This was a great analysis of both the songs and the album as a whole, Eric! I very much enjoyed it for the same reasons you listed, and I would say my top three songs are GOLDWING, NDA, and Happier Than Ever :)
I'm happy she tried some different styles, I hope she continues in the future to incorporate styles like Billie Bossa Nova and the edgier retro pop (think Amy Winehouse) along with the electronica.
I can't tell yet, there's so many that I am hitting it off with. I didn't know what to expect from this album, but I was so happy I love it. I wish she had made it a double album instead. I think I've come back to Oxytocin most often due to personal circumstances. Getting older too, I think it's the new Landslide (Stevie Nicks) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Fcd8UbutjIg.html
Oh and also Everybody Dies. I just relate to it so much. It used to terrify me as a kid, but now I find there’s a weird kind of comfort in that knowledge. Which is the only thing that we know for sure. Idk it really moved me.
This album definitely exceeds a lot of people's expectation. The singles were mostly doesn't interest me. I mean Your Power is decent acoustic track but nothing to write about (for me). And Lost Cause, kinda grow on me but still not that interesting. .... NDA tho, it's sounds so heavy autotune and the production were quite interesting. Giving me hope that maybe Hyperpop will able to go fully mainstream one day. Also, will you consider listening to Spellling one day? I think she has something to offer, the really big one.
@@ericmason6540 Would you do some lyrical a analysis one day? I think she has very magical narrative going on that I don't necessarily understand. I thought we're talking about Emperor and now we're talking Boys At School.
Hi Eric. I hope that you're ok. I know you didn't mean to, but I was a little sad that you didn't my last question. So I'm going to try again. Did you see the new space jam movie yet? And what's your favorite Looney Toon character is? My favorites are Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester, and Foghorn Leghorn. Please answer back when you get the chance.
@@ericmason6540 Thank you for answering. Tweety's an okay character. Oh and one more thing. What are your thoughts about the Olympics overall? Like them? Hate them? Indifferent? If you do like them, what's your favorite sport and season?
