Peter didnt die, if you go frame by frame when he stops firing the mp40 bolt is closed, meaning its out of ammo.(check 10:44) When peter surrenders he goes to shoot him. Those 2 shots are from a US soldier with an m3 grease gun, he sees the crewmember raising the mp40 and shoots him, therefore peter is actually alive.

Someone said that the ending gun shot for the last Tiger sounded more like a M3 Grease Gun then MP40,so that implied Müller survived

The last tiger was so good that I felt the need to find all the letters and complete all the challenges, it was totally worth for that tiger skin

Personal List: (This is my own opinion, if you think that i did anything wrong, feel free to comment) 5th: The Norway One. It felt really emotionless and had a lack of fighting imo. It also completely changed the way stuff actually happened and it got me pretty pissed off. It was clearly DICE & EA trying to shove their opinions in our faces. 4th: Under no flag. Again, slow paced gameplay. At least they made it just a little better with the last section but it was still a dissapointment. It was also cheesy as fuck. 3rd: The prologue (did i spell it right? English isn't my first language lmao) Honestly felt a little rushed and wasn't that accurate but it did kinda give us an introduction to the shithole we were about to enter :P. 2nd: The French one. *SPOILER ALERT* A decent balance of slow and fast paced gameplay, it honestly fell a little hard when Idrissa died and the ending made it feel like it was all for nothing, the re-use of multiplayer models made it kinda lack variation but it was ok. 1st: The Last Tiger.*ONCE AGAIN, SPOILER ALERT* This was really something different, you finally got to see through the enemy's eyes. A nearly perfect balance between slow and fast paced gameplay and i really got attached to the characters, to the point where i felt quite upset that Strudel (ik that's not his name but thats's what we're calling him) shot the other characters. It was probabl the best war story i've played so far, good job DICE! (not EA cuz fuck them tbh)

the epilogue always makes me choke up a little. Even though im still a kid, i've studied the Second World war for many years. In the beginning of researching about this war, i've always though their was only one side of good during the war. The Allies are human, the Axis are monsters. But eventually, i've realised that the majority of the soldiers for the Germans and Italians were... that, they were soldiers fighting in a world against strangers, with cruel machines in countries most of them had never seen. Each soldier, under any stripes, under any government, good or not, hated war. The epilogue of this game is something that I think is very beuitaful. To every soldeir, airman, commander, tank crew, sailor and person fighting for any country in the wars of yesteryear, now and to come, the men who you fight along side and the men who you shoot at are human, and none of them like war. the fathers of war, would raise the sons of peace.

Maybe one where you try to kill the White Death or play as Her 6. The bombing of London 7. Germany losing and its final moments 9. Maybe like a mission where you escort the atomic bomb plane (ik the plane wasn't attacked but maybe a cool idea) 10. A Japanese fighter pilot (and the ending is a kamikaze) 11. The retreating of Dunkirk And many more small stories

Yeah a lot of these war stories made the past how dice wanted to see them and were pretty wrong. until the last tiger which i feel was the most story and made sense for what was happening at the time.

I found that "Under no flag" was actually quite fun as long as you yell everytime you kill someone "You are dead,You know why? BECAUSE I'M BILLY FUCKIN' BRIDGER!" in a bad accent

My units history is build on the guys that did the real Gunnerside sabotage that could maybe be claimed as the most successful sabotage world in history, then being done buy this young girl and her mom. The war stories are meant to show all of the fronts of war instead of just one perspective so how about this. 1 campaign. The last tiger, but this time you travel through Northern Africa, then Italy, then France, until you finally reach Germany.

My ranking 1. Prologue 2. Last Tiger 3. Nordlys 4. Tiraillleur 5. Under No Flag Everything same as in the video, except the prologue, which is definitely underrated. First of all, it perfectly connects with Battlefield 1's prologue, it surprises me when the two soldiers pointing at each other is back in the sequel. This is also a perfect start for a WW2 game, showing the declaration of war instead of something mid-war like the D-Day, or even worse, the end of war like Battlefield 1 does. Every scene also connects smoothly with each other. The dog fighting part is the most unforgettable aerial combat experience I've ever had. The atmosphere really makes me feel like a pilot defending homeland from bombers. And it portraits the Germans as defenders, just like how the Last Tiger and the previous tank scene did, the best thing a game has ever done. The final slow motion scene is also stunning. The sad music blends in perfectly with your soldier cocking the 1911, then desperately shooting at the enemies. I would say it is the best prologue ever made.

I played all the war stories on hardcore for my first go, I gotta say, the French campaign was my second favourite, that shit was so intense.

