Sometimes simple is good and this was a good example of it. Cody didn’t have too many outlandish attires/appearances so it seemed pretty easy for THQ/2K to make him right.
I hope its not at the deduction of him being in the upcoming AEW Fight Forever game though (probably which if so that sucks he helped create the company)
I think SvR 2011 he looked way off . I dont count All-Stars since thats a cartoony game on purpose, but SvE 2011 PS3 /360 looked super off to me in the face; No reason they needed to change it from 2009/2010 and the PS2 version even looked better. So yeah, PS3/360 version of 2011 was a bad model.
i think that overall Cody had very good models in every WWE game! maybe only SvR 2011 has some weird aspects on his face like the eyes and the mouth, nice ranking as always 💪🏻

I dunno wth happened with SvR 2011 Cody. Especially coming off the very well made 2009 and 2010 Cody. I would actually rank that as bad. IN FACT, the PS2 version of SvR 2011 Cody Rhodes looked more accurate than the PS3 / 360 one! I dunno how that is even possible but it is. Probably because Yuke's didnt bother to rebuild the PS2 model from the previous years (aka if it aint broke dont fix it), while the PS3 / 360 SvR 2011 they tried to revamp the models and it was hit or miss; for Cody it was definitely a miss. Not to mention SvR 2011 was the last WWE PS2 game so they already were super comfortable with the PS2 hardware so maybe thats why. But then again by 2011 they had already had many years working on the PS3 and 360 so theres still no excuse why Cody looked so off in SvR 2011 PS3 / 360 but he looked good in SVR 2011 PS2. Like if this was early PS3 / 360 stage I could understand it as during the years of 2005 through 2008 I would say, when the Xbox 360 had just come out (2005) and the PS3 one year later (2006), many developers of games were still trying to figure out the new HD hardware so we got a lot of high definition uncanny valley models. But that isnt the case with Yukes going in since we see here that 2009 and 2010 had good character models. So they clearly made a poor artistic direction choice with SvR 2011 PS3 / 360 Cody. Which is odd because that game has other character models that are a hit. So something happened that led to inconsistency there. You mentioned his mouth looking awkward but to me it wasnt just that.the shape of his head proportion and his eyes especially were uncanny valley weird to me.
Maybe it's just me but I really dislike his 15-16 model, the sqinty eyes kill it for me, and the head shape is off and in 15 his hair looks odd. My favorite Cody model of all time (Hopefully 23 does the best one) is SVR 11
@@Rafox02 Cody just returned 2k can’t add anyone else in the game because they would have to add more lines which will mean they have to pay more people and the announcer got fired so he can’t say Cody Rhodes name
Batista next? I feel they struggled to get him right until the first SvR, and then again started struggling whenever they had to include a bald version of him, but in between, from SvR to SvR 2010, they got him looking nigh-perfect. Best versions would be ranked "The Animal", while the worst ones would be "Boo-tista"
@@govardhanposina17 Yep. Only the retro one which recycled his SvR 2007 to 2009 face looked like him in 2k14. And the less said about modern Batista in 2k15 for the PS3, the better
At least from SVR 2007 to 2K14, Batista's model was accurate. But when it comes to the 2K15 next gen, everything turns into a disaster. Batista models from 2K15 all the way up to 2K22 are made very unlike him and look so ugly.
