Placing S12 so low was a choice.

You got S12 totally wrong. One of the best seasons and it isn’t fair to penalize the other queens for 🥧. They cut her out of the season anyways.

Ranking season 12 that low is a crime. We had so many talented drag queens, iconic lip syncs (Widow and Jaida especially). The Madonna Rusical, the premiere, Crystal Method’s hammering of a wig, Jaida’s dinosaur doctor and orange finale outfit, Gigi in the final 4 challenge. The finale was just okay, yeah but it still feels like a great season.

Season 12 that low with Season 11 that high? I think not.

It’s a crime to rate S12 that low! Best season since S6. And 11 was criminally horrible... it should be last. My ranking would be A2, 6, 5, 4, 12, 9, 10, 3, 8, 2, A5, 7, A4, A3, 1, 11, A1

Honestly loved the format, a lot more fun than people just doing the tiered ranking website. Also just gotta say you’re really a natural at this RU-vid stuff; editing and commentary were snappy but still fun.

Mama, in what universe does Season 11, 9 and 7 rank higher than Season 12? Season 12 was a damn near masterpiece. The only All Stars season that deserves a high ranking is AS2...I blame producing (or a lack thereof) for the poor results for AS3 thru AS5. I'll never say a queen isn't talented or undeserving, as I recognize it's a show, and the producing has been subpar and repetitive.

For me, best to worst would be: 1. AS2 - It was fantastic. SHUT UP AND DRIVE. Nothing else. 2. Season 12 - Besides the issue with the virus and the rotten pie, it was so good. The talent was phenominal. 3. Season 6 - Brilliant season. I love every episode and it is just great. 4. Season 5 - I loved this season. However, I wasn't too fond of Rolaskatox and the whole picking on Jinkx situation. 5. Season 3 - Such a good season. The drama was great. Most moments were great. Some of the challenges were mediocre though. 6. Season 8 - Great drama, loved the queens. But the cast was too short, and the double elimination was not needed. 7. Season 9 - Heavily underrated season. Loved the queens. The start was great. Maybe too many teamed challenges. 8. Season 10 - The queens were good. The challenges were good too. The drama was tasteless and not needed. 9. Season 11 - The challenges weren't as good. But I liked it quite a bit and I am not sure why. 10. Season 2 - The challenges were good. I liked most of it. But it just wasn't my favourite. 11. Season 1 - The challenges were good. It was alright. The season 1 filter was shitty. Stan Tammie Brown. 12. AS4 - I liked some of it. After Manila's elimination, it was just rubbish. 13. Season 4 - I only cared for Latrice, Dida, Willam, Chad, and Jaremi. The challenges were rubbish (apart from the presidential challenge. Worst snatch game. 14. AS5 - The twist was crap, this conspiracy with India, Alexis, and Shea was crap. Alexis was cheated and deserved better. Juju should've won snatch game. 15. AS3 - It was shit. The ending was shit. The only thing I liked about this season were the challenges and Shangela, Bebe, Morgan, and Thorgy (who was robbed of a Top 2 placement for the talent show, and shouldn't have been in the bottom 2 in the following ep). 16. Season 7 - The challenges were so imbalanced when it came to acting. The drama was tasteless. They perhaps pushed some queens further than they should've done. The wrong queens were in the bottom 2 sometimes. 17. AS1 - What can I say? Pandora was robbed. It was just baffonery.

season 12 was the strongest season to come out of the franchise in a long time, without this past season the show may have continued to fall in popularity. The queens were incredibly creative and talented. The finale is an example of this. Season 12 def belongs in the top 5

I dont agree w S12. Yea the finale wasnt great and the presence of a predator but is not the queens fault. Every single queen in this season has there own unique persona and all of them are soo so so strong! And we cant say this for other seasons. Also hunny AS5 !?! I mean juju cracker and shea being the top 3!?!? I was biting my nails the whole season cuz they 3 are the possible winners. Love shae but i wanted it to be a triple win cuz uggh crcaker and jujubee 😍 And i agree w AS4. The queens overall werent strong. Some of them were but not all. (btw ive only watched S10 onwards and AS4 and AS5. They dont air drag race in my homophobic country)

I found it very entertaining to watch. You are really a natural at this stuff. I have to make 2 comments though: - I wish you’ve given more credit to Season 9. It’s one of the most memorable season, good drama, very talented queens (3 of them got the crown) and Lady Gaga was on it. - Season 6 > Season 5. Can’t wait for the next one !!