The last tiger I would say is the one of the best Battlefield war stories to come, it reminds me of the movie Fury, just from the Tiger I perspective

My favourite Story wise: 1. The last tiger: This reminds us that there were German soldiers who were completely oblivious of how evil the Nazis are the characters are all rememberable and all are amazingly fleshed out. 2. Tirilleur: I loved how this story was taken on as I truly enjoyed the characters and the story behind it. 3. Prologue: because it is good unlike the joint last and I enjoyed seeing the different mini sections of the paratroopers and the German Luftwaffe as it explored different stories. 5. Nordlys and under no flag: because under no flag makes no sense and Nordlys is not historically accurate and that really bugs me as the real heros should be remembered. Gameplay wise: 1. Nordlys 2. The last tiger 3. Prologue 4. Tirilleur 5. Under no flag Higher the number the worst Tirilleur: 6 The last tiger: 2 Under no flag: 10 Prologue: 6 Nordlys: 6 Basically last tiger is sick and under no flag is shit your welcome

The Last Tiger is great, but I enjoyed playing through all of them. Maybe I'm just very forgiving, but the Norwegian and French foreign legion one were fun to play. I especially liked the skiing mechanic and the Norweigan setting

Fun fact, the paper clip worn in the Nordlys was a symbol of the Norwegian monarchy under German occupation. A paperclip was chosen as they were a common household item.

The Last Tiger deserves the number one spot, for its versatility, story, and characters. Also the ending made me cry.

The Last Tiger is the best singleplayer mission Dice have ever made in my opinion. It always bothered me that they didn’t put a mission in Bf1 where you play as a German soldier. It would’ve been very cool in my opinion. But thankfully, they put in The Last Tiger in Bf5 and it was a very good Story being told. Sure the gameplay was a bit linear but it’s still alright and it’s something unique and I think more games should do something similar.

Let’s take a second to recognize Dice’s Legendary accomplishment. They managed to find the only way to piss off a shit ton of people in one swoop with a teenager, and yet somehow make a shit ton of people sad when a Nazi dies. That’s pretty impressive work

Under No Flag represents the British Special Forces unit SBS (Special Boat Service) they primarily recruited out of the box thinkers almost always from existing military units like their sister unit the SAS. It is assumed that Bridger performed a truly ingenious thing while robbing the bank or possibly his ability to flat out lie when under heat and take the blame and also suffer the consequences. Though he may be a bad thief he is clever and remarkably loyal. I think Under No Flag did a good job representing the SBS and the ingenuity it took to be a special forces operator in the birthing stages of special forces. Also I love the inclusion of “Its a long way to Tipperary” in the final act and the accurate amount of swearing included in a conversation between two Brits. Also the flat delivery of lines is more a British thing to me it sounded completely natural and something that could have been said.

This game has been the biggest let down in gaming history for me. I love Battlefield as a franchise, i am fascinated with history and following BF1 was begging for a decent WWII game. I enjoyed the war stories format in BF1 as opposed to a single story campaign and so i was happy to it return. And the choice to showcase smaller stories instead of retreading the old ground of D-Day, Stalingrad and Al Elamein was great. I loved the concepts of the formation of the SBS, the Norwegian resistance, Senegal colonist fighting for France and playing as Axis forces. This was exactly what i wanted. And yet, it was too little too late. COD beat them to a decent WWII game on the PS4/XboxOne generation of consoles. It was far too short. I would have proposed more war stories for Dunkirk, Greece, Yugoslavia and perhaps more importantly, to actually include something from the Asian theatre (Burma maybe) and the Soviet Eastern front. The inaccuracy of the stories were embarrassing. Nordly in particular i find disrespectful to the men who not only risked their lives but completed the mission without firing a single shot. DICE's attempt to push the minorities not getting represented card really felt out of place, and by replacing real heroes and real events with fictional ones took away from the experience. Bridger or whatever his name was, from under no flag, was the most unlikable character in any video game i've ever played. And he had Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins levels of shitty British Accent. Tirailleur was the only one of the original, release day war stories that actually felt like it was set in WWII, the rest had too many guns with weird attachments on, uniforms which didn't look all that accurate and dialogue which sounded like it was millennials speaking not soldiers from the 1940s. The prologue i wouldn't even count as a war stories, also it sucks compared to BF1's. The only war story which didn't suck was The Last Tiger and that wasn't perfect either considering it was far too short and whilst i appreciate the fact its in German, i couldn't concentrate on reading the subtitles and playing the game. I'd say ranking them, Last Tiger is the best followed by Tirailleur and then it really doesn't matter for the rest, they all suck as much as each other for different reasons. I would much rather had a full campaign of Last Tiger than this bollocks.

I think it was a poor choice to include that ending cutscene as ideally you would have played the lat tiger as your final and the ending leaves the perfect message with and then you watch that cutscene which had this whole happy go lucky vibe to it
