M30 drilling is my favorite. I know it's not the most practical, but it's just so cool! Also getting a headshot kill with the rifle barrel is very satisfying especially considering the terrible sights

Sjogren in Bf1, in my opinion, is the best all-round shotgun. It shoots fast, it is a one shot kill, it has really good range and it reloads relatively quickly. Sjogren is a MONSTER in Bf1.
It’s ticks me off so much. And the fact that you have to get the rate of fire upgrade to even get it close to what it should feel like irl, even without slam-firing. I own one and it always bugs me how the Model 37 feels more like the M1897 then the actual M1897 does.
you did the m30 drilling dirty.. I would go as far as to say its one of the best weapons in the game in the right hands thanks to being able to switch between sniper and shotgun.
I Hope they go back to the old healing system honestly. The healing system in bfv is so crippling for solo players and basically removes any tactics besides sticking with the entire team and zerging the point. You're trying to flank and come up against a guy? Either use your only healing pack or go up against the next guy with low HP. Oh you catch a random stray bullet while healing? Have fun with your low hp.
@@ziggystrangelove4250 On paper it encourages teamplay, but lets not fool ourselves, there isn't anymore teamplay in bfv than in other games, and it just encourages zerging. The infinite health pack is nice and all, but doesn't matter too much when smgs will always be outclassed by another weapon category no matter the range they fight in. Not to mention that you're restricted to cqb flanks, which is very limiting.

I personally like the M30 Drilling the most. I used to use only the Model 37 but realized how much I was using my secondary for range. But I will admit, you are screwed if there's more than 2 people in an area, but there's always your secondary.
I agree Dont play with shotguns a lot,but the drilling was always my favorite.In bf1 I also used the one with the rifle third round(Don't remmeber the name)
The model 37 shotgun represents a slam action shotgun that was used by the US marines for years. This is not a typical pump action shotgun because while you hold the trigger down and slam the loading handle it keeps firing on reload. That’s why it’s so fast firing and also illegal pretty much everywhere.
the M1897 is my favorite. idk why i just like the feel of it over the others. My second fav is the m30 drilling, cuz its basically a shotgun and a sniper combined, the 2 most cancerous weapon types in all first person shooters combined into one weapon
The fact that the Sjogren was seen in such an early trailer but added as the last content pack is just EA being EA - finish an entire game, then drip-feed it to the players in piecemeal over a year or two.

You have to add the bayonet to Model 37. That's when you have fun with it! Get a couple quick kills slamming it. That the ultimate bayonet to chest or throat, then a boot to the chest to get it out. Love doing it to camping snipers or MMG users.

idk if you have noticed this but in battlefield 1 on rush the bombs you place are made of old food cans and they actually change apperance depending on witch country you are.
sjögren is goated with slugs, same for the 12g. those two get slugs, the 1897 and model 37 are the buckshot bois, and the drilling is the most entertaining gun in the game.

I’ve seen a meme where it shows different types of brooms and what they’re used for, and one of them is an M1897 Trench Broom. It looks something like this: *Hard Broom* To get dirt out of cracks *Soft Broom* Best for driveways *Angle Broom* Reaches around corners *Trench Broom* Gets rid of Germs in trenches
There really is no "worst" shotgun since they're all good at what they do it depends on how you use it, but if one had to be at the bottom it would be the 12G auto. Its very inconsistent at times it one hit kills, other times it feels like a confetti cannon. BUT when you switch slugs it becomes a deadly weapon that can one hit kill or two tap your targets. Even at range it can be deadly if you can land those headshots. The next would be the M30 Drilling, it does the most damage if any shotgun and has the farthest reach too but has the huge draw back of only having two shots. But if you know where to place your shots, and get in and out before the enemy gets you then the M30s drawbacks won't matter. The Sjorgen and M97 Trench Gun are tied for next place. They have almost identical stats except the M97 seems to have a better reload speed. Then the best is the Model 37 shotty, it has the highest capacity while also having the best fire rate. Allowing it to clear rooms better it also has decent range but not as much as the M30 or shotguns using slugs.
but the important question is, do the other shotguns even have a place in the game after they added the M37? it's just so much better than all of them, and unlike say the Drilling it doesn't come with any significant drawbacks to it, if there even is any to it.