Commenting this one year later but am I the only one who is obsessed with All star 3 ? I absolutely loved it, I love the Bendela gag, and it has one of my favourite episode of all time with the Bitchelor, Kennedy being out of this world funny and then sassing Milk. So good.

The ranking we've been yearning for! Loved it! I might have swapped 9 and AS4 though, although I agree the challenges weren't great the second half the season is pretty strong. And all the Valentina drama (e.g. Valentine vs Aja in untucked, Valentina vs. Farrah at the reunion, pretty much everyone vs Valentina at the reunion and the whole "fan favorite thing"), unforgettable. I also thought the bracket-style lip-sync at the finale was dope, one of the strongest Top 4's for Drag Race

S12 has been a season where I was INVESTED in everyone from f8 onward (minus the predator). It was a very strong cast, no drama but we had Silky being a complete mess the season prior so I really didn't miss it.

Season 7s untucked is elite. Its just hanging out with the gals. Getting messy. Spilling tea. It really humanised the queens and we got to see them for who they were instead of what the show wanted us to see. I could re watch season 7s untucked over and over 😅

S12 is the most drama, and historical. Everyone attacking Aiden, multiple lipsyncs at home... and corona ooooOOo

As much as AS3 is hated on, I think it was still really entertaining. Trixie bombing snatch game (painful but funny). Shangela, Trixie & Aja being the narrators of the show, Milk being delusional, Morgan getting instant karma, Chi Chi being a sweetheart, Bendela’s dramatic elimination, Bebe’s obvious special treatment/“out of respect for Bendela”-quote and everyone losing respect for Thorgy just for her to regain all of it if not more for picking Shangela ...

Season 5, 6 and as2 will forever be the pinnacle of drag race. Definitely unmatched. The holy trinity of the show. And majority of this list i totally agree.

Season 2 and especially the episodes of Untucked are iconic and therefore deserves a higher placement.

Only thing I would change is I would put 11 down a few spots

I honestly agree 12 should be low even though I really enjoyed this season. If you go back and watch the challenges, the queens’ talent was just not there compared to other seasons. There were a lot of dull moments. Go back and watch Worlds Worst, Droop, Choices 2020, One Queen Show, & Gays Anatomy. All sub-par. Even the Madonna rusical isn’t memorable. Plus we only got one design challenge. The only thing that saved S12 was the first episodes rap challenge and the last episodes Viva Las Vegas.

Season 4 will always be the turning point of the series. I think Willam said it best when he said "season 4 walked, so season 5 could run"

Rob, I say this with love and as a huge fan-I really think you’re better than ranking videos. They mostly exist as comment bait to get people to comment outraged about some ranking. They’re really a low hanging fruit on RU-vid and I’d love to see something more. I will say that the one positive of this is that it’s a longer form video for you so we get to see a little more of your personality which is lovely! But given the originality and effort of your other content, I really think you can do something better than this. But I’ll support whatever you do 💙

I would probably put S12 after AS5, they had some decent challenges - a lot better than S7 and AS3. That top 3 is the top 3 though, the absolute best. Loving the videos! I was filming and uploading a few videos last year and tapped out because everything went wrong all the time. It is a pain but if you love it then keep at it, I'm really enjoying them!

