We let the waitress at the Prime Time, know that we might have some difficulties due to disabilities.She took that info and ran with it. She was great, and not demeaning in the least. She make sure we kept up with her narrative and never talked down to us. It was wonderful, and the fact that it looked my grandmother’s house was a plus!

Whenever we go to Hollywood studios, we always eat at 50’s prime time.It’s entertainment is the best and the food is pretty good.

AJ…50s Prime Time is a 7 and Backlot Express is a 9??? That is blatant bias. 🤣🤣 I love the Wookiee cookie more than anyone but it’s about the only truly worthwhile/interesting thing at Backlot Express.

We hit up 50's diner once or twice every time we visit. Loove the hilarious antics of the wait staff.

Don’t forget the Joffrey’s coffee stand next to Tower of Terror which has a much shorter line than Trolley Car Cafe.

Can I just say how excited I get when DFB posts every day?

I make it a point to always make it to the sci fi theater each time I go to WDW

50s Prime Time is my idea of Hell. I have mental health issues that centre around food and eating and if someone was yelling at me and hovering the whole time, I would have a melt down.

Just seen a Disney Orlando advert on tv here in England and I want to know why the HELL Disney are claiming that you NEVER ONCE have to use your phone when you are staying there when ALL the Trip Advisor reviews say “you have to constantly have your face buried in your phone screen every day trying to find attractions you want to go on”

As a former Catalina Eddie's castmember, I feel personally attacked! :P But you're right. The menu hasn't changed all that much there and I worked there in 2011. Also as a side note, Catalina Eddie's and Rosie's utilize the same castmembers, but have different offerings. I always kind of saw them as the same place.

I love Sci-Fine dine in theater! It’s so fun, and I love that it’s a little bit more peaceful and quiet

Mama Melrose's is based on the true stories of Perrino's and Romanoff's during the studio Era in Hollywood. Neither wanted to be an actor but one was a prince. They both fell into the restaurant business.

Have you considered a “DougScore” esque ranking system/spreadsheet? I feel like that would be the way to go because we can just check the DFBScore spreadsheet in the parks, and you and the team can update it as restaurants change.

I'll probably never get to go back to Disney World in my lifetime, but I still have fond memories of eating at 50's Prime Time when I went 20 years ago. I remember looking at the dessert menu on a View-Master toy. Do they still do that? When I was looking through it, a member of the wait staff that was passing by said "Settle down there Scooter, there's no naked girls in there." They really do make you feel like family.

There's Lots of options for every taste and price range!!! The theming at each location is amazing and pays attention to the details!!!

They have done so many great things at Hollywood Studios, however, this video just reminded me that they probably need to do some major work on their restaurants and the food they serve. Theming is great, but when theming carries the restaurant instead of food, there is a problem.

7/10 for 50s Prime Time is an extremely inaccurate low ranking! Having eaten there 30+ times over the years, it’s a 9/10 at least and my go to at Hollywood Studios!

Did anyone notice that for the Anaheim restaurant it said abc commissary 😂😂

Backlot Express which only has bad burgers and basic chicken tenders is a 9/10 because of it's charm while Docking Bay 7 which has immensely better food and better theming is a 7/10? Even if you discount the food styles for kids you would have to discount the food styles for adults with Backlot because the food there is truly bad.

Before I watch this, I know we're going to disagree on Brown Derby (not a fan), and PizzeRizzo (definitely a fan). That's okay though. We all have our preferences.

Honestly your content is really, really, really great. I've been binging disney vlogs / reviews / general content for YEARS! My first trip in 2017 to WDW involved a year or so of intense online research and ever since then..... and honestly this content is top, top tier. You guys should be so proud :D

I'm planning a solo trip to Disneyworld in January. This video is going to help me, majorly.

Docking Bay 7 is NOT a 7/10. On a good day, it's a 9/10; on a decent/meh day, it's still easily an 8/10. It's literally the only place I actually plan into my day for a meal when at Hollywood Studios.

THANK YOU for being considerate of those with shellfish allergies! Like Columbia harbor House there are literally no safe options for people with fish/shellfish allergies at dockside diner right now. Not even the cute brownie is listed as allergy safe for those allergies. Thanks again

I liked the Kat Saka's popcorn. There are things in Hollywood Studios I like more though, like blue and green milk and ronto wraps. As for Mama Melrose's, our family loves it and they've always been so good with our little kids. Sci-fi and 50's Primetime are our favorites from this park overall because we love the theming and immersion.

Luke Skywalker drinks green milk in The Last Jedi. I thought that both of the milks were good, and the taste must be like the cilantro thing because I wouldn’t even imagine that it taste like perfume?? Lol! I tried the Outpost Mix popcorn, and after a few bites it grew on me and I gobbled the whole thing in a few minutes 😊 Oh, and I would get in my car and drive 13 hours from DC right now to have another Wookiee cookie 😆😆

There are way too many restaurants at this park considering how few rides there are and how few things to do if you’re not into wandering around Batuu. Just not a fan of Hollywood Studios.

