From the first time I booted up a Shantae game, I knew I was going to love the series. And that initial impression was spot on - I've enjoyed all five games in the series thus far, and eagerly await Shantae Advance.
But since I started up 1/2 Genie Hero again this week, I wanted to take a look back on what's come thus far and rank each of them, starting with Shantae. These are all the Nintendo Switch versions of the Shantae games, and they're rated in a vacuum against each other. So if something feels low to you, consider that it's ranked against the other games on this list rather than cosmically against all games forever.
