Today I will be discussing my opinion on which are the best range type weapons, which are the worse range type weapons and why. This video will covers the weapons as of the Kawaki Karma Progression update. Enjoy🌹
I’m with you on Hanzo Sickle, I practically haven’t put it down since it released. I love running a counter style ranged (icicle swallow/flash slice) and it’s aggressive capability fills in the gaps as well as giving me ToD.
Range type has the least weapons with 13. 15 when the other two drop but that’s still the lowest amount. Having the most ninja tools doesn’t make up for that when we got situational tools like jade star and mitsudomoe😭
Hanzo’s Sickle and Kusanagi are tied for #1 for me. The SS+ Inferno sword when it comes out is an automatic S-tier just for the unique intro pose. I never liked the intro pose for female ranged type CaCs very much and now we’re finally getting a cooler one.
Hanzo sickle is so good. Just puts you in the line of fire all the time 😂 maybe if they buff range types health or movement speed, it will compete for being the best weapon

The ending move on the ground light attack doesnt work for some reason in pit. Havent tried other modes yet. Was build testing. But like the string only finished sometimes
bubble pipe goes into S tier for me. The bubbles tracking is more reliable to me than every other tracking projectiles. And the special extensions it has over the regular kunai weapons allows for jutsu setups. I only wish for a range weapon with projectiles heavy attacks as reliable as this, and has flashly/functional combos like the other SS+ weapons.
I been saying something like this. I’d want it to do a lightning net stun on hit that causes restriction damage to combo fireball with. That would be dope. Also make it a guard break😈
Hey question does anybody know if the custom ninja outfit type 2 maidens garb was ever released in the shop cause I got it from shinobi shop awhile back but I don’t recall it being released but I’m not trying to get banned but looks sick as an outfit
Personally, I'd put the Kazekage puppet and bubble pipe over Shisui's Katana, but it's really personal preference at that point. Otherwise, really great list. Also I think Bubble pipe could be S tier if your own senbon and ninja tools didn't pop the bubbles. Because of that, I typically use the medicines with the bubble pipe.
Yeah, I put shisui katana in second for personal preference as well but i did say I consider it a tie between that and puppet. Bubble pipe is a solo player weapon for me and while it is reliable and easy to use. It can get in the way of team fights because of the high hit counter. The melee options aren’t that good either for team fighting but inside survival mode is where this weapon shines though.
@@hiddenroseyeah that’s fair I mostly play survival so that’s how I was thinking of it. But you’re right shisui’s Katana is probably better in team battles.
This is true. The developers don’t want to over tune range heavy attacks because it will start looking like hero mode, so they make most attacks of the heavy attacks deal mid damage, low accuracy and range with high hit counters. The problem is, they forgot to make up for it by balancing out the close ranged attacks.
I want to as well, but with the season already starting, I feel like I gotta wait until the end of season 8 cuz the balance patches will shift things around, plus we got dlc and special ninjutsu coming
Shisui katana is questionable at s tier imo. Kusanagi is no longer s tier in the current meta, bc unless I’m missing something just having a good hit stun won’t cut it anymore especially when we have a few weapons that can beat it in head to head clashes now. Melee weapons in general are all somewhat inferior to the range weapons in general effectiveness just due to the fact that your hitbox doesn’t matter if I can hit you before you even get in range. Being able to save your teammates with canons, pistols, lapis etc. without even needing to use your tool or jutsu outweighs saucy combos when you don’t have to put yourself in harms way. Lapis, and fire canon should be s tier imo bc they both can do infinite combos with no assistance from tools or jutsu lapis would be the best bc you kinda get the best of both worlds with melee and range attacks. But I respect your list these are just my thoughts maybe you can change my mind or I change yours.