Thankfully they've added COUNTLESS warnings to those ordering the Fuzzy Tauntaun. No straws. No inhaling. No messing around. The foam is a neat touch until an overzealous manchild accidentally aspirates it and ends up losing their airway for 30-45 seconds, flat on the floor, CastMembers hitting the Panic Button. A little embarassing. Recounting for a friend of course... ;-)

I've never had or seen any of the "antics" at Prime Time in five visits. Is it something they just do for families, and not for tables of adults?

I think I just asked about this on the 2021 guide. lol So, I have a question - It seems like AJ really talked Prime Time up and Sci Fi down, but gave Prime Time a 7.5 vs 8 for Sci Fi. So.... WHICH? lol Also, I could be wrong (I'm diabetic so I don't really enjoy sugary drinks/food), but I think on 4/1, the Blue/Green milk went up in price to $8.49. I didn't pay THAT close attention. Tell me I'm wrong!

I love Woody’s Lunchbox and Docking Bay 7. I am a vegetarian and the Felucian Kefta at Docking Bay is one of the best Plant based meatball dishes I’ve had. That will always be a winner in my book.

I had one of the most wonderful experiences at 50's Prime Time, I love that place. I went by myself and I had a park close reservation, and I went because I love that kind of food and don't get to eat it very often. I didn't know about the server thing at the time, and I didn't know about it till watching this video, because I had this little old lady as my server (who was as tall as I was sitting down) and she was just really sweet and lovely. And another server sat down across from me for a minute to talk about the milk shakes, and he was just a really sweet old guy. It was great.

We love 50s Prime time not only for the decent comfort foods, but the theming makes you feel as if you’re taking a break from the park at Grandma’s house…we just always feel more refreshed after a stop there.

We love 50's Prime Time Cafe, my cousin Laura was awesome, love the atmosphere and milk shack.

Hoping by our trip in November that the Roundup BBQ in toy story land will be open and that we can get in. We always struggle at Hollywood Studios with meals. Hollywood and Vine is by far the worst we’ve had there. Got food poisoning and never again setting foot in there.

I hope the Disney dinning plan comes back next year I just think it’s so much easier than saving more or doing math to make sure I have enough

No store bought pickles taste the same as DL pickles in a bag! Lol! Same for the turkey legs and churros!! Love all 3 and get atleast 2 of each every time! The wookie cookie Is AMAZING!! The blondie looked sooo good but the frosting tasted like throw up and the bottom part made my mom and I super sick. Idk if it was just a bad batch or what. Also, ABC has an amazing salad and love there fries most of the time.

50’s Prime Tine is a family favorite of ours. The sampling of Mom’s favorite receipts is really delicious!! When we went last summer the Cast Member we had wasn’t in a playful mood at all and we kind of missed that. Maybe next summer we when go again.

I highly recommend the shrimp tacos at ABC Commissary! Delicious!

So here’s a question. Why doesn’t sci-fi dine In have popcorn as a side? Seems like a no brainer

I was at 50's Primetime Cafe in May and one thing I think is notable is that the portions are quite a good size (especially compared to a lot of other restaurants/food stops in Hollywood Studios)! My family of two adults and two young adults were filled, and many tables around us had leftovers (sometimes half the plate). We also thought the food was quite tasty despite it being more "normal" things like pot roast and fried chicken. They also had specials of the day (chicken pot pie and salmon when we were there), so that was also a pleasant addition. By far, this was our favorite restaurant throughout our whole time at Disney!

Thank you so much for these videos, so helpful! Best tip I think I’ve heard for parents of younger ones is to book a lunch everyday when in a park. Perfect rest time outta the sun for an hour or so, especially if being entertained at a character restaurant. Much ❤️ ❤️

ABC Commissary gets a 7/10?!? That was one of the worst meals I have ever had! Nothing magical about the food, the service or the atmosphere. I had to apologize to my friend who was a Disney first timer.

For sci-fi dine in, I like the atmosphere but the food is just meh, 50s prime time I really like same for all of the galaxies edge restaurants and woodys lunchbox, all of the others are a pass

I love these videos summing up all the restaurants and food stands at each park and appreciate the clear explanation of the pros and cons. I did want to note that some of us still prefer the outdoor seating due to COVID concerns. I suspect that the video is designed to be evergreen, but it might be helpful to spend more time not harping on wanting indoors and AC when the opposite is true for guests like us. Talking about the best outdoor seating spots might be a good addition for a future video or as an add-on down the road. Great job as always with this video!
