Not sure why the GVT isn't on this list but yeah the rorsche and SWS are beasts, excellent at range but really versatile too. I find the rorsche is so good for modes like rush and breakthrough since you can snipe everyone off as attacker and then switch to a closer range sight and full auto while you take the objective. The SWS having an incendiary launcher UB is great too theyre both my most used snipers just ahead of the XCE BAR

Still annoyed at the fact they didn't port the M98B from Portal After they added the Deagle I really wished to relive the BF4 days of aggressive sniping with the M98B + Juan Deag

I agree with putting the SWS being the number 1 best sniper rifle, because most BF2042 players use it and i used it the most out all the gun I unlocked in the sniper rifle/DMR sections

I've not played in like a year or more but for me the NTW 50 is my favourite. It's a short range weapon but it's so extremely satisfying to use.

I like the SWS, I use it for range, but for me the Gol is king in this game. Just feels the best to use in general, especially for aggressive. Though the rate of fire is better on the XCE, but I think the Gol has a slightly faster ADS speed right? For me that's more imprtant for aggressive especially in Breakthrough. Using the Gol feels very similar to using the Krag on BF5 in a way, also for the NTW, 3.5x scope is better, trust! I miss pre patch sniping in 2042, before they nerfed the x8 scope and the SWS 1 shot body shot 😩

The gol used to be great it used to do 88 close range and 75 long range and paired with the fastest ads in a sniper and a solid fire rate it was a solid contender for first but then they changed it to do 75 and 60 and now it’s just a sws with less attachments

I don't really think any of the sniper rifles are bad, frankly my least favorite is the NTW-10. I'm currently working to T1 the DXR-1, it's fine it works, it definitely isn't as snappy, and the bullet velocity is actually really nice, but really if you can lead shots and account for bullet drop a gun that handles better and has faster fire rate will obviously be better. SWS-10 is hard to beat IMO, for aggressive sniping I tend to use that or the GVT 45-70. I plan to T1 the XCE Bar next, so maybe that'll be in the rotation more, but so far the SWS-10 feels better for me for some reason, but haven't played the XCE Bar much yet.

Sws is my baby sniping people across the map with that thing lmao had a lotta fun with it

for me the dxr is the best sniper hands down, for long range there's no other sniper that is as effective. For closer range, I always go the magnum. I pair both with the deagle.

Not the GOL being the 2nd worst D: I grinded so hard to get it recently. I loved it in BFBC2/BF4, it sounded so badasss.

Man I love the sws-10. When I played the game I hit the actual greatest clip of my life with it where I jumped out of a jet and hit a headshot. It was awesome. I can send an email to anyone that doesn’t believe me
