Ranking Every Zone from Elder Scrolls Online including Expansions - 2024

Ah man that means so much! Comments like this really mean the world because when I make the videos it’s just me. I don’t have anyone to run them by so I just make them and hope people enjoy them! Then a comment like this gives me the confidence that I’m doing stuff right and to stick at it! Honestly it really means a lot you taking the time to write this! Thank you! And eso is a great game now as well! It’s a bit easy, but definitely worth it now.

@@AVVGaming1 The Main quest with Vampires in Rivenspire, but the simple mood of Glenumbra reminds me of Brittany (west of France) where I come from 🥰 I also played a few years back the Dragon Storyline in Elsweyr and it was soooooooo good. The introduction when the Dragons escape I was literally in awe 😱

@@mael8881 you now what? Rivenspire is one of the older areas and it’s smaller than some but it still stands up as one of the best story lines and zones out of them all! Honestly you have so much to explore and enjoy! They’re all great in some way! Western Skyrim and Summerset are two of my faves but I love them all! I haven’t played the newest release but I’ll do a video on it as soon as I do :) it’s awesome you get to experience the whole game for the first time

Thank you! Totally agree with you that mortal feels a bit empty and under developed. It’s one of my favourite zones and I replayed it not long ago. Really good quests and activities. Any you would change on the list?

@@AVVGaming1 I think you've got the order about right. Coldharbour is way down my list, not a place I go to voluntarily for anything other than completing the main quest. It's just......grim, including that constant white noise in the background. As you pointed out, you can see where they handcrafted the environments with more thought.

@@ortacreef8557 yeah cold Harbor, man that is a place I only visit if I have too but I don’t like hanging around there for long lol it’s generally very stressful and linear too! Where would you place it?

@@AVVGaming1 I'd put it no higher than five places above the bottom. The grim atmosphere, the white noise, and it's not easy getting around without wayshrines. Also, subjectively, one of the main set drops is Stygian. A PVP set. I'm not into PVP.

@@ortacreef8557 no I don’t like pvp either. Every time I start a new character I have to do the “for glory” quest otherwise it keeps confusion me thinking it’s a quest lol but I honestly despise the pvp arena. I’m all about the zones and pve. I love western Skyrim though and summerset is incredibly packed with great content. Sometimes though I wish eso would let you play on your own server lol

Yes I agree and the only reason why I had to put it so low was because of its size. The whole map only takes a few hours to complete but the aesthetics, quests and side quests here are all top notch. I also really like the outside bar there, has a really chill vibe to it. Where would you put it?

Yes the giant aqueduct is awesome and one of the real sites. The whole area of northern elsweyr in really stunning with the canyons and towns. Rivenspire has one of the best stories even including the new expansions, the side quests are great too. But yes, the area is bleak to look out. If you go there just focus solely on the main quest and you will get the see the best of rivenspire! What’s your favourite area?

@@AVVGaming1 I can't wait to visit. I just know so far that it has to do with vampires if I'm not wrong. My favorite area is of course Summerset. :-) Exploring this place of beauty is so cool.

@@waveculture9457 summerset is the best! It was the second major expansion and they still haven’t managed to top it! Great world, great main quest, great side quests, that zone has everything! Let me know how you get on with it! Would love to hear your review!

@@AVVGaming1 The main quest with the daedric princes was awesome. The end of this main quest was so beautiful (when we must climb to the top of the tower). Unfortunately, it's also the place where I had to kill Veya (TWICE !! Damn you Nocturnal !!) and it broke my heart. I had so much empathy for that charachter. Sad arch.😰 And the story with Valsirenn and her husband (and her lost daughter) was very sad too. In the end, Summerset has one of my favorite side quest. It's kind of a Romeo and Juliet Story but with an Altmer and a Maormer. A lot of bitterness in Summerset when you think about it. 😀

@@waveculture9457 you’ve nailed it. When he sacrificed himself so you could keep going up the tower, well they both did. It was long too but never outstayed its welcome. Honestly, you’re gonna make me play it again. Western Skyrim was awesome too with the underground caverns

Honestly Galen is really good! The map is beautiful and split into two sections. The main quest there is very good and so are the dungeons and side quests. The only reason why it didn’t rank higher is because it looks a lot like High Isle. Let me know when you play it and what how you find it. What’s your favourite area in the game?

Where would you put it? On the ranking list?

@@РоманМальцев-п4е yes it’s a difficult one to place. When I redo the list and add in golden road, I’ll put that one in as well. And maybe even the actual PVP areas and try and cover everything

Me too! I have every expansion and played and enjoyed them all but I haven’t yet got golden road. I’m waiting for a while because I find it really annoying when you get a new dlc and it’s packed to the prim. Reminds me of being at a theme park and having to wait for rides in long queues lol. Probably going to get it soon! What’s your favourite zone you’ve played so far?

@@AVVGaming1 Somerset was my first but I think I had the most fun in northern elsweyr but southern elsweyr and western skyrim are close 2 and 3

@@trappestarrgaming3422 southern elseweyr was a really strange one! It was a smaller DLC, not the biggest map, same music and ambience as northern elswyr but it just did something right! Like it clicked so well. The story, the dragons, the side quests all of it was top notch! My wife’s favourite zone is southern elsweyr and she’s beat it about 10 times lol. She got the new graphic version and the first place she went was there to check the graphics of the jungle region, so good! You have good taste in zones! I need to play the new one so I can get it on here!

Yes eyevea would have been one of the lowest ranked just because of there not being much to do, but I love that you can scry there now and it’s added a lot of value to return there. Anything you would change on the list?

Thank you! I think ESO is very underrated in terms of its worlds aesthetics.

You could have put Craglorn. A large part of its content as been changed to be done solo, including the main quest an the zone aestethic is unique with the giant skyshard and the nedic towers.

Haha it’s a long old list! Honestly you know what’s crazy? I love Summerset but guess which zone I’ve done the most? Auridon! About 6 times I’ve cleared the map with 6 characters and my wife who I play with is obsessed with that zone. We could have 1000 dlcs and she always says “let’s do auridon” lol it’s such a great location! Anything on the list you’d change?

@@AVVGaming1 it’s alway my first zone bro, like 15-16 times over the course of the years… I think I tried daggerfall once…. And deleted it lol 😂

@@lgbfjb1183 I love the AD main zones. EP is also great and I’d say the DC is the weakest. I like alikr desert and Rivenspire but zones like Wayrest seemed to drag on lol

@@AVVGaming1 while you’re here, I been away for several months, I’ve taken many breaks before and always come back around… usually around dlc times, but I have yet to check out the scribbling system… are they any good? In your opinion? Worth the time?

@@lgbfjb1183 unfortunately I have not yet played the new expansion or the scribing system so I can’t give feedback. It’s on my log of games to play and I will reply To this comment as soon as I try it. When are you thinking of playing gold road?