Don't care what everyone thinks but the best weapon by far is Hanzo sickle that weapon is so broken i literally use it on evey range build that i use its that freaking awesome i don't even care about Sasuke ss+ weapon or tenten scroll weapon
I kind of disagree with you rose about the last 2 points about Hanzo sickle where you said you will need a healer if you are running Hanzo sickle for me I don't need heal and still beat ppl up lol and if you get jumped I once pull two ppl jumping me in my seal tags and killed them at once
Lapis fang blade has things that are nice about it but for a tier that u describe as “weapons that u don’t need to build around”, that’s just not true for lapis even if ur just heavy spamming, the juggle isn’t that good anymore cause u get hard knocked after like 2 or maybe 3 heavy’s unlike before where u could keep doing it kinda like shisui katana nerf, and bro rose tbh if ur just doing a weapon vs weapon battle with like bubble pipe, u seriously think lapis winning that fight? lapis air combos and heavy maybe tracking better ain’t gonna carry it past even bubble pipe big dawg and over hanzo sickle and fire guns🤨😐crack. Shi even if u got Justus or stuff to help lapis u may lose to a bubble user, those air combos aren’t even easy to get cause u have a kunai charge attack and if I just run to the side a little bit and charge attack u or throw kunai or senbon if I wanna attack or if u wanna be offensive with lapis and the person just gotta run basically what u doing? Again bubble user ur not beating that or hanzo sickle or guns probably in a 1v1 only weapon fight and don’t even dare say it has more special thing about it than the ones before it🤨
Still love ya tho rose but u been smoking sum cause 🤨 and im seeing after shisui is at number two🤨 I’ll agree it’s great for flag or base maybe mainly to get others off while u can stay in one spot without moving back or anything, besides that and it being able to do the knock where u cant roll, I still don’t get how that’s better than a weapon that can dead pit fall u off a heavy, a weapon that can give poison and hits like a jutsu cause there’s three in one heavy, just because it can be good objectively doesn’t make it better than some of the other weapons u listed, like bruh just throw a weapon in a tier and explain why don’t even list an order for them unless u think about them against each other or other weapons cause this definitely partially wrong but it’s really whatever I dead care to much bout this lmaoooo
Nah, I appreciate the discussion. From a 1v1 aspect, the list would look a lot different but taking all things into consideration, like ease of use or mobility, I feel like lapis fang blade fulfills the range type objective better than the weapons below it in more situations. Of course, the 3 out of 12 pit fall maps, sickle is a better option. In survival mode or 1v1 setting, bubble pipe would have a slight edge and there is a case to be made that fire pistols could support your team better than the lapis. But taking everything into consideration on how sickle is high risk, high reward, high skill for a close range weapon and fire pistols, while good ranged attacks, gives no charge attack options for pursuing and cleaning up k.o’s after your attack makes them sub, lapis fulfills both those aspects. It isn’t superior in either one but the fact that it can do both while the other A tiers can’t, I give it the nod.
@@hiddenrose when u say “it isn’t superior in either one but the fact is it can do both and the other a tiers cant, tbh I see your perspective on it and if I can agree on that but I still don’t know if it’s necessarily supporting your team better tho rose cause again in only two heavy attacks from lapis they will hard knock so it’s really not even good for team jumping cause you’ll ruin your team stuff more
If anything it has the same problem that u mentioned bubble pipe has for team battles the only thing making it better is its air and ground combos ig but eh I’d still rather see a random with hanzo sickle or fire pistols or even bubbles to protect himself better tho maybe it’d be bad cause he’s hitting them more but that’s good for the random so your I feel your partially right bout lapis being better if u rather it not even be involved or less involved compared to bubbles just hitting more, and if we talking the air or general combos good for team battles not more than hanzo sickle id say and yeah Ig u can say it’s easier to use than hanzo sickle for random players in the aspect of u can spam the heavy but not easier than bubble pipe heavy or even the guns light attacks, tho again ye u cant charge wit those. And again I really don’t think lapis better for team battles combos to the others nd tbh because of that overall a worse pick for even newer players unless u saying “here take this top class kitty weapon” cause I never feel like there’s much of a threat when I see someone with lapis nor do I feel happy seeing it on my team
