret, and it's a dead on dupe for me. It doesn't look quite the same in the tube, but swatched on my skin or on my lips, it looks, feels and wears the same. Worth trying! I want to try No.7's powder to see if it's a real dupe.
I love this new series, it’s really helpful to understand the whole lineup of products a brand has to offer. I also LOVEEEE this look, I assume you’re wearing a full face of CT, but I’d love a tutorial on it, really enhances your features 😍
Really useful thank you. I love my CT Lip liner, her lipstick is nice and the 2 quads I have of hers are gorgeous (Fire Rose & Pillow Talk). There’s a few things you’ve mentioned on my wish list: contour wand & the cream blush 💋
You are the epitome of fall right now and I am here for it 😍😍 I LOVE your videos so much you are so lovely!! Also, you didn’t mention this product but I really like their under eye color corrector! It’s really thin under the eye and I don’t feel I need a concealer if I’m going for a more natural look.
I personally really like the eye shadow quads, as someone who is not super skilled with makeup I find it helpful having the four shades and steps to apply them and guarantees a really beautiful look that I may not have been able to achieve with a bigger palette!
Agree with the reviews on any of the many CT products I own. Must try the cream blusher ‘colour of passion’ and the Hylauronic lipstick, they’re the only top ones I don’t have.
Hi girl, i watched another video and there is a powder from the brand No7 it is called lift & luminate powder and its a dupe of Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Powder, and the price its $12.99, i hope you can try it.
I agree!! And the powder compact is the most annoying because I always hit pan - and I never hit pan on anything so I think there must be less product than I think or I use more than I do with other products. (I just can’t imagine that I use enough to have to replace as often as I do.)
i think that with the collagen lip bath, the amount you get (7.9ml) is quite good and valuable for the pricetag, the tower 28 lip gloss contains 3.9ml, so per ml it costs almost the same
I actually really like the CT lipliner and 2 lipsticks I have - my lips are very sensitive and they never irritate or dry them, and I buy online but the shades always flatter me
Great video, Jamie! If you had to pick between the CT powder or your Kosas Powder, which would be your ultimate favourite, especially for textured, acne prone dry skin?
I rate Charlotte Tilbury highly, but there will be products that suit some people and not others. I personally love her powder blushers, eyeshadow, palettes, contour wands, magic cream and lip liners in particular.
The Boots No7 has a powder that is exactly the same as the Flawless finish for £13 instead of £35. I don’t know if you can get it in Canada, buts it’s a good dupe.
Thank you for this, I feel the same about a lot and was debating about a few of these. This helps a lot! What I do buy are the eyeshadow palettes with 12 shades. Those are still really expensive but for me personally worth it.
The blush is great so many people have problems with it breaking in the pan. It's all over the reviews and I'm amazed they haven't fixed it yet. I ordered my first one this summer thinking I'd be fine and sure enough it came to me all broken! I was able to repress it but now I dont get the benefit of the swish and pop :(
Thank you for this, I have always wondered if her products really did deserve so much hype. I never wanted to spend the money on them but I'm going to put some on my wish list now!
I found that Beauty Pie products tend to be great dupes for CT and a lot better on my pocketbook - even taking the subscription price into consideration. Their compact translucent powder, highlighter in tube, and contour in tube remind of CT the most..
Thank you so much for this. I wanted to reach out because I have very dry skin too. What shade of the airbrush powder and bronzer do you use? There aren’t many shade options for either. Also have you ever tried the loose powder and do you like it or do you like the airbrushed press powder better? Thank you again so much!!
Helloooo Jamie just so you know we haven't forgotten that you have a secret project and I belieeeeve you said we would know by end of the year! Still waiting!
CT jumped on the Aloe addition. Personally, I think it’s simply there to give the impression that’s it’s a more n “natural,” product. The anti-aging ingredients are near the bottom of the list.
I got a free sample of the pillowtalk lipstick. I like the formula but the shade is so close to my natural lip colour that it looks like I'm not wearing anything 😂 works good as a base tho. I have a mini of the hollywood flawless filter and (shade 2 fair) and love it
I love my pillow talk mascara! It does not smudge on me at all, i have most of these products on my top of the top 😅 I legit just uploaded a full face of charlotte tilbury 🤩
Thank you so much for this!! I'm not sure if you can help but the Beach Stick in Las Selinas is one of my HG's and its been discontinued 😭 Do you know of any dupes please? (Even in terms of formula, I'm willing to go a different shade!!) xx
Her mascaras were the same for me! Very pretty upon application, but an hour or two in…Sooo smudgy. Love your recommendations but respectively disagree about the magic cream. It’s my favorite! 💗
Love this style video, I hate her blushes though (lol) and love her eyeshadow bigger palettes, but totally agree with the quads, not worth the price and they aren't amazing. I also surprisingly love her pencil eyeliner, it lasts all day. The magic foundation was just OK for me too. I used to love the pillow talk mascara, it made my lashes so long but I've since fallen in love with the sky high mascara and its over half the cost cheaper so it humbled me a bit.. lol. NARS or pat mcgrath next!! :D
LOVE her powder, haven’t find a dupe yet. Her lipsticks are good, but Milani has amazing lipsticks and similar colours. The HFF is ok, I like it too. Eyeshadows are too pricey for what they give…I think.
