Depends. It doesn;t activate when zombies come near, And it does explode even if its never used. It has a duration effect, And can be Shovled, But does *NOT* Last around until triggered.

@@DJ_Wolfy5 If anything that's the reaosn it's above Perfume and Intensive carrot. It has some genuinely useful niches, but you have to get it to level 5 and honestly, by then, you've dealt with Octipus Zombies and beaten Big wave Beach and Modern Day. Still it does prevent you from deadlocking which is more than Intenstive Carrot can say and I REALLY wish Perfume shroom would summon a dino in levels where there are none.

If it was Guacadile who has a move that gets it off the lawn, I could see the argument, but Chomper.... kind of gets into "playing the game wrong" territory if we're talking semantics. Like saying "bomb hovering in Ocarina of time is an intended mechanic of bombs, not blowing up rocks". XD

Doesn't Thyme Warp reset zombie HP? I know it doesn't balence it out cause you can just use puffball or heath seeker to delete everything, but it is something to consider.

Mints are not included, because they are unique enough to be their own set of plants. At least in my opinion. And yes I will probably make the semi insta tier list video somewhat-ish soon. just keep in mind they take A LOT of time to make.

If i could change anything, I'd make hot potato act like a cherry bomb or hot potato in the sense it can be used to damage zombies or warm singular frozen blocks so that it has more utility and even fun game mechanic for frozen levels

Hurrikale, Squash are still free. You just need 100 gems. Snow pea has always cost money except for like 1 special sale (for a couple days) where it cost gems years ago.

Primal potato is the most absurd plant PERIOD. Strictly better than most other planets, is FREE, and the only weakness is it costs 50 sun instead of 25.... and I thought Sun Shroom was over buffed. Heck Primal arms itself so quickly, if a zombie is a tile away, it'll get up before it gets eaten anyway, AND it does more damage than Cherry bomb at the same level. XD What is balance? (need I remind everyone it's FREE? meaning you can FARM IT?) Primal Potato mine gets it's own tier just like Gold Bloom back when that one TOO was free! XD (though at least you can't farm seeds for it, but gosh you don't need to)

True Insta are plants that CANNOT be plant food and DISAPPEAR immediately. Ghost Pepper is a semi insta, just like Potato Mine. Also, you forgot Rhubarbarian. It's a melee insta plant that either knock zombie or stun locked the zombie in it's lane

Gold leaf is actually pretty decent if not op if the levels were longer. It basically replaces sun producers in the late game allowing you to place far more stronger plants in the extra space. The issue is PvZ 2 Vanilla doesn’t really too much sun compared to the mods due to broke sunproducers as well as the levels being too short for them to snowball

<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="256">4:16</a> I will atleast argue that gold leaf should be somewhat higher on C tier or be low on B tier because of being a space efficient sunflower that only costs 100(or was it 80) sun, sure there aren't alot of times where you don't have space for sunflowers but there are times where you don't have enough space for attackers while having a healthy amount of sun late game, where you basically start replacing sunflowers for strong attackers Speaking from experience with gold leaf on Altverz basically, it's really good at times when you have to start replacing sunflowers for more attackers or when you have limited space/plants

Gold leaf struggles in vanilla PvZ'2 meta. The levels are so fast and gold leaf has a long recharge, so you can never really use it to it's full potential. It's alot stronger in altverse because the levels are longer allowing you to get down more.

Potato mine has the ultimate niche of being a great first round staller. Literally people buy the rake in PVZ1 for that purpose and since PVZ2 doesn't have a rake, you just place a potatomine and have twice as much time to set up sunflowers. It's still a very valid strat if you don't have Gold Bloom. I'd say B is fair if you're using it right. C at the lowest.

@@MarioMastar yeah but in pvz 1, the sun meta is 25 so it's much harder to setup defense early. In pvz 2, it's a 50 sun meta so it's 2x faster to setup a defense. This defeats the entire point of potato mine.

The funny thing is Cherry Bomb is still really S tier because it does it's job. If you bring in Cherry bomb AND Grape shot and immitate, you have effectively cut Cherry bomb's recharge time to 1/3. Plus Cherry bomb is the only one that's Free2play so you can farm seed packs for it (not that that matters too much though, just recharges slightly faster and maybe can destroy a machine zombie). Since Power lilly and Gold bloom factored in their price (frankly Power lilly's biggest flaw is having the longest recharge time in the game at 75 seconds, and unlike Gold Bloom, using a plantfood to recharge it is literally a meme), but if price is a factor, I'd argue cherry bomb is BETTER than bombegranite because you can farm it for free.

I think that the comparison of the D-tier Insta is not apples to apples. I mean, those are conditional plants (along with E.M. Peach). In my opinion, it's better for them to be placed in a new/certain class, like "Conditional," or make a tier list for support plants.

In this case, Perfume shroom is "Nice" cause it's useful for what it can be used for, but it's "niche" because it's ONLY useful for that very particular scenario, and not ultra good at it given the dinosaurs can leave whenever they want even if charmed. Nothing worse than charming a dinosaur only for the next round to start and they run off the stage, just for a wave of uncharmed ones to show up while you're recharging. That's kind of what makes perfume shroom the "worst". It's sadly not even good at what it's meant to do. BUT getting the cute dinosaurs on our side is always gonna have a soft spot in my heart! I just wish it summoned dinosaurs randomly if used in other levels so it'd have a use outside of just being cute.

Justice for intensive carrot! Why? Its good You can revive high cost plants "You can have a lot of sun so its useless" If you have gold bloom or something like that, most people don't have it so then you can use intrusive carrot It can quickly respawn it Lets say that you have 2 gargs in one lane, you have like a mega Gatling pea and winter melon on cooldown so you revive gatling pea and use plant food, problem solved

@@DJ_Wolfy5 now that i think of it, noctarine probably is only really useful with shadow shroom as a lazy buff but you could just use moonflower and have an always active powered up shadow shroom to spam plant food on so its really not that good at all lol

Why is Bud'uh Boom so high? That plant deals only 1000 explosion dmg and 25 butter dmg iirc. I can't say it's a better Cherry Bomb, because that plant deals 1800 dmg.

I think that this video should account for the fact that some of these are obtained in adventure mode and that not every player is gonna be buying premiums to beat the game. For example, without the Mints and Boingzetta, Grave Buster is a lot more useful in Dark Ages for the Sun and Plant Food graves. I don't think world plants should be compared to premiums/seediums/whateveriums when taking their usefulness into account.

I think mints get a separate video due to thier interactions with other plants, making them a bit quirkier to rate. I think it's fair.

Key word: "level 5". You can effectively clear every map with Blover and level 5 stallia too. XD (if Blover wasn't banned in every arena for that exact reason) Sadly that means by the time you do get it to level 5, you've probably already beaten Big wave beach as it's unlikely anyone will farm Frostbite caves in preparation for it. but the fact it can save you from a losing position makes it better than bottom. Now if it also removed sheepification and even made plants immune to transformation temporarily then bump it up.