S12, Agree BUT how can we as fans skip over Crystal Method’s MASTER PIECE? That at home music video of “I’m like a Bird”, made the world a better place! Lol

Loved this video and hope to see more in the future. I agreed with most of your picks, except for: -S12 was such an entertaining season and it’s for me on top 5 of best seasons of the show. Yes...COVID-19, we been knew that they wouldn’t get the finale they deserved but they did the best they could and honestly the whole SP disaster wasn’t a factor to overshadow the performance of the cast, which was very strong. -AS4 was very disappointing to me, cause it had one of the strongest casts ever, however most of the challenges were A CHOICE. Specially the twist of the Snatch game of love. The AS2 elimination format at this point was boring. But most importantly, that tie shouldn’t have happened. I would’ve preferred to have a tie on AS5 between any of the queens on top 3 OR keep that possibility for any further season. It’s in the bottom tier for me for sure. -S6 and S3 are a bit better than S5. Still, S5 is in the top tier for sure. -S11 is hands down the worst of them all. No further comments.

I don't mind Sherry pie on S12. She is a very talented queen, I think she did the season way better. On another hand, I'm so glad she eventually got disqualified.

I mostly enjoyed this, however I think seasons 9 and 12 need to be way Higher with season 10 being at the top. Season 11 is like dead last for me. Otherwise good job

I actually really liked the lip sync assassin twist in AS5. The problem is that the assassins often weren't that great because either 1) they aren't actually lip sync assassins (Vanjie), 2) had songs that weren't optimal lip sync songs and therefore didn't really match the talents of the assassin (Kennedy/Fancy, Roxxxy/One Last Time), or 3) kinda looked like they were underperforming (Alyssa). Like if you had told me a few weeks before AS5 aired that Miz Cracker would beat Kennedy Davenport in a lipsync, I would have actually pissed myself laughing.

For me the missplaced season would be 12, I really liked the season, because there are sooo many talented queens and Heidi as the narrator was iconic. Also I think the challenges were mostly really good. The sherry situation and the favoritism of Gigi were bad though. I would place it above season 11

Season 12 should be so much higher. Strongest Top 3 since season 6. Also, it was literally our only saving grace as the world crumbled around us in our own homes. Without season 12 quarantine would’ve been even worse. Season 11 should be after AS1. The beating of the dead horse of the Yvie/Silky drama, for Silky to then pick BH to lip sync against in the finale.. and then the lack of personality from BH. The forced Vanjie/BH love story and Ru sending girls home to keep pushing Vanjie talking head moments. It was just a mess and not really exciting AS2 is #1 forever. Overall, I can’t do anything these queens do and they’re all incredible and we’re blessed to have them on our TV

1. Season 6. THE BEST. No debate needed. 2. All Stars 2. Yes it’s iconic but there’s a lot of issues with Tati and Alyssas unfair eliminations and Adores mistreatment. Still iconic and amazing tho. Katya stole the show as she should. 3. Season 5. Iconic again. The Top 6 is still the strongest in history maybe second to all stars 2. 4. Season 9. I mean so many iconic queens and all around a lot of fun. 5. Season 2. Super underrated IMO. The drama on the season is so good. Tati, Juju, Raven, Jessica, and Pandora are legends. 6. Season 4. Really good overall. Great drama. Some queens weren’t as memorable, but I mean we got Willam, Chad, and Latrice from this season so we’re good. 7. Season 7. A beautiful mess. I understand it’s not that amazing but still I really enjoy it. Also the queens in the season were amazing(Katya, Trixie, Violet, Kennedy, Pearl, Ginger, etc.) 8. Season 3. Way too damn long. Good but still way too long. Too many design challenges but it still was very solid and I enjoyed myself. Shangela rules. 9. Season 12. Some awesome queens but [redacted] ruins it for me, seeing all my faves go and that staying. 10. All Stars 3. Started off mostly good but quickly became messy. Still has Shangela, Trixie, Dela, ChiChi, Thorgy, and Aja in it so who am I to complain. 11. Season 8. I honestly forgot this season existed in my ranking. Bob is dope tho 12. Season 10. I think season 12 deserves to be higher for sure! The whole situation that happened plus the finale being done remotely wasn't the Queens fault!! All the Queens were so incredibly talented in Season 12, it seemed to me almost like an AllStar Season! Love the Season 12 Queens!

Season 12 should not have placed that low. There was an insane amount of talent on that season.

I actually really loved the S12 finale. The finales are a bit like Snatch Game, you always remember them as being better than they really were. S1-3 was basically a regular episode with a quickie crowning. S4-8 were essentially long coronations (with a lot of filler). S9 was epic but then meant some dead butterflies, mediocre reveals and whats-going-on threeway lipsyncs in S10 and S11 (and all three still had a LOT of filler). S12 was a bit ramshackle, lo-fi, but was made with so much love and commitment, and actually really worked as a showcase for each of the queens' distinct talents. And there's something really Drag about wearing a stunning costume in full wig and make-up - while in your living room with the coffee table pushed to the side. It wasn't slick but it had an awful lot of heart and actually is the only one that got better on repeat viewing.

You sorted every season perfectly, but S12 should be switched with S10 in my honest opinion

I disagree with the placement of as3, because I think DeLa was quitting because she felt she wanted to give someone else a chance to shine, and didn’t feel regret because she felt she had already won as much as she wanted to. Obviously I love DeLa, she’s one of my all time favorite queens but I understand where she’s coming from. She was really feeling the whole Morgan MM situation, and not like her peppy, happy fun self. I don’t think she was being disrespectful to the other queens or the show itself.

Season 11 before season 9? That’s a choice ;). Season 9 has so many iconic moments. Where as 11 was dull and obviously pushed queens to the finale who didn’t deserve to be there. Other than that I agree with everything

Season 4 brought us Sharon bleeding from the mouth, "get these nuts away from MY face", the Glamazon music video, "This is not Ru Paul's Best Friend Race", Milan's janky eyelash, "Go back to Party City where you belong" Willam's mystery DQ, Literally everything Kenya said or did, Dida Ritz's lipsync to "This Will Be". I'm always baffled this season doesn't get the love it deserves.

S12 being that low is the only thing I really disagree with...regardless of the predator or the finale, I think it was an INSANELY strong season with many of the best competitors we've seen throughout all of DR history!

When you realized you had the airpods on you should've went "I'd like to keep them in please" 😂 and yeah that's my main problem with Ben quitting, is she wasted our time! And she used the excuse that she didn't want to vote anyone else out/she had shown what she wanted to show. Girl, there is ONE challenge left before the finale WHAT are you doing??

Season 9 was a great season. Hello?? 3 winners were from this season! Also, I beg to disagree that the challenges weren't great. For me one of the strongest seasons. I'll put it below season 3. Season 6 should've been higher than season 5. I must say, it was a neck to neck season, so I based it on how incredible the winner is against the other. I think bianca has a little edge. Season 10 was so overrated. I'm gonna put that below season 2. Nothing was remarkable other than the vangie thing. It was like they were pushing so hard for a lot of mainstream stunts. A lot of people disagrees with season 12, but actually I would also put it there. I can see the potential, but the season has ended and it went flat.

Fun format, just one suggestion - maybe remind us who was in each season quickly (on-screen list) to jog our memories. It looks like I’m in the minority, but I couldn’t remember 17 different seasons instantly.

I personally really liked AS3. Im a huge BenDelLaCreme fan, and that moment with the white-out lipstick S H R E D D E D me, but I think that even with that happening, the queens were just so damn amazing. I think Aja really deserves kudos, but overall I think the cast as a whole was exceptional and fun to watch. I would have placed it right under season 4. I love AS3 and would put it after AS2, but I'm biased because Trixie is my favorite queen. While I understand people's issue with Ben De Le Creme leaving the competition I felt it was almost a perfect unplanned twist. She was winning so much that it seemed no one else had any chance of winning almost making it boring so her leaving suddenly opened up the competition and for me rekindled excitement. After AS3 they should have gone back to normal judging or some other system though. Queens choosing who leaves has so many problems and on top of that has gotten stale.

Season 11 is my least favourite season hands down and season 12 (I think) deserves a spot in the top 5. Gigi’s & Jaidas fashion, Crystal & Heidis humour and oh, MISS BROCCOLI!!!
